The overall experience was very positive: friendly staff, central location and a very elaborate breakfast buffet. I just want to convey that I would not recommend room 031: it is right above the employee smoker zone AND the loading dock for goods and services. Noise, and nicotine and diesel smell start early. Note that the room itself was clean and spacious. But it should not be used for guests who appreciate their health and would like to sleep in. Again, this did not disrupt our overall experience of the hotel and Aachen.

Great 3 night stay.

We arrived early and the friendly front of house staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We were checked in and supplied with a cot very quickly. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. There was a free (nonalcoholic) mini bar which was restocked each day, that was a nice touch. We didn’t use the restaurant so can’t comment. Handy onsite parking, although expensive for guests. Bed was large and comfortable - overall very happy.

We were here for a wedding and I chose the hotel for its proximity to the wedding venues (though I was a little scared that I was not reading the maps properly). We were close to the three venues but we did get a taxi to the last venue because of new shoes!

The hotel was wonderful. The staff very friendly and extremely helpful. The food was very good and the breakfasts were delicious. The beds were very comfortable, and the showers were wonderful so all in all a very good choice.

I also loved all the paintings throughout the hotel.

Long weekend in Aachen

Our stay at INNSiDE in Aachen was great. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The shower was a little bit underpowered but otherwise no issues with the facilities. The breakfast buffet in the rooftop restaurant was a highlight - huge food selection and beautiful views! A great base for exploring the city and surrounding area for our long weekend in Aachen.

Modern and comfortable in center of Aachen

Excellent modern hotel in a very central location, perhaps a bit too swish. Excellent views form the rooftop restaurant of the old city of Aachen. Only snag was that air conditioner switched automatically on as soon as I left the room chilling it to fridge-like conditions. A little on the pricey side, but quality and location do justify it.

This was my third time staying at INNSIDE Aachen and it was as wonderful as the first and second time. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet as well as the bar lounge at night. The room was clean with A/C and the premium room is great for the free drinks from water, juices and beer to choose from. When I come to Aachen, I will always stay at INNSIDE because of the friendly staff, good service and convenience of the location.

The staff members were amazing. The free beverages in the fridge in the room were also great and a nice touch. The retro phone gave me a good laugh :D I’d recommend dressing up a little bit for the sky lounge restaurant. I didn’t expect it to be so fancy.

Prima hotel, alleen lagen we net onder 'Uptown', de bar van het hotel op de hoogste verdieping.
Op zaterdagavond wordt hier tot ongeveer half 1 ''s nachts zeer luide muziek gespeeld wat slapen onmogelijk maakt...
Zeer vervelend dat de het hotel zelf zijn eigen gasten op deze manier wakker houdt' 's nachts.

We were a bit shocked to be asked to pay €24 for one nights parking. Luckily the car park was full so we parked outside with no charge. Bedroom although Ostensibly a double room was two beds put together with two small single duvets. When you lent against the back of the bed the bed moved away from the wall. I have encountered this loads in Germany and I have no idea why they do it

We love staying at Innside Achen particularly near Christmas. This is an excellent modern hotel very conveniently located for the city centre and it's markets. And the view from the restaurant is spectacular as is the breakfast buffet.

Perfect for a cheap and short stay

The hotel is in a modern looking building at 10 minutes walks to Aachen Cathedral, main attraction of this old city. Rooms are pretty small, but quiet and functional.

The front and dining staff were very very helpful and friendly… when it came to Cleaning of the rooms it was actually ok .. the bed sheet wasn’t changed every time and make sure if you are in the room to put a do not disturb sign on cuz they come in to check if you need more coffee… they knock once and enter

When I first called about the parking situation, I got a rude young guy on the phone. Parking is on site, not huge, but if you arrive around 6pm, should be no problem. That’s not what he said. Otherwise the rest of the staff I met was very friendly. Feather pillows in the room is a plus. Hotel is nice, and everyone raves about the rooftop restaurant for breakfast. It’s nice. Breakfast is good, not outstanding.

Great hotel, however very disappointed not to have been warned that there were no bar or restaurant facilities open due to private booking.
I would have booked elsewhere had I been told as my circumstances required me to stay within the hotel.

Downgraded reservation.

Booked, and paid for, a superior room but was given a standard. Upon enquiring about the room difference the next day the mistake was acknowledged and we immediately received all the extras (bathrobes, slippers, coffee machine, bottledwater etc.) which were missing. In addition, we were not charged for our on-site parking.

Below standard makes business hotel

I am not sure why this hotel has such a high review rating, for us it didn't make sense. At one point we had no hot water, the rooms are compact (but nicely made out), no mini-bar, or drink making facilities in the room (including drinking water). Breakfast was OK, but took an age to get our coffee and then they kept forgetting how many we ordered. No organge juice just pointing to pashion fruit drink (not really the same). Also be aware there is a 20 euro fee for your dog and 19 for the car. However, the hotel does have some good points, friendly staff, very clean and a good location for visiting Aachem.

Great, Cozy Base-Camp for Hiking & Biking

Absolutely perfect stay! Wonderful location, base-camp for hiking and biking. Walkable to many restaurants, and the best one we ate at was the hotel restaurant itself. And in these odd Corona times, we felt the hotel took great care in providing a safe place to stay, hand disinfectant, etc. Will stay hear again most certainly!

Nice location within walking distance of the Cathedral and Old City. The room reminded me of a room on a cruise ship: great use of space and very practical. With plenty of drawers and storage space, this would be an ideal hotel for a business traveler on an extended stay. The actually \"Free\" waters and drinks in the mini-bar were appreciated! (Apparently refilled daily, although we only stayed one night). The room was nice for a couple, but the bathroom situation might be awkward for \"just friends\" sharing the room: toilet had private door; shower and sink area are open to the main room, so not totally private. Reception at check-in and check-out very friendly, as was the bartender on the the top floor bar.

Only problem is the I paid via hotel.com and can’t now get a receipt so I can charge / invoice work. I need help from hotel.com to issue this receipt but not sure how to contact them. If I can’t get a receipt then I won’t be using hotel.com as I’m out of pocket.

Modern Hotel with nice rooftop bar&resto

Some small problems:we reserved 3 rooms via hotel, but hotel had only reservation for 2. Luckily staff quickly managed to give ysxa 3rd room.
Then we wanted to eat sth in restarant at 14h00. But it was closed; receptiob was not informed.
And i dont find it good everyone can come by elevator from garage to all levels. No card is needed. Especially as extern people are coming to rooftop bar i fond that levels with guest roons shouldnt be opened for everyone.
But restaurant in evening had excellent food!!!!!

Free mini-bar and attached parking great. Breakfast HORRIBLE. Overcooked rubbery scrambled eggs, raw under-cooked bacon, soggy croissants. The arrogant \"Woman-In-Charge\" of breakfast was extremely rude to the less senior waitress. The \"Woman-in-Charge\" reprimanded the less senior waitress for allowing me to sit where I did. I understand German so I new what she was saying. Moral to the story: don't assume someone does not understand the rude things you are saying. Don't pay for or eat the breakfast!

Facilities are modern and well maintained.
TV in English and French as well as German.
Parking is expensive, They provide a paper ticket for entry/re-entry. In a 3 day stay I had to get the ticket revalidated twice due to computer errors.
Breakfast is good, The restaurant lunch/dinner menu has few choices and is quite expensive, but the food and service are both very good. There are several good restaurants close by.

We stayed for a single night in this hotel, and found the location and the room to be good for the price. The room is relatively basic, but modern and comfortable. The free soda and water in the mini fridge is a nice touch, especially for the price. The bathroom is relatively open plan, which is overall nice, except that the steam from the shower leaks into the rest of the room, making it very warm while getting ready in the morning. The hotel is only a short walk through the main shopping district to get to the main sites in Aachen.

Our only complaint would be that, while the majority of the room was clean, the cleaning of the room had clearly been a bit rushed. Upon arrival, we noticed that the toilet had not been cleaned adequately, and mentioned it to the person at the desk on the way out. While we had a very friendly greeting upon arrival, they looked mildly annoyed when asked to send housekeeping to clean the toilet. When we returned that evening, it was clear that no one had come to look at things. While it is a budget hotel, and we thus didn't expect all of the comforts of a normally priced hotel, cleanliness is something that should be expected anywhere. Had the room been attended to, we wouldn't have minded at all.
