Breakfast menu is vey comprehensive, with hot items cooked to order. Lovely large comfortable dining area overlooking views to the outside.
Hotel has the front, cruise docking area, shops, many delightful bars and restaurants within a short walking distance.
Rooms are well sized and cleaned, and all staff are welcoming. Roof bar and pool a bonus, also serves a wide variety of drinks, cocktails and food to order.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We arrived at 2am and they expedited check in to allow us to get to our room. They also agreed to hold our luggage once the airport found it until the end of the cruise even though we were not staying with them at the end of the cruise. Exceptional customer service! Great location in Tenerife as well!

Impossible to park!

Not a great experience if I’m honest. Firstly you can’t drive there easily. In fact the reception gave me direction to a pharmacy to be able to find it. I booked it because it had a pool and parking. When I arrived the pool was out of order and I was told that I could only park my car if it was the smallest car you could hire. The parking is so tight that even the receptionist said she would never park in there. We were charged 15 euros a night for parking in a place you would struggle to call adequate under anyone’s imagination. We came to the hotel at night and there is no key entry so had to ring the bell 8-9 times and wait 10 mins for a receptionist to come and let us in. On our first night we were kept up with loud music and people shouting in the street below. This certainly wouldn’t be first choice of hotel for this area.

The hotel is lovely and the rooftop terrace and pool are amazing with views of the city . The room is very nice quite spacious and modern . We had a lovely view of the harbour and sea from our window .
The only negative is the car park which is awkward to find and I actually got stuck trying to manoeuvre around columns.

AC Tenerife Marriott - an excellent hotel

Our three nights stay at the AC Tenerife Marriott was fantastic especially the breakfast where you could help yourself to a good selection of food, including freshly cooked eggs of your choice. The roof top area, including the bar, was lovely.

There is nice blend of intimacy and ease with great staff service. I noticed a guest arriving who required quite a bit of attention and really put the staff member through some work. When all was done, it appeared that the guest was expecting valet service and the staff member took it upon herself to walk the guest to the elevator which was above and beyond what she was expected to do.


Only critique, I originally booked a king size bed and discovered two twin size beds. I didn't make a big deal about it as it was during the carnival time which I imagine is very busy

Let’s get the negative out in the open first! Yes you can hear all the street noise and music playing. I stayed here during Carnival, and it was loud! It also continued til 6am. That said, the hotel did email me in advance about the noise, so it was my choice to stay. I’m glad I did, Santa Cruz knows how to party! The hotel even provided glitter beads so I could join in the experience. Yes, the hotel could do with some secondary glazing but that’s the only negative I have. It is a lovely hotel. immaculately clean, really friendly staff, and spacious well kept rooms and public areas. It was worth paying the €12 for breakfast, plenty of choice and tasty. The rooftop bar was excellent, both for drinks and lunch. There was Nespresso coffee in the room and at breakfast which is a big plus for me. Would I stay here again? Definitely!

Lovely hotel with friendly staff in a central location (right by Plaza de Espana), nice rooftop pool (with good views of the city) and a great rooftop bar, serving restaurant food in a nice relaxed setting. The food and cocktails/drinks was of great quality and very reasonably priced (especially for a hotel!). The young ladies at the reception desk who served me when I checked in were lovely and very friendly, despite me arriving a bit confused because of my autism, they showed me directly how to get to my room and one of them visibly walked to the lift to show me where to go! Santa Cruz is a lovely city which I much preferred to my stay in Puerto de la Cruz. The lido and botanical gardens is amazing and the city has a great metro service (which goes all the way to the beautiful city of La Laguna). The lovely beach of Playa de las Teresitas is only a 10-15 mins drive away by taxi (only 4 miles!) and has golden sand imported from the Sahara and great mountain views. When I checked out, one of the friendly ladies who checked me in asked me what I thought of my stay and I had nothing but praise. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in a centrally located hotel in Santa Cruz!

This hotel is beautiful! It is beautifully decorated. The staff is amazing and super helpful. The hotel is in the center of everything, right next to restaurants and stores and within walking distance of museums and parks. The rooftop bar with a pool is a wonderful bonus. Staff was friendly, but forgetful. When asked to make reservation for extra early taxi to airport, it was left undone. The early morning take-away breakfast which was offered for the early departure was also forgotten. Out of the three days of our stay, two days of housekeeping was not done. We had to ask for towels, because the maid didn’t show up. Disappointing for a 4 star Marriott.

Clean modern hotel in a central location in Santa Cruz. Can’t fault the rooms, cleanliness, location or the breakfast.
Where they fell short was the service. The service is polite, but very slow. Although 2 staff were at check-in desks, only one was working. It took a long time to check us in as there was a short queue and the service was slow. This wasn't great as we were already tired after a very early start setting off from London, especially for my kids. When I asked the second lady if she could help us check in, she said she wasn’t working and that we had to wait for her colleague to become available. This is pretty unusual for a 4-star hotel. Also, the bar on the roof terrace where the splash pool is doesn’t open until 1pm and there are no food or snacks on offer outside of lunch hours. Considering the pool is open it’d be great to be able to order drinks and snacks. Overall a really good hotel that can do much better if they improve service levels.

We arrived early after getting off the cruise ship, we had asked for an early check it, but they were full, so we had breakfast and then sat up on the rooftop. We got a room at 2pm, which was a long wait for such a small hotel.
Also the bar upstairs didn’t open until 1.30pm.

There is a lovely roof terrace and pool. However, drivers beware that the hotel's car park is unavailable to guests as it is \"too small\" according the hotel's staff and they recommend you park 800 meters away from the hotel.

Lovely hotel with great service and English peaking staff in the centre of Santa Cruz. Could not ask for a better location.

The only grumble I have is that two paper cups placed out for self-service tea/coffee in my room were dirty. They both had traces of a dark liquid (chocolate or coffee) in them and one had a pubic hair, which is disgusting. Also, housekeeping only emptied the bin once in three days.

The hotel was very well located for my stay. Staff were very friendly. Roof top bar and restaurant were excellent; the octopus and hamburger were fantastic! My only complaint was that it took over 30mins in the checkout line as there was only one staff member - there should be a fast check-in option. I was late to my meeting because of this.

Nice new hotel in Tenerife North

The hotel was very new. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The pool has a good view, the bar was amazing!

I found all the staff - (especially John who handled my check in and all my follow up questions throughout my stay) were GREAT! Very friendly and eager to help. All made me feel welcome and addressed all my concerns - especially helping me schedule a COVID test and getting the results printed and delivered to my room along with following up with an email to me.

Michelle de la recepción nos recibió con muchísima alegría, es muy simpática igual que el resto de personal. Las habitaciones son muy bonitas y están súper bien insonorizadas ya que teníamos el sky bar arriba y tenían música puesta dado que había fiesta y en la habitación no se escuchaba nada. El desayuno estaba riquísimo, había de todo y tenían hasta take away de cafes. Un hotel en el centro precioso.

Not a luxury hotel, but a very good one. Rooftop bar with a dj on weekends. Good breakfast with enough variation, fresh fruits, spanish omelette, eggs, natural yoghurt with muesli, etc and a very decent price. We didn’t have a view, only the light pit, but it meant that the room was quiet. The gym is tiny, but rooms quite big.
