There was four staff members that made my stay enjoyable. Naomi, Joel and Daniel at the front desk and I lady who always greeted us at the buffet she had a pleasant smile always accommodating. With out those four staff members we would of left and hone to another hotel.

In dire need of a real renovation

Very nice pool and great staff.
Even the “renovated” rooms are very dated, the towels are super thin and some have holes, the food is terrible. Overall, it was ok as it was only for one night and the price was cheap but it definitely doesn’t feel like a 4 star hotel.

We stayed here for an overnight and it was so lovely! There was a view to the sea, private garden, amazing breakfast and pool access. They also give an option of an 'all inclusive' package for only 20 euros more than what we paid originally. The only downside was that instead of a queen, full or king bed, they gave us a room with two singles pushed together. This was slightly uncomfortable, but overall, I would still come here and stay again! 8.5/10 and service and cleanliness 10/10!

We stayed at the hotel 12 nights 27.2 - 11.3 without a car.
Poor location. It's 20-30 mi by bus. The bus stop is close to the hotel.
Overall- This hotel is like a market. They have organized groups; in the period of our stay, they had 800 people. The noise was terrible, in the entire hotel, in public places and in the rooms. U can hear the music and noisy drunk people, and the walls of the rooms are thin, so u can hear the people who stayed next to U. The service was bad , the receptionists had a lot of work, and they were nervous accept Jacobo who was great, gave us good advices, searched for answers on the relevant sites, printed the information for us, and was kind . The overall attitude toward the guests is bad
The room and the hotel was not well cleaned.
It is 4 stars hotel but not really deserve this title. The towels are old and thin, no tissue, no conditioner, no body lotion ect.. no minibar, for the safe they demanded extra pay although it was written that it is part of the room U paid for, no coffee machine or kettle for hot drinks.
Good things: big room. The food was good and varied, although not gourmet. The dinner cost only 14 Euro per person.

This is operated as an inexpensive all inclusive, not well-suited for general hotel guests. It was very noisy and crowded. No coffee in the room or available other than instant from a machine in the lobby or by purchasing a full buffet.

Not a happy client, I'm afraid.

All in all a disappointing experience.
Kind staff at the reception, that is the only thing I would remark positive.
Small lifts to the floors, always crowded and slow.
Very uncomfortable beds. Noisy fan in our first room, a bit better in the second one.
Furniture in side the rooms from 1970's and in a not very good condition.
Noisy nights due to other guests parties in the hotel pub/bar...

Impressive Value, Good Base of Operations

This hotel (which is actually north of Candeleria proper) is a solid 3.5-star accommodation, with on-site spa, fitness, restaurant, bars, swimming pool, laundry service, in-room A/C, safe, terrace, and bidet. It is a bit on the older side, but definitely not run down. The clientele tends to be retirees from Spain, UK, or Germany. The entertainment is geared to this demographic, and is understandably campy. The food, for the most part, is very good! Try the tasting menu, too! It's a small upcharge, and worth it.

The grounds are very clean and the eco-garden and waterfall is actually quite impressive. Plenty of places to lounge around outside. Across the street is access to the sea. A short walk South takes you to the boardwalk and the sea and more black snd beaches.

If you want a drink or a meal offsite, there are lots of good options. There is an ATM right up the street, a 24-hour convenience store right next door, a supermarket a few blocks away (El Mercado) with everything you could need at very good prices. If you must, there is a McDonald's further up the street.

Bus stop is just north of the hotel. Plentiful rental car place.

I personally think this is a great base of operations for a Tenerife adventure. It's easy to get to by bus or taxi or rental car, and it's relaxing and full-featured.

Relaxing break

It's a really nice and clean hotel, perfect for a relaxing holiday. It is true that there is not much to do nearby, however we found a nice bar and Santa Cruz is just a 10-15 min drive away.
The food was good and changed daily( we had half board). I also liked that you could swap the dinner for lunch.
The room was nice and cleaned daily.
The only problem we had was that the room we were staying in was freezing at night. The hotel has no heating(which is understandable) and the balcony door was not closing tight enough to preserve the heat in the room. However the staff gave us spare blankets to keep us warm which was helpful.
The staff are all nice and friendly, and speak english.

Good pool, child friendly but rest to be desired..

The hotel is located in a quiet, non descript residential area with a power station, motorway and cliffs in one direction and a black beach 10 mins walk down a steep hill in the other direction. However, the bus that stops outside takes you to the capital Santa Cruz in 20mins and the quaint town of Candeleria in 10mins. Rooms were noisy (thin walls), I found hairs in my bedding and the floor was dirty. The bathroom was clean with a hot and fairly strong shower. Staff were standoffish but helpful if you persisted. Good sized pool, nice balcony and a club for children but overall not somewhere I would revisit.

Never again....staff v good especially Matibel on reception. There is no way this hotel should be rated 4star. No feel of luxury at all everything very basic, and charged for any extra facilities. Pool chairs v uncomfortable, pool not heated in winter. Wifi v low strength in reception area only. This hotel chain is run by accountants with no regard for the customers or staff (we had reason to use keyboard in reception - it was broken and filthy). We came to the conclusion that this hotel chain have no respect for their clients and want to squeeze all they can get. Would not recommend anyone to stay here . Hard to believe this is the only review.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in January 2010 and the staff were friendly and approachable at the reception. The only difficulty is that it is far from any other places of sightseeing, obviously you would have to get to Santa Cruz to travel to other sightseeing places. Having said that the local buses 122,123,124 run every 15 to 30mins and the bus stop literally 2 secs from hotel on both sides of the road. The rooms are clean and a decent size, generally environment is lively and scenery very good. I stayed on the 9th floor and my room facing the swimming pool and seaside was beautiful .Food was tasty and had a good variety of salads, cold and hot foods to choose from. Entertainment in the evenings were sufficient but started too late on some days.
I expected to see an average of a few young adults or couples as majority were lots of retired and older couples. Its not an ideal hotel for young vibrant people if its all predominantly older couples. Overall services is good

Viaje por negocio a Candelaria un par de días y me aloje en este hotel. Las 4 estrellas que dice tener me dieron confianza antes de llegar pero el fiasco fue tremendo cuando al llegar lo que encontré fue un hotel anclado en el pasado, viejo, sucio y masificado. En recepción pierdes el tiempo esperando a que te toque, poco personal y mucha gente en el hotel ya que trae grupos grandes de ingleses, franceses y del IMSERSO.
Las instalaciones comunes son pequeñas, si quieres sentarte tienes que esperar a que alguien se levante.
Necesita una reforma integral para eliminar detalles rotos, cosas sucias y muy viejas.
Las habitaciones son grandes pero anticuadas y con materiales deteriorados por el tiempo, lo peor es que aparecen de vez en cuando algún bichito cuyo nombre empieza por C.
La comida es de poca calidad, los zumos polvos con agua, el café un tremendo laxante y los licores garrafón del malo.
El todo incluido no es lo que se espera de un hotel que dice tener 4 estrellas. Para el aseo solo encontrarás gel y un champú que te deja el pelo como pincho, si quieres toalla para la piscina prepara 15€ en efectivo para la reserva (nada de cargarlo a la habitación, ni pagar con tarjeta) y si quieres una botella de agua para la habitación tendrás que pagarla, el todo incluido solo incluye subirla en vaso de cartón de algún expendedor que encontrarás en el bar de la entrada.
En general hotel en decadencia al que deberían quitarle 2 estrellas de su fachada y publicación para no confundir

Det bästa med hotellet var nog rummet. Stor och skön säng samt balkong med sittplatser och fin utsikt. Städningen hade kunnat vara bättre då ingen i sällskapet (3 separata rum) fick nya sängkläder när det bäddades på morgonen. Nyckelkorten till dörren gick sönder och fick bytas ca 20 gånger fördelat på tre rum (många turer från nionde våningen)...

Maten var okej. Stort utbud men låg kvalité. Matsalen låg även i källaren vilket kändes som en gammal skolmatsal, stort minus. Snacks baren var under all kritik. Där låg maten öppet på varmhållning hela dagen.

Flera i sällskapet fick även problem med magen sant tre personer fick ren matförgiftning under vistelsen.

I sann all inclusive anda så var ölen lågalkohol och groggen/läsken var lågbudget.

Rekomenderar inte yngre gäster att besöka hotellet då medelålderna var pension och uppåt. Vanligast förekommande nationalitet var britter..

The property is superold!! This is NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL!! We had all inclusive and premium and thanks to this we could enjoy some silence outside the normal fully crowded areas. The building hasn't been renovated since 20 years inside..at least! Cockroaches in the bath room is apparently something you have to count with. No what so ever cozy place in the hotel... beside your own balcony. The hotel photos have probably been taken long time ago.. never coming back to this 3 star hotel.

No puede un Hotel de 4* tener estas instalaciones. Hasta darle 2* sería una aberración. La limpieza en si de la habitación no estaba mal del todo, mi nota es global para el Hotel en sí. El Bufett de desayuno de calidad media a más bien baja. No entiendo realmente una firma como Catalonia puede tener un hotel así con este nivel de deterioro…y menos cobrar la estancia como un hotel de 5*.

De las 4 estrellas le sobran al menos 2, es un hotel para turistas extranjeros tipo todo incluido, las habitaciones y las instalaciones bastante viejas, el aire acondicionado es o marcha o paro, no puedes regular la temperatura, mi habitación encima de las chineneas o de algo de la cocina que hacía que en una 5 planta oliera a comida todo el rato.

El hotel más antiguo y en peor estado que he estado en mi vida. Creo que de las peores habitaciones nunca vistas, rayando lo insalubre. No entiendo que las autoridades permitan tener hoteles abiertos en ese estado y más manteniendo la categoría de 4 estrellas. Nefasto en todos los sentidos excepto el personal que es muy amable y no pueden hacer más.

Dreckiges Hotel und absolut nicht tierfreundlich.
Wir leben im Norden Teneriffas und wollten eine kleine Auszeit mit unserem Hund genießen, es war alles andere als schön. Das Personal war absolut abgeneigt von Hunden, es war nicht möglich während der Zimmerreinigung sich kurz mit dem Hund unten in der Eingangshalle aufzuhalten.
Es gibt keine Klimaanlagen, weder in Gemeinschafts Räumen noch im Speisesaal, von dem schrecklichen Essen ganz abgesehen.
Kakerlaken im Buffet, keine echte Cola, Fanta etc., die allgemeinen Cocktails ein Desaster.
Wir waren wirklich in vielen Hotels und haben keine hohen Ansprüche, aber wer einen schönen Urlaub genießen möchte bucht ein anderes Hotel.

Si vas a trabajar no vayas a este hotel, ruidoso al máximo , la música de la piscina , gente de fiesta que llega durante la noche pegando voces, tuve que llamar a seguridad dos veces. No le encuentro las 4 estrellas por ningún sitio.

No se puede reservar hamacas

La piscina abre a las 9:00 de la mañana pero cuando vas a esa hora hay más de 30 toallas cogiendo sitio en las hamacas pero solo hay tres personas en la piscina y una de las normas de la piscina es la de no reservar hamaca pero cuando te quejas de que no tienes sitio para ponerte no te dan ninguna solución, no se para que ponen normas si después no las hacen cumplir 😡

L'hôtel est une grosse barre dans un horrible quartier un peu délaissé mais pas craignos. Il y avait beaucoup de monde à la piscine, qui était un peu trouble. Piscine surveillée jusqu'à 18 h mais ouverte jusqu'à 20 h. C'est trop tôt quand il fait jour et très chaud en été jusqu'à 21 h 45. Les rues autour ne sont pas intéressantes, avec beaucoup de magasins fermés.

Ha sido una experiencia horrible. La puerta del armario estaba rota, la puerta del baño también, tuvieron que arreglar el aire acondicionado porque no funcionaba. Tenia netflix. Mucho ruido en las habitaciones cercanas. NO repetir y NO aconsejable. Es un hotel de 4 estrellas que no las merece.

Très bon rapport qualité / prix. Nourriture de bonne qualité et variée avec des buffets à thème différent tous les soirs.( sauf les desserts qui ne sont du goût que des anglais) Les boissons sont bonnes également. Piscine pour les adultes très appréciable avec l eau chauffée ainsi que les 2 petites piscines du solarium. Les animateurs sont sympa et parlent tous français. La déco est un peu vieillotte mais c est très propre. Par contre beaucoup d anglais qui n ont pas toujours un comportement respectueux des autres clients... par exemple réservation de transat dès 8h du mat... ou crier dans les couloirs à 2 h du mat... mais dans l ensemble je recommande cet hôtel.

El hotel es muy sencillo, para mi no es 4* ya que he ido a otro en tenerife de 4 y nada que ver. En la habitación se escucha el ruido de las demás. La piscina mucho mas pequeña de lo que parece en fotos y muy poca tranquilidad. Si quieres relajarte en esa pisicina imposible ya que hay muchos niños y gente, los niños hacen lo que quieren en la pisicina y nadie les llama la atencion y las hamacas muy pegadas entre sí. Como no bajes a las 10 de la mañana a la pisicina te quedas sin sitio porque todas están cogidas o reservadas cuando no se puede (segun la normativa)

El hotel está bien, un poco anticuado pero la relación calidad precio es muy buena. La piscina es pequeña y está masificada. Y encima dejan meter colchonetas hinchables. Las hamacas son cómodas. La comida del buffet está bastante bien. Recomiendo el todo incluido. La animación es regular.

Cuando se trata de vacaciones imagino que se estará mejor ,pero personas como yo que voy todos los meses al menos 10 días, deberían tener una planta un poco mas cómoda tanto de ruido como comodidades para trabajar ,siempre pido planta alta y si se puede la ultima ,pero últimamente se lo saltan a la torera este ultimo viaje estado bastante descontento ,imposible descansar por la noche.

Kjempe fint hotell, ansatte og hele pakka:) jeg anbefaler å ikke bo i de nederste leilighetene. Fordi de som er litt øverst er i bedre stand. Dette er et hotell med ingenting rundt så anbefaler ikke å dra om du ikke har bil. Men ellers kjempefint å rolig sted!

Qualunque cosa io possa scrivere nn sarà mai abbastanza per descrivere lo squallore di questo posto secondo loro a 4* ma potrebbe essere massimo classificato come OSTELLO! Stanze piccole arredate male e la maggior parte dell'arredamento è LOGORO! I cassetti dei comodini sono inchiodati! Mattonelle del pavimento che si muovo mentre cammini...pareti sottilissime tanto da far sentire anche la tv dei vicini...nn esistono i bidet...gli imbotti delle porte quasi tutti marci e staccati...LE ANTE DEGLI ARMADI NN SI CHIUDONO...la cassaforte nn funziona...esistono solo 2 prese di cui una per la tv e quindi l'unica utilizzabile è quella del bagno!!! Molti clienti di un arroganza unica e scurrili...nn sono mancati \"rutti\" plateali nei corridoi come neanche nelle peggiori bettole! Per farti lavare la stanza devi lasciare la mancia a quelle delle pulizie. La tv è nuova ma nn esistono canali italiani...tutti ma quelli italiani no! Per parcheggiare l'auto mi hanno chiesto 10€ al giorno quando in zona il parcheggio è gratuito e si trova facilmente. Le piscine sono fredde. In zona per lo meno in questo periodo è quasi tutto chiuso e piove quasi sempre in quanto la zona nord dell'isola è caratterizzata da un clima più instabile rispetto alle zone del sud. Nn è un posto per giovani...

Es hotel esta bien, aunque esperaba algo mas para ser un 4 estrellas. La habitación muy espaciosa, pero se veía muy machacada. la cama grande y cómoda, la tele grande, el baño muy amplio. Pero la orientación no me gusto, le pegaba todo el día el sol a la habitación por lo que creaba una sensación de bochorno muy fuerte, y si que tiene aire acondicionado, pero justo encima de la cama por lo que si lo pones te hielas...........

Très mécontent du transfert de l' aéroport à l'hôtel car il y'a personne pour vous emmené et aucun service n'existe donc obligé de ce débrouiller
J'avais demandé un séjour tous inclus et la surprise avec la quel je me retrouve et que je suis obligé de payer 32€par jours pour avoir le tous inclus.
Je recommande l' hôtel mais pas votre agence

l hotel a signé un papier pour dire que la navette nous a pris pour nous amener vers l aeroport alors qu elle n est pas venue pour nous et qu on a du se debrouiller et payer un taxi hors que cette navette etait deja payee ！Manigance pour que la navette ne nous rembourse pas ！Honteux

A pesar de que es un hotel antiguo esta bien cuidado, le faltaría algo aire acondicionado en el comedor y en bar que está en el vestíbulo. El buffet excelente. Los empleados también muy amables. Habitación amplia.

Kokemuksena melko rauhaton. Ohjemaa oli vaikka minkälaista ja meni mielestäni liiallisuuksiin, että joka ilta Show room pyöri yö kahteen saakka pitäen muutamaa käytävää hereillä. Huoneiden äänieristykset mitättömät, joten korvatulpat olivat tarpeen. Huone itsessään todella epäsiisti, sängyt verrattavissa matkasänkyihin sojottavine jousineen ( tiedä sitten mahtaako riippua huoneista ). Aamupalalla riitti myös ohjemaa, kun yritti päästä ehjin nahoin (ja täysin lautasin) istumaan omalle paikalle tungoksen keskeltä.
