I would have given 5 stars… but the mattress was the worst mattress in the history of mattress in room 10. The springs were completely worn out, had dips in it so bad you would roll off. And the noise of the worn out springs! Oh it was a tiny double/ full. After 2 hrs I had enough. I finally went down stairs (no one there). I called and someone called me back. We were able to change rooms and it was fantastic. The mattress had a nice topper, was a regular double size, and didn’t make noise. The staff was great. In fact the lady who checked us in was the nicest and most helpful person I’ve met in a month of my travels. She even called to get us reservations. The breakfast was good also. I’m not much on the traditional UK breakfast, but I had pancetta and scrambled eggs that was delicious! Parking and walking is a breeze.

Disorganised and expensive for what it was…
Check-in was slow, as they’d lost the key. When we eventually got into the room, it looked a bit tired, but was clean. We then discovered there was no TV remote!… and despite several attempts from the staff to try and “find a spare”, all attempts failed. This was frustrating as, after a long day, we just wanted to relax and watch some tv.
I was told that the owner was away, but upon their return was promised that a “goodwill partial refund” would be offered. No communication happened (surprise, surprise) and we were left feeling very hard done by - an average hotel, at premium prices, who clearly don’t care about their guests!

An amazing little hotel in a quiet little street in Tobermory. Lovey, compact town, everywhere is within easy walking distance but there are a few hills. The facilities were really good, nice little bar with great food. We were made to feel really welcome, even our little toy poodle, George. We all loved our 4 night stay and definitely hope to return one day.

The place was really busy when we arrived and we got the last space in the car park. The hotel bar was really loud and busy including outside our room although it didn’t last until late hours. The hotel is up a steep hill and would exclude anyone with the slightest mobility issues wanting to visit the village. The staff were really friendly and accommodating but I’ve had better breakfasts.

The hotel might look humble from the outside, but is one of the nicest ones I've ever stayed!!! From the comfortable beds, the lovely decor, spacious room and bathroom, and such friendly and professional staff members: we were sad to leave. The room had a good tv, coffee machine and mini fridge, and USB charge points in the power outlets. Breakfast was delicious! When they say bacon, they mean bacon ❤️

Quick simple checkin, no lifts so luggage has to be carried up stairs, all rooms appeared to have a view in the direction of the port, well equipped in terms of USB sockets, mini-fridge, heating, tea & coffee, cups / beakers, TV channels, power shower, lighting. Access is via winding single track roads, fewer parking spaces than rooms, walls a bit thin so could be noisy, steep walk to and from the port. Generally pleasant and everyone was quiet overnight.

The only thing I would suggest is that if traveling with a Senior or with someone with mobility issues you will need to get a taxi to get up the hill to get to it. Ask the hotel for local taxi numbers and plan ahead.

Another amazing stay at Park Lodge Hotel! This was our 3rd stay in five years and Park Lodge and Mull never let us down...the hotel has recently been refurbished: new carpets throughout, new room furniture and all the ensuites have been renewed too!

Hotel was comfortable and our executive room was spacious and well-equipped. Bar and dining room were connected and tables well-spaced. Service could have been a wee bit quicker but staff were friendly.

No disabled parking and not enough spaces. Had to park across the road at the Scout Hut. Ramp in car park led to steps and was told by reception it's not a disabled hotel which is against the law. The bed was too high and was sagging badly to one side. Partner nearly fell out the bed in the night as it had a big saggy hole on one side of the mattress. Staff were nice and friendly. We enjoyed our stay. Park Lodge Hotel is conveniently located, they have their own parking and the breakfast we had was lovely. The room itself was a bit stuffy and the single beds were quite small, but fine for a short stay.

Another superb stay at this lovely hotel. We visited last year and liked it so much we returned this year. Lovely clean tidy room and really comfortable mattress and pillows! Great food, great bar and staff are really helpful and polite. Plus its just a short walk from all the towns pubs and shops, couldn't ask for anymore. And the staff even remembered your room number and what you chose for breakfast the day before!

We really enjoyed our stay at Park Lodge Hotel. Our superior room had the added bonus of an extra small room with a dressing table and clothes rack. The staff were friendly and welcoming and very pleasant throughout our whole stay. The breakfast and evening meals were lovely with a good choice. The hotel throughout had excellent Covid-19 measures in operation which gave us complete reassurance and trust in the accommodation. We would definitely stay here again.

Had no real expectation before going, but on arrival all the staff were genuine and friendly. Room was good, bigger than expected. In the morning the whole town had a power cut, They still produced a full cooked breakfast and continued to be really helpful.

Mmmm, for what is was don’t think the price was good, stayed in a lot better rooms for less. But I suppose it is Tobermory. Really friendly bar staff on Sunday evening and so accommodating. Apart from that pretty basic room nothing special. But it did what it is was there to do.

Owners and staff were very welcoming and the beer garden was a lovely bonus especially as we had good weather. Breakfast was good and we were able to eat early on the day of our ferry. Only downside was we struggled to pick up the WiFi in our room.

Quick overnight business trip and this hotel is not one I have used before. However I would certainly use again. Very clean and comfy with friendly staff and great service.
We had an evening meal and breakfast and both were excellent and generous. Hidden away up a lane and looking a little bland from outside, do not be put off. This is a stop over well worth a try. Even with the Covid restrictions still in place the staff did what they could to make us very welcome and as little inconvenienced as possible. Well Done and Thanks.
