A beautiful stay, excellent food and accommodatio.

Member of Staff who checked us in was a little surly. Didn’t make us feel particularly welcome.
The younger member of Staff who checked us out was very friendly, thanked us for our stay etc.

High hopes but sadly didn’t live up to expectation

We reserved a superior double room, money paid on arrival to our dismay we given a basic room with a terrible smell in the bathroom. After refusing to accept we were eventually shown to a larger room, which was rather dingy and dark and no resemblance what so ever to the hotels publicity. However, the receptionist was polite and charming and no blame to her for the hotel over booking, though it didn’t feel full? The first two nights we had excellent food in the restaurant absolutely no complaints. However the third evening! I was served prawn carpaccio which was so salty it was inedible and my main course of creamy seafood on rice, was again over salted rice with raw prawns on top and a teaspoon of cream. It was absolutely disgusting and I sent it back no alternative was offered! So I went hungry, raw prawns on hot rice, a recipe for tummy upset that is if you were brave enough to risk eating it. I think they need to sack the chef who was cooking dinner that evening. It is such a shame the sloppy management of what could be a really good business. The grounds and building are really nice we had high hopes of our stay. Please be honest about your rooms don’t down grade and then try to pass it off as what was reserved. Don’t serve raw seafood unless clearly stated on the menu.

A great stay

We have stayed before pre Covid and loved it so went back just for a relaxing quiet night during our stay in Puerto de la Cruz.
Restaurant food was very rich, fresh and excellent. My only criticism was the orange juice at breakfast it tasted like it was made from powder! Lovely fresh produce, cheese, meats, fruit, bread etc.
We had an unexpected guided tour through the gardens and part of the Rural which was fantastic.
There are functions such as weddings at the weekend so if you plan to go for a night I would avoid just incase.
The English translation does say an indoor pool but in Spanish it does correctly state it is an outdoor pool.

The approach to the hotel and the main entrance were very impressive, the hotel completely fulfilled our expectations and the staff were generally very polite, friendly and helpful (with the exception of just one member of staff who was not quite as good as all the others). The restaurant and meals were extremely good and also good value for money and the extensive grounds were very attractive. Altogether we had an extremely pleasant stay and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others.

The Room was ok. The bathroom could use a little updating but the room was at a great price, and offered exactly what we wanted. Somewhere not too large but still with a restrurant and buffet breakfast. this fitted the bill perfectly and the breakfast was delicious. the staff were very helpful and the maids even put the oranges we bought in to a fruit bowl for us. The Hotel itslef is in a greta location - very quiet but really accessible and overall we had a fantastic honeymoon. Highly recommened

Didn’t overly enjoy the meal in the restaurant not very hot, quality poor.

A place where you want to stay again

Beautiful hotel, well maintained, in former avocado plantation. The avocado trees are still there. Very good location for exploring the less crowded parts of Tenerife. Friendly staff, excellent restaurant. We never go back to a place where we've stayed before, but Finca Salamanca is an exception.

A calm and relaxing stay

The hotel is something of a hidden gem Turning off the road you do not quite expect the green oasis of calm and comfort. It is a rambling collection of buildings, well settled into their context but attractively modernised and adapted, with the newer buildings fitting well. Inside and outside blend in a relaxed and comfortable whole.

Rural timeless experience

This hotel is not in the tourist area of Tenerife however if you wish to experience the true hospitality and culture of Tenerife I would highly recommend a stay in this hotel with its well furnished rooms and lovely gardens.
The restaurant is also of a high standard with a good selection of dishes for both dinner and breakfast.
We only stayed one night but would happily stay there again.
If you want to stay in an authematic finca this would be my choice.
One tip please rmembers to ask reception for the TV controls they are not in the bedroom.

Oasis of calm

We don't like big white hotels in resorts, offering facilities such as gyms and entertainment that we don't use. This place was perfect for us; restful and quiet amidst large, beautifully kept gardens.
The rooms had small windows but were were well lit, with a very pleasing reading light, that made reading in bed easy. You have to hire a safe key and pay a deposit on the remote control, and ask if you want a hair dryer, all of which was slightly irksome. There is no wi-fi in the rooms, only in the reception area, and no kettle etc..
The staff were all exceedingly friendly and helpful, especially in phoning the Mt Teide cable car company for us when we had a problem.
The food in the restaurant was delicious, though always served on cold plates, which on January's chilly evenings, meant the food wasn't hot for long. The menu was extensive enough to keep us busy for 6 nights trying different things, and was partially changed during the week.
There is nowhere else really to eat within walking distance, but we didn't want to anyway. A car is essential here.
Do visit the Pyramids of Guimar park nearby, if you like history, geology and botany. We nearly didn't, and were so glad we went and spent a happy two hours relaxing there on the last day.
We would be very happy to come back and stay at this hotel again.

Good for r&r

This is a small hotel (20 room or so) in a rural setting. It was an old avocado farm. Extensive grounds in which to explore and get lost amongst the cacti and succulents. The town, Guimar, is genuine - for the locals.

The restaurant was first class offering tenerifean dishes. The service was first rate and very friendly.

We were looking for somewhere to relax and recharge our batteries. This hotel was an exceptional choice. We will be returning.

Nice quiet hotel

Quiet hotel: no 'entertainment' - no karaoke, no loud music - bliss. The hotel is not in a 'resort' area which was what we wanted.
Beautiful gardens: more extensive than you first realise. We found different bits on different days. Lovely.
Good location: If you hire a car to explore the island it is a good location. Good road up to the volcano (very wiggly but then all the roads up are). Only five minute easy drive to the main ring road. I don't know what it would be like to stay here without a car as we had one. You couldn't really walk much from the hotel. We did walk into the local town one day to the supermarket (ask at reception first as it's not obvious where it is).
Reception staff were all excellent at English - restaurant staff weren't as good but certainly adequate for our needs as the menu is in English.
Posh evening meal food (and the price to go with it) but delicious.
We stayed in a 'Junior suite' which had a ?king size bed, bathroom, lounge and balcony. I think the slightly cheaper rooms may just be a bedroom. We loved having the lounge to sit in after it got dark outside, it feels more like home than existing in just a bedroom like some hotels. The sofa was comfortable which almost seems like a point not worth mentioning but I have been extremely disappointed staying in many hotels by uncomfortable sofas. Private balcony looking onto trees.
If we went back to Tenerife we would definitely go back to this hotel - wouldn't need to think about it.

Last night in Tenerife

We spent the last night of a seven day break here. We wished that we had booked it for the whole trip rather than staying in Las Americas. Fantastic location amongst the Hills, lots of private garden areas, terraces and seating to get away from it all and read a book. makes a good central point for visiting all of Tenerife. Staff could not have been more helpful. We ate in the hotel and had a lovely meal washed down with Tenerife wine.

Das Hotel liegt in einem wunderschönen, gepflegten Park und ist ruhig. Das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen, auch wenn sich die Karte während unseres einwöchigen Aufenthalts nicht änderte. Wir haben dort die erste Februarwoche verbracht und dafür war es einfach im Zimmer und auch in den übrigen Hotelräumen zu kalt. Die Zimmer können nicht beheizt werden! Die Suite, die wir gebucht hatten, bestand im Grunde aus einem großen Zimmer, das recht dunkel und sehr kahl und nüchtern eingeräumt war. Im Zimmer fehlte auch ein Kaffeeautomat.Die Beleuchtung war zum Lesen nicht ausreichend.
Es ist ein sehr schön gelegenes und insgesamt durchaus empfehlenswertes Hotel, man sollte es jedoch nicht im Februar buchen, da es dann zu kalt ist. Im Zimmer konnten wir abends nur mit Anorak sitzen.

It was such a surprise to come to this estate, we hadn’t expected such a beautiful place. We understand The house is an old mansion. Surrounded by trees and plants. The room was nice with a terrace were you can relax. The pool area is nice and clean.
The restaurant was high class , the food was excellent, the breakfast buffet was served in the same restaurant.
Some minutes with car you are at the beach in Puertito de Guimar.
We would love to go back to this place, our stay was too short.
The only thing is that you probably need a car for your stay.

Super Hôtel Rural, très agréable de voir cette nature tout autour, le restaurant est vraiment bien. Le personnel est très gentil, vous ne regretterez pas cette découverte. Piscine , petits déjeuners, calme et restaurant délicieux. allez y c'est une bonne expérience.

Das wifi ist eine Zumutung- und das dann mit der Lage zu begründen wie es die Managerin getan hat ist peinlich.
Und dass man für den Safe eine extragebühr zahlen soll ist auch nicht mehr auf der Höhe der Zeit
Schade, mit wenigen kleinen Maßnahmen könnte man das Hotel mit etwas mehr Engagement zu einer Perle machen

El horario del check in es excesivamente tarde (15 horas) y el del check out excesivamente temprano (11 horas). Si vas por una sola noche y haces cálculos, no te han permitido estar en el alojamiento ni las 24 horas de un día.
Creo que el cliente tiene derecho a sus 24 horas de estancia.

Petit havre de paix dans un écrin de nature

J’ai séjourné dans cet hôtel 3 nuits pour le travail.

Les chambres sont très spacieuses, indépendantes, j’ai même eu une terrasse et un accès au jardin. Le cadre est top (vue montagne d’un côté, océan de l’autre, et sur les pyramides de Guïmar!)

Il y a de très beaux espaces (piscine, jardins….) très reposant, surtout après une grosse journée de travail.

Le restaurant, sur place, est délicieux aussi bien pour dîner que pour le petit déjeuner,

Mais surtout, le personnel est ADORABLE. Adaptable, serviable et tellement attentionné!

Gros coup de cœur, je voyage très souvent seule et être dorlotée et chouchoutée par l’ensemble de l’équipe comme j’ai pu l’être pendant ce séjour ne m’était jamais arrivé.

Je recommande chaudement cet établissement.

Rustig gelegen accomodatie.
Is zeker wat betreft de kamers aan verfrissing toe. Ontbijt was te ééntonig zeker als je er meerdere dagen verblijft. De verlichting in het restaurant is te fel wit licht en is niet gezellig om te eten.
Positief was het personeel die zowel in het restaurant als voor het ontbijt steeds zeer vriendelijk en gedienstig waren.
Prijs kwaliteit was dit hotel goed te noemen.

Hotel auf einer Finca inmitten von Obstbäumen.

Die Finca Salamanca ist ein sehr ruhiges und schönes Hotel ganz im spanischen Stil und mit einem hervorragenden Restaurant. Leider ist die Auswahl auf der Speisekarte etwas klein, wechselt nicht aber das spüren nur Gäste die länger bleiben wollen. Auch mit dem Warmwasser hat das Hotel seine Mühe, etwas was man aber verbessern könnte. Im weiteren verfügt das Hotel über einen sehr grossen und kostenlosen Parkplatz. Ohne Auto ist man aber hier am verkehrten Ort und weit weg von einem Strand. Fazit: Gut geeignet fürs Wandern und für Gäste die gerne gut Essen und ihre Ruhe haben wollen.

Zimmer im großen Garten

Wir hatten als Paar die sehr schöne und große Junior Suite gebucht. Schlafzimmer, Wohnzimmer und Badezimmer. Auf der Veranda vor der Suite kann man wunderbar sitzen und bei klarem Wetter bis Gran Canaria blicken und den Sonnenaufgang oder die Abendstimmung genießen.
Ein sehr entspannte Finca Anlage in einem sehr schön gestalteteten großen Garten oder besser Park, in die man nach Ausfügen gerne (nach Hause) zurückkommt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut.

Ideal für Ausflüge nach Santa Cruz, La Laguna und über die sehr gut ausgebauten Serpentinen im Nordosten von Güimar durch phantastische Landschaften zum Teide.

Auch in direkter Nähe sind die Pyramiden von Güimar und nördlich an der Küste von Puertito de Güimar die Lavalandschaft des Malpais de Güimar sehenswert.
Über die Autobahn ist eigentlich alles schnell zu erreichen.
Sehr feundliches Personal: Zimmermädchen, Gärtner/Hausmeister und Rezeption!

El sitio es ideal, muy tranquilo y relajante. La piscina está muy bien, y el entorno inigualable. Si quieres desconectar es perfecto para ello. Además, con coche estás muy cerca de todo!

Havre de verdure et de calme.

Très belle maison au goût très sûr, dans un superbe et grand jardin de cactus. Excellent accueil et chrambre très spacieuse. Buffet petit-déjeuner top aussi. Un sans-faute. Proximité charmant village de Guimùr est très appréciable pour l'apero sur la place de l'église.
