The NH Tenerife hotel, situated in central Santa Cruz, is an 11km trip from Tenerife-North Airport. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk away from the nearby tram and the main shopping street, with plenty of bars and restaurants available nearby.

There are many natural local attractions close to NH Tenerife. The Plaza de España and Tenerife Auditorium are both within 1km.

Teide National Park and Siam Park, a water park, are additional entertainment options for guests. We provide a comfortable selection of soundproof rooms.

All 64 rooms have free Wi-Fi and a comfortable lounge area and some rooms have a queen size bed. Upgrade to one of our larger rooms and make use of the tea and coffeemaker, and the sofa bed.

I arrived in Tenerife by ferry and walked to NH Tenerife. Check-in was efficient, the staff friendly and very helpful. Breakfast at the hotel was very good with many options. The hotel is close to many restaurants and close to the light rail line that goes to San Cristobal de La Laguna. I recommend this hotel and will stay there on my next visit to Tenerife.

City trip to capital.

Very comfortable city hotel before boarding our cruise ship. Staff very friendly and spoke perfect English. Right in the centre of the old town near the plaza de espana perfect. Very christmassy here.

Perfect central location, could not find the car park on first arrival so parked in a multi park 5 mins away at €10 for 24hrs.
Nice room and no issues apart from the bathroom wall and bedroom wall was a frosted window, if any of us went to the bathroom at night and turned the toilet light on it lit up the whole bedroom which was not convient for those asleep in bed.

Great stay in Tenerife

We had a nice couple's stay at NH Tenerife. The room was clean, and we found the service great. The location seemed to be in the main tourist part of Santa Cruz, which was nice for us. Every nearby restaurant was great and didn't feel particularly \"touristy\" (in a good way), though that obviously could've had something to do with the timing of our visit during peak Omicron. Our room was on the top floor, which meant we were directly under the rooftop bar — it wasn't too loud, though. We rented a car for our trip and found a huge paid parking garage just on the other side of the main plaza, a short walk away. The hotel, and area, had everything we needed! Would recommend.

Highly recommend! Awesome location!

Wow! Awesome location! In the middle of all Carnaval action and activities. The front desk staff were exceptional, so helpful and friendly. There was security in the lobby during our stay which was really nice. We walked from the main bus station, where both airport (north & south) buses drop you off. It rained on our last day, so we caught a taxi at the stand around the corner.

Perfect home for carnival

Stayed here for the carnival 2018. One street away from the carnival action, but incredibly central. Of course it was a little noisy at night, but that didn't stop us sleeping, & was worth it to be right in the centre of the action. They had a very sensible door policy during carnival that made us feel safe. NH Hotels are excellent quality for a 3 Star, & this did not disappoint. Great stay - & apologies for leaving so much glitter behind us!

Well located and comfortable

We stayed here for week, wanting to be in the capital rather than a resort. The hotel is very well located in the centre of the city. It is a modern hotel, our second floor room was comfortable with a nice shower room and effective air conditioning which we set at the coldest level. Higher level rooms might give better views but I guess are more expensive. We had breakfast in the hotel on two mornings - these were fine. However there are lots of cafe's nearby that provide a cheap and more basic alternative.
The hotel is on is on a quiet street so we got a good night's sleep despite being in the heart of the city (New Years Eve excluded of course - but don't miss the fireworks!).
All the staff were friendly and the reception staff were especially helpful. Our room was cleaned and tidied to a very high standard each day. We had a problem with a small water leak in the plumbing system of our room on the penultimate day. After checking it, we were offered a different room for the last night, which we took.
Overall, we would recommend staying here, but understand that it is not a tourist hotel complete with swimming pool and gymnasium (as far as I know) as that was not what we were looking for.

Nice hotel and staff but several problems

We had a few issues, a broken air conditioner and a car elevator that made us nearly miss our rental car return and flight. The staff was very nice, although they did not initially offer us anything for the trouble.

Assuming things are working for you, it's a great location and the rooms are nice.

3 days stay

We used this hotel as our base, for half of our stay in Tenerife. It is very good value for money, the staff was excellent, and the breakfast is excellent too. Make sure you have a car and you can drive anywhere on the island during the day. We had some trouble finding parking for the car, but after the first day we just looked for parking further away, just start from north on Av. Francisco la Roche and drive south towards the hotel and get the first spot you find.

Great Hotel

My sister and I stayed here recently and really enjoyed ourselves. The rooms were good, the breakfast great, and the staff superb. Fernando at the front desk was amazing. We had an issue with our rental car which he went far above and beyond to help with. He arranged everything with the car company and made sure we were alright. Extremely friendly, personal, professional and efficient. Thanks Fernando. The hotel was good, but your helpful attitude made our stay great! You deserve a raise!!!

My home away from home in Santa Cruz!

Great staff, excellent command of English language, extremely friendly, polite and accommodating. Room was spotless, everything looks new and in pristine condition, big bathroom, big tub, VERY CLEAN.
TV in the room, air-con also, big beds with firm mattresses. I've had a great, quiet night, absolutely no disturbance of any kind, slept like a baby. Shortly-if I ever come to Santa Cruz de Tenerife again - I will most certainly stay at this hotel! Highly recommended!

Good if not carnival season

Staff was excellent, welcoming and accommodating. Rooms nice. Location is very good IF it is not carnival. Do not come to this hotel during carnival, if you want to sleep. Deafening and dreadful music and continual drum beating that goes on till 6 am. Main stage is nearby. May be okay if you have inside room.

Brilliant hotel

Beutiful hotel in central santa cruz

Beutiful hotel in the very central of santa cruz, just a minute walk for everything. The hotel was really fancy, nice looking room and bathrum, five-star hotel style minibar, glassdoor for the bathrum (without any lock tho), french balcony in the room. Helpful staff and reception, spoke good english, parking under the hotel exists, with a extra cost of 10,70 EUR on weekends and 15 EUR otherwise. Beutiful terrace om the roof with gym equipment and bar/lounge. The parking on -1 was a nightmare, it's a bit tight for a SUV - but not impossible. Overall, really nice hotel!

Food in the hotel very good and cheap, red wine not so cheap.

Nice, clean hotel - on par with any Marriott property. Very friendly staff. I was a bit disappointed because the breakfast was not a plentiful as the last NH that I stayed at, which had a restaurant. However, I still found the breakfast to be quite sufficient - yogurt, variety of pastries, variety of cold cuts, variety of breads, variety of fruits and eggs/omelets could be cooked upon request. All in all, I was very happy with my stay. The area of town is a little questionable, but we did not have any problems. Very good internet. There is a fee for parking at the hotel, but the front desk told us where parking was available for free and that worked out fine for us.

Usual Excellent NH Quality with a Bonus

Hotel was excellent and perfectly located in the centre of town but just off the main high street meaning it was less noisy. Breakfast was amazing and very reasonable, something for everyone. Antonio on reception was truly outstanding and couldn't do enough for us. For example when we asked for directions he didn't just point us in the right direction he walked outside the door and showed us. NH we always find to be exceptional but Antonio really made this hotel stick in the memory and he certainly gave us a reason to return.

Location is perfect if you want to see Santa Cruz. A bit missing view toward the water, but entire Santa Cruz is missing a really good ocean view (too much business there). Hotel very modern and convenient.
Strange parking / elevator, but convenient to park car, but be ready for \"horrible\" smell in the car elevator and parking garage.

initially we agreed with the four star ta rating but the longer into our four night stay the lower this went. hotel is bright, clean, well positioned for restaurants and local travel (two minutes walk to tram stop).surprisingly not noisy. took long time to check in wanting lots of info. (including email address for wifi). offered two types of room and upgrade for fifteen euros (we did and got a much better room with king bed and corner location). two wifi options - basic foc and superior for about ten euros more. I chose basic but, after downloading update system refused to connect again for a 24hrs without paying for the superior option, so had to wait to 5pm the following day. tried connecting in reception, without success, took netbook to local restaurant to download emails. offered half price breakfast at 8 euros - well worth the money. having gone out for the day we returned to find the room serviced but the tea, coffee and milk had not been replenished although reception did organise this. we also found the soap supplied was microscopically small and only lasted one shower so we constantly had to ask reception to replenish this despite requests for the maid to do so. finally the air conditioning in the room took a long time to reach a comfortable level (more than three hours). we did leave a spare key in the master switch by the door to keep it on during the time we were out but this was removed by the maid. a nice hotel on the surface but with annoying flaws

Okay place to stay

Overall the hotel is fine for a stay. Its clean, modern, the rooms are nice and its pretty inexpensive for the quality.
However, if you DON'T speak Spanish and are going to need help from hotel for anything more than checking in to your room--you are in trouble. They barely speak English (at least the two I had interactions with) it was very difficult for them to help me with navigating questions or anything else. It was very frustrating as I was driving a rental car and Santa Cruz can be difficult to navigate for the tourist in a car. If you speak Spanish this place is going to be just fine.
Breakfast incredible expensive, go to a cafe next-door.

can't really fault anything about this hotel. The hotel is located in a very central location. So it s walking distance to restaurant, shops and sightseeing ... the breakfast is soooo fresh with fresh orange, apple, carrot juice. The spanish salami was a delight and coffee was actually surprisingly good!!

Excellent Hotel

The NH Tenerife is an outstanding hotel. The front desk staff was very helpful. Room furnishings are new and in excellent condition. Location is convenient - walking distance to many restaurants, waterfront, and shopping. The parking garage was full, but we were able to find free parking on the street. Free wireless available in the lobby in 30 minute increments. I highly recommend the hotel.

Up to the American Standards!

The staff were young, enthusiastic and spoke good English (unusual in Spain!). The hotel and room had comtemporary style, clean, and quiet. I needed a taxi early in the morning and was afraid that I might not get one as it would be a Saturday and the Spaniards were known not liking to work in early morning, especially on the weekend. But the staff reserved a taxi for me for 5:30 a.m. I normally stay at 4-star+ hotels. I took a risk and booked this one and it turned out to be a good one. If someone wants to have a quiet stay, smooth service and save some money, this 3-star hotel beats the 4-star European hotels! All in all, it meets the American standards!

This was a very good hotel. The room was nice and cozy. It was not too small or so large that I felt uncomfortable. The cleaners stayed on top of the rooms making sure that if service was required, you would receive it. The location of the hotel was excellent as it was one street over from one of the pricipal plazas during the Carnaval. many convenient restaurants, bars and such were relatively close and the bus station was a 5 minute walk. This was a choice selection.

Veldig bra beliggende hotell. Stille. Likte at hotellet ikke er så stort, så frokosten var lite stress. God frokost. Hvis jeg skal bemerke noe negativt, så har badet glassvindu vendt mot sengen, som gjør at man våkner når partner må skru på lyset for toilettbesøk om natten. Hotellet kan med fordel spikre vinduet med en dekkende plate.

Wir wurden an der Rezeption total freundlich empfangen und es wurde zuerst gleich einmal geholfen den Parkhauseingang mit dem Auto zu finden. Großen Lob, der netteste Rezeptionist den wir jemals in einem Hotel hatten!!

Ruhiges Zimmer obwohl man mitten in der Stadt ist, super gute Restaurant in kurzer Fußstrecke.
