Das Hotel ist alt und heruntergekommen. Die Möbel sind stark abgenutzt. Laut und sehr hellhörig. Den Schlüssel muss man immer an der Rezeption abgeben jeder könnte kommen und ihn nehmen / abholen. Sehr unsicher

El hotel está muy céntrico, puedes acceder a el caminando, tienes restaurantes, tiendas y zonas turísticas muy cerca. A 10min de la playa las teresitas en autobús, a 5min a pie del mercado nuestra señora de África. El hotel bastante limpio, la habitación bastante amplia. pensaba que no iba a tener limpieza en la habitación pero resultó que si. Tiene una neverita pequeña para colocar cositas de refrigeración, agua caliente, cama super cómoda con almohadas cómodas también.

Just stayed one night before getting airport bus. Great central location & had room overlooking a courtyard so quiet at night. Desk staffed 24/7. Room clean & comfortable with ceiling fan & fridge. But no hair dryer & only 1 big & 1 small towel in a double room ( booked for 2) and no breakfast available ( although I think they would deliver something to your room).

I like the fact that Santa Cruz is a real city where local people live and work and go to school, and not only for tourists; a good mix.

I wanted to iron a shirt and was surprised to learn that they did not have a single iron anywhere in the hotel.

As advertised, the 8th floor apartment was clean and spacious with an incredible view from the large windows and the corner balcony. The four of us slept well in the queen bed and 2 single beds that we requested. The staff was especially helpful in assisting us with checking-in later than we had anticipated.

Part of our stay I was on my own (husband in hospital) and I felt very comfortable and safe here. Everyone very friendly. Although furniture was very tired and on the small side it was very clean and the water always very hot. The fan on the ceiling hardly made a change as not much air gets into the room, an air conditioning unit would be perfect. But, for the price we paid we couldn’t really complain.

Wifi not working. Window unusable as there was a disgusting canvas shade a few inches outside, which stank of smoke so strongly it filled the room. Hence zero ventilation and no aircon. Also no access to terrace as claimed. No fire safety information in the room. Very dodgy electrics, eg. Appliances requiring an earth fitted to two-pole sockets, RCDs rated at 220v rather than 230v. I know it's cheap, but just don't bother

Conveniently located for walking to shops in the beautiful Tenerife capital. Hotel needs refurbishing. Everything worked ok. We stayed in January when temperature only 21’C but still found the room very hot despite having the window open. There was only a ceIling fan which was ineffective Temperature in Summer can get to 40’C so A/C essential. Bed was very hard. No toiletries- bring own. Wi-fi was useless even on roof terrace 100 m from a mobile phone tower. Download was 0.2 Mb and basically did not work. Staff friendly. Breakfast included was adequate but are plenty nearby cafes including a smart McDonalds

We were on the 5th floor and there was a lot of street noise that kept us up most of the night. Beds were not comfortable. No parking. No shampoo in the shower or cream rinse. Just a crummy place!!

Surprisingly good for modest price

I only booked Atlantico when I arrived in Santa Cruz, and it was the only hotel available in the centre. Although not 4 star, the hotel was very good for the modest price. The room was a good size, the breakfast, the open area on the 6th floor, and the wifi were all good. The location couldn't be better.

Paper thin walls, no internet in room, no toiletries supplied. Nice area in centre of town, and breakfast on the roof terrace was good. Credit card machine didn't accept foreign (non-Euro) cards, had to pay in cash. Staff were friendly though.

Great location, amazing breakfast and friendly staff make this a good choice if you want to be in the centre of Santa Cruz at a very reasonable price. This is not a chain hotel and the rooms are quirky and not the height of fashion, but the space is good, shower was hot and powerful, bed could have been more comfortable but was fine for a couple of nights.
The terrace on the eighth floor where breakfast is served is lovely and peaceful, there is free WiFi available here all day.

Nice hotel on a shopping street.

Nice hotel, clean and well decorated room and outside it. Staff were polite, helpful and spoke English. Roof top where breakfast is served has a good view. Hotel on a shopping street, restaurants, ferry, sightseeing bus point very close. €20 by taxi from the hotel to the South Airport.

What l didn't like:

No Wi-fi in rooms.

The bed was very uncomfortable with an over used mattress. Wire or Springs sticking out and into the body. Felt back pain from 3 days of sleeping on it. I even had to turn the mattress over. It made no difference. I dreaded going to bed.

Noise till very late from shopping street comes into the room.

Charming hotel in the heart of Santa Cruz

Hotel Atlantico is simple, no-frills city hotel at wonderful location in the main pedestrian street of Santa Cruz. I particularly liked the roof-top terrace on 8th floor of hotel with amazing views of the city and the Atlantic ocean. Lady who served breakfast was lovely and so sweet to all guests, she remembered what each guest preferred to eat and what kind of coffee guest likes. Hotel is definitely excellent value for money deal.

A modest city centre hotel at a great price. Nice terrace on the roof for breakfast. I was given a compact double instead of just a single, pleased with that. I visited on marathon weekend (not that I ran it!): three minutes jog to the start line.

Very comfortable, central, and lovely staff.
South-facing roof terrace for breakfast and open for reading all day. Only tables and chairs, though - not a place to sunbathe. Rooms facing the street can be noisy; mine was at the rear, and had no view - I couldn't even see daylight.
The breakfast was disappointing - cheap white bread for toast, tinned fruit, carton orange juice and gluten-free yoghurt, although warm hard-boiled eggs were nice. Breakfast is served from 7.30 'til 10.00, and charming waitress service. Everyone was very quiet and respectful, mostly reading the papers. Most people seemed happy with the food, I should add.
I had a lovely stay, and could smoke in the room if I wished.
Santa Cruz doesn't attract British tourists - a few Germans, but mostly Spanish, and mostly singles at this hotel. A large single room with a double bed is a luxury. Cold drinks available from reception 24 hours, but no coffee-making facilities, so take a travel kettle if you need to.
Overall, a lovely stay.

You get what you pay for

I will start my review by saying that this is clearly a budget hotel. For the price you get a decent room, maybe a little smaller than I'm used to, but it was fine for a 1-Bedroom. The room itself wasn't dirty, but very outdated, and there were mirrors everywhere (Clearly to give the impression the room was larger) but it was still cozy. The location of the hotel was great if you're looking for a hotel right in the city-center, although the downside of this was the fact that on the weekends it tends to get very loud, so my advice is to bring a pair of earplugs with you, as for myself, without them I wouldn't have been able to sleep during the final nights of my stay. Moving onto the service, the personnel were very helpful and kind, great service! The breakfast was a highpoint, the views are really great (rooftop terrace breakfast) although the breakfast choice wasn't very vast (I had coffee/hot chocolate+toasted sandwhich+egg+fruits+yoghurt+juice). Finally let me just say that GOOGLE MAPS' location of this hotel is completely wrong, I actually had to go around and ask local shops where the hotel was because google maps said it was 3 blocks away... It's actually located a few steps away from McDonalds near the \"Plaza de Espana\". Did I enjoy my stay? Sure, it's not a hotel where I'd want to stay the whole day, it's just a place where you sleep. Do not plan on visiting this hotel if you plan on staying inside it the whole day, the city has a lot to offer.

Lo único, deben publicar un número de teléfono para contactar antes de la llegada, por ejemplo para informar hora aproximada de check-in, o preguntar si se puede ampliar la estancia, etc. Llegar así a ciegas, sin poder contactar por teléfono, porque no lo cogen, puede ser una experiencia un poco desoladora. Recuerden que a algunos huéspedes, principalmente mayores, nos gusta más una rápida respuesta al teléfono que enviar un mensaje en la plataforma, que llegará, y contestarán a tiempo, a lo mejor... o no, como fue el caso esta vez.

En realidad, me encuentro disconforme con el trato recibido por parte de Expedia debido a la falta de atención hacia el problema con mi reserva.

El 19 de octubre de 2025 realicé una reserva para los días del 2 al 4 de noviembre de 2025, por un importe de 125,10 €, y se me asignó el número de itinerario 73278621184604.

Por motivos médicos —que fueron la razón principal de mi viaje y estadía en Santa Cruz de Tenerife—, el 22 de octubre tuve que adelantar mi viaje y, en consecuencia, modificar mi reserva en el Hotel Atlántico Centro, ubicado en la calle Castillo 12, Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Realicé la modificación directamente desde la interfaz de la página web, sin inconvenientes, cambiando la estancia a las fechas del 27 al 30 de octubre.

Sin embargo, en lugar de cobrarse únicamente la diferencia correspondiente a un día adicional, se me realizó un nuevo cobro por 192,60 €.

Tras notar esta situación, comencé a comunicarme con Expedia. El personal me informó que estaban intentando contactar con el hotel, pero que no habían logrado respuesta y que no podían gestionar el reembolso, pues éste dependía del establecimiento. Al llegar al hotel y explicar el caso, me confirmaron que nunca recibieron el pago correspondiente a la primera reserva y que el reembolso debía gestionarlo Expedia.

Por todo lo expuesto, solicito que se proceda al reintegro del importe cobrado indebidamente a la mayor brevedad posible. Agradezco de antemano su atención y pronta respuesta.

This is a very simple hotel! However it is very good value for money. The location is superb. But it is very noisy, with a lot of street noise.....no double-glazing on the windows. The TV didn’t work, breakfast was VERY basic. But the personnel were super kind and friendly and I enjoyed my stay.

Centralt beliggenhed på en gågade. Det tager ca. 20 min. at gå fra busstationen til hotellet.
Hotellet er helt OK. Ældre dato og slidt men rent og pænt.
Et stort plus er den fælles tagterrasse på 8.etage med byudsigt.
Vi nød meget at sidde der sen eftermiddag/aften og få et glas medbragt vin/øl.
Der serveres OK Continental morgenmad på tagterrassen.
Der kan være noget gadestøj til kl. 22. Derefter er der ro.
