Lovely hotel, convenient for football.

We chose this hotel as we were on a football trip and we're visiting Roda for a game. We arrived a few hours before kick off and we're able to park with no issues.
Check in was quick and staff were friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. The bar staff were attentive and friendly and drinks were reasonably priced. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Leisure complex hotel

The hotel is part of the football stadium leisure complex. Loads of parking outside and restaurants within walking distance.
Access is very convenient off the adjacent highway.
My only criticism is that there is no air conditioning and even the fan didn’t seem to work either.

Very clean and comfortable hotel in an easy to access location with lots of free parking. Friendly staff, large rooms that are well presented with comfy beds. Restaurant is quite limited, the one of the top floor is not connected to the hotel so has to be paid separately. It is attached to the football stadium so may be interesting on a match day

Excellent hotel, well maintained with nice, modern clean rooms with a cool contemporary feel. Reception is oddly small for a hotel of its size but that doesn’t mean much after check in. The food in the restaurant is excellent and cannot recommend the Carpaccio enough, so tasty, great service from friendly, cheery staff.

Know what to expect

You need to know that this hotel is part of a soccerstadium, together with shops, restaurants etc. So do expect large parkings surrounding the stadium and a lot of ‚superstores‘. If you can handle that it is a convenient modern hotel with a nice restaurant. The rooms are a bit dark due to lack of sufficient light fixtures. In my case the bulb of the main om
ne was broken, and although mentioned at reception in the morning, it did not get replaced. Besides that, a good place for a couple of nights during a business trip.

Really good hotel for Belgian Grand Prix

First thing to note - we were upgraded for free to an 'apartment' room which was a suite on the 4th floor. This room was absolutely wonderful with a lounge area, kitchenette and seperate double bedroom.

We had a fantastic stay here during this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix. The hotel sits snugly in the border area of Holland, Germany and Belgium so plenty to see and do. Aachen is only 15 mins drive away which is great for a city trip with excellent restaurants. The hotel is located on the outskirts of a Dutch town but is surrounded by amenities and restaurants which are helpful if you have children!

Superb breakfast (included in the price) with good range of hot and cold food.

The Spa-Francorchamps circuit was only 45 mins drive away and we were in the venue an hour after leaving the hotel. This worked really well for us considering how many hotels are booked up / overpriced in the general vicinity of the circuit when F1 weekend comes around.

Very Clean quiet and courteous hotel

Very nice stay with very courteous staff throughout, breakfast both hot and cold options available, with plenty of choice. Car parking is opposite the hotel with plenty of room to park and free which is a bonus.
Only stayed one night as traveling through, so cannot comment on surrounding area. I would definitely stay again without hesitation.

Heerlen Golden Tulip Hotel

Nice hotel attached to a soccer stadium, be aware as an American - the room had a shower stall - no bathtub, a dispenser that had \"body wash\" so no soap or shampoo, and the hot water was scalding hot - be careful, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I will stay here again on my next visit to the area.

We needed a hotel close to the places we wanted to visit (Roermond and Maasmechelen) and we wanted it to be close to the motorway. The hotel proved to fulfil our expectations. Staff was really very friendly. We had trouble heating the room the first night. May be we could not manage the control system well. Breakfast was great. Unfortunately we did not get a double bed. Instead there was a 2 twin beds. Overall we were happy with our choice.

A welcoming hotel

An overnight stop before starting a European tour with Club Triumph UK. I found the reception staff very friendly and helpful. There is a large, very convenient car park just outside the hotel. There is a choice of eating establishments within easy walking distance in addition to the two restaurants in the hotel itself. The hotel was quite quiet when I stayed, I imagine it might be lively when there is a match on at the nearby football stadium.

Perfect for a short stay

We spent one night at the Golden tulip and was happy with our stay. The price was good and a very nice breakfast was included. Reception staff were friendly and got us checked in quickly. The hotel felt a little clinical about the way it was designed and the materials used but it was clean and perfect for an over night stay. The only things that let it down was the location, in the middle of a very busy retail park.

Maastricht short stay.

Chose this hotel for its location. Was definitely not disappointed. Easy access to main roads which led to Maastricht, Aachen, Roermond and Valkenburg. Liked the fact that there were plenty fast food outlets next to the hotel for quick snacks at all times. The hotel itself was excellent. Reception staff extremely helpful and very friendly. Housekeeping staff were also very friendly. Breakfasts wer of a reasonably high standard and buffet was always well topped up. Will definitely use use this hotel again when in the area.

Good value for money at a remote location

This is the second time I stayed at the hotel. Experience is the same as last time good value for money at a remote location. This time the food at the brasserie is a disappointment. I had spareribs, which to my point of view is over marinated and it had too much dressing. The pre-cooked spareribs at Lidl has more meat taste than this one.

This is a nice comfortable hotel and we have stayed here twice. It is built into a football stadium. When we arrived the first time we thought the Sat Nav had directed us wrong as we had to drive around to the back of the stadium. We were sure we were lost. Great reception staff. Fantastic night porter who was very helpful. This was our second visit to this hotel. We did not like being asked to pay an additional fee on arrival. This did not happen when we used another booking site. Great breakfast. Free wi fi was very good and available everywhere.

Fresh Hotel and clean

Free wifi but I was having some bother with a good connection on skype, couldnt get a decent call going. It used to work fine so its either slowed down or I had bother with my iphone.
No bars around the place and not much within walking distance except a chinese restaurant all you can eat Buffet and Burger King. Every room I have stayed in there was no view of the football stadium.Staff are friengly.
There is not many places to stay in this area but it was close to work for me and a nice hotel.

My regular first choice for Heerlen.

A regular stop for me on business. Easy to get to just off the motorway. Located in one side of the stadium and surrounded by various retail outlets. Rooms are modern, clean and well appointed. The restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced, although there is a Subway just next to the hotel entrance if you need to save a bit of spending money. Generally my first choice when staying in Heerlen. For a longer stay, you may prefer to be located in the town where you can wander around the various shops and try different restaurants, but for business, it's spot on.

Bit of a funny location in a stadium, but that means away from a match day the place is quieter and great value for money.

We had a lovely big room, very comfortable, nicely decorated and kitted out.

The breakfast was ok, though we arrived at an unlucky time when there were a number of empty bowls both on tables and the serving bar.

Overall I'd return and recommend others to do the same :D

Only downside is the isolated location being part of the Limburg football stadium and adjacent to a retail park.

Great location next to freeway and several restaurants at walking distance (Chinese buffet, snack bar, Subway, Burger King).

The hotel is brand new (opened in 2010 I believe). The rooms were decent and included HD television and coffee maker. Missing are mini-bar and a clock.

Breakfast was included and was pretty good with decent variety of choices.

We were attending a competition at the Parkstad stadium, which attached to the hotel was an ideal location. he garden centre across th road was good to browse round and wish i had my car then, would hae filled it up. Restaurant in hotel good value and food presentation excellent. Nice chinese round the corner with a few takeaways nearby. Good bus service to location from major areas.

Great hotel,very clean comfortable rooms. Great power shower in a spotlessly clean bathroom.
Excellent buffet breakfast.I would recommend this hotel,and i would stay there again.
The only problem we had was the kettle . The tray that the kettle gets its power from was not working. The first night the staff brought us a drink to the room.
The second night we had to go get a kettle of hot water from the restaurant two floors down. The third night the staff brought a kettle of hot water to the room. Its a pity they just did not replace the unit with a new one. That is the only negative thing I can say about this hotel.

Golden Tulip Parkstad Limburg - brand new!

Beautiful, brand new hotel with amazingly comfortable beds and nice rooms. The free internet was really useful.

Only downside is the location - if you're not from Holland it can be a bit difficult to get to/find. This is probably why it was such good value! However it was the last place available near the PinkPop festival, and they provided a special taxi service to/from the festival which was really helpful!

De bediening was werkelijk om te huilen. Ze stond 20 min in de keuken met de kok te praten toen we haar maar hebben geroepen. Valt veel meer te verdienen met de juiste service. In de vorige vraag staat of we hebben genoten van het gratis ontbijt. Ik heb hiervoor moeten betalen dus verwacht nog wel een credit nota

Drei Zimmer jeweils mit defekter Klimaanlage.
Nach Beschwerde wurde kommentarlos ein mobiles Gerät ausgehändigt. Keine Entschuldigung.
Auf Nachfrage nach einem Ersatzzimmer hieß es kurz, man sei ausgebucht.
In der Dusche wird stark an Wasser gespart - kaum Druck auf der Leitung.
Beim Check-out keine Rückfrage, ob es Probleme gab.
Schade.

Locatie is een grote plus. Service was niet helemaal zoals verwacht (geen typische info werd doorgegeven). Een extra bed was best prijzig per nacht (dus geen slaapbank zoals we dachten). Voor 3 personen krijg je alleen één optie te boeken terwijl er waarschijnlijk voldoende ruimte is voor een extra bed in een gewone kamer. De volgende keer wordt iets anders.
