Nice apartment - could do with a refresh on the condition of the suite but clean and good value. Very nice host. Walkable to Aachen Dom & old city. Plenty of good restaurants in town and great breakfast spots nearby. Very close to the thermal baths. Overall 8.5 out of 10.

A bit of a walk from the train station, but only 10-15 mins to the center. I stayed in a single room right behind reception and the dining area, surprisingly quiet despite the location and being near the road. One receptionist was super chatty with other guests, so I had to wait a bit to get my luggage back. Room had a fridge, but I wish there was a kettle too. Overall, decent stay.

Each room has an individual AC unit, but these do not cool very well (possibly not at all). If you are going to be in Aachen when the weather is hot (as I was), be aware that the hotel will be quite warm.

The hotel was overall very simple but very good. Also great breakfast. I learned it was recently renovated and indeed the installations were clean and comfortable. Service staff was very nice but I regret the fact I was not able to get the wireless internet connection to work which is not acceptable when you are travelling on business. The hotel was also a little expansive, I think, if you compare with other hotels in Aachen and other cities in the north part of Germany.

Although on a main road, the location of this hotel was very convenient and easy to find, with just a short walk to the centre of town. We did not have breakfast here so cannot judge this aspect but would highly recommend the choice of breakfast sitting outside at the Elisenbrunnen restaurant close to the spa. Back to the hotel - very modern bathroom, good shower. Our room was small but this was to be expected, given its location. Friendly and helpful staff. No issues at all. One other tip for eating out in Aacehn - the Haus am See by the lake in the woods, slightly out of town. Beautiful spot to sit and enjoy some good food and friendly service.

Lousberg was a good choice for our family visiting Aachen. It's walkable distance from the center (10-12 minutes to Markt) though the downside is that parking wasn't easy. We used the hotel's garage which was about a block away. The hotel staff we met were very friendly. Our rooms were on the small side, but perfectly comfortable. There was a bit of traffic noise but not disruptive. Nice breakfast variety and service. We would stay again.

Good, basic hotel about a 15 minute walk straight into the old city. Room was clean and functional. Because the old city is so restricted most hotels are a 5-15 minute walk to town. Excellent if driving because parking is available on the street (with payment, of course). Wireless was a bit sketchy. Staff was helpful. Several small grocery stores nearby.

I booked my stay in Aachen late and this was the only hotel available that was (i) affordable and (ii) within a ten minute walk to the cathedral. Since it was the \"last available hotel\", I was concerned there was something wrong. But everything was fine ... the room was clean and comfortable & the front desk staff was great. That said, the location could have been better: there weren't many restaurants nearby, and it was a trek from the train station.

Hab ein sehr kleines Zimmer im 5. Stock bekommen. Der Aufzug fuhr nur bis zum 4. Nicht schlimm. Weniger schön war, dass die Heizung nicht entlüftet und somit kalt war und die Deckenlampe selbst dieses 6qm Zimmer nicht erhellt hat. Der kleine Fernseher war eine Zumutung. Frühstück sehr gut. Kaffee wurde nach Wunsch und auch mehrmals gebracht.

- im Frühstücksraum lief an der Wand immer ein Fernseher mit Popmusik Videos auf lautlos. Das ist etwas ablenkend. Aus meiner Sicht wäre es schöner, wenigstens während des Frühstücks diesen auszuschalten, da dies eine Art Aufmerksamkeits Räuber darstellt.

Erstmals in diesem Hotel in Aachen, im Douglas Adams Gedenkzimmer. Das Einzelzimmer war recht klein aber brauchbar, das Bad recht neu.

Die Zimmer und auch das Bad sind relativ klein, aber ausreichend. Da das Hotel direkt an der Straße liegt, ist es etwas laut, dafür aber zentral gelegen. Wir haben die eher weichen Matratzen als sehr angenehm empfunden. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet mit frisch gepresstem Orangensaft war sehr gut und ist zu empfehlen!

Im Prinzip waren wir zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Wir brauchten ein Hotel in der Nähe der Wohnung unseres Sohnes, da wir beim Umzug geholfen haben. Und die Wahl fiel auf dieses Weil ein Park direkt vorm Hotel beginnt, was mit Hund praktisch ist. Der Check in und auch der Check out lief reibungslos und sehr freundlich.
Das waren die positiven Punkte.
Als negativ empfanden wir die Größe der Zimmer, gerade mit Hund, das war echt grenzwertig. Man konnte sich nirgends richtig bewegen. Auch der Schreibtisch konnte nicht genutzt werden, da dort der Fernseher stand. Vermutlich weil es ein Hundezimmer war, waren die Tapeten und der Teppich nicht mehr im besten Zustand, aber grundsätzlich war alles sauber, was ja das wichtigste ist.
Die Klimaanlage ist ein Albtraum, wenn sie länger als 30 Minuten an ist, wird das Zimmer zum Gefrierschrank und mit offenem Fenster schlafen ist aufgrund der Straße auch nicht möglich, so bleibt einem nur übrig, wenn man nassgeschwitzt wach wird, kurz die Klimaanlage anzumachen um dann eventuell weiterschlafen zu können.
Ich würde dieses Hotel so nicht mehr buchen, da für mich das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis mit 100 € pro Nacht ohne Frühstück absolut nicht passt, da habe ich schon in deutlich besseren Hotels geschlafen.
Aber trotzdem war es für unsere Situation die vermutlich beste Lösung

Convenient location, easy to come with a car. The street the hotel located on is busy and a bit noisy, but the rest of the area is quiet and nice, with couple of parks nearby (Salvatorberg, Stadtpark).
Room prices are decent, double room is not big, but spacious enough, equipped with AC, TV, a desk and a fridge. Room cleaning service every day.

Bei der Ankunft war ich zunächst etwas erschrocken, über die Außendarstellung des Gebäudes und Parkplatzsituation. Beim Check in wurde mir aber sofort ein Platz in der Tiefgarage angeboten, natürlich Kostenpflichtig. Macht aber absolut Sinn. Leider hat man von der Garage zum Hotel einen kleinen Fußweg von etwa 400m. Ansonsten habe ich mich sehr Wohl gefühlt.
