The staff was very friendly during check in and took the time and care to explain everything to us. They even upgraded us which was icing on the cake. The staff greeted us whenever we leave or come back to the hotel. Breakfast was really good, it had all the basic cold and hot selections. Hotel is like 5-10min walk to the interlaken OST train station. Would definintely stay at Carlton Europe Vintage Adults hotel again when i visit interlaken again.

The cutest, quaintest, vintage hotel! It has so much old school charm, and the place felt right out of the late 60’s but still modern. This was an absolute amazing random choice we made to stay. Plus the free breakfast had plenty of hot and cold items to choose. Loved our stay!

Unfortunately, we did not get to enjoy this property, even though I had chosen it after much research and was really looking forward to our stay. On the morning of our check-in, I was contacted and told that our room had been damaged and that we could no longer stay there. While the hotel did arrange for us to stay elsewhere, it felt like they simply moved us along without much care for how disappointing this was. We were given no real choice, and if we had been notified earlier, we would have looked for something else in Interlaken or even adjusted our travel plans.

The hotel we were placed in did its best to make the transition smooth, and the staff there were kind and understanding. However, it was not a hotel we would have chosen for ourselves. While it offered beautiful views, the rooms and lobby were very dated, and the exterior of the building was one of the least appealing in all of Interlaken, giving off a businesslike vibe rather than the charm we were hoping for. In the end, we were thankful to have a roof over our heads, but we left feeling very disappointed that our original hotel did so little to help us beyond booking another place.

I received an upgrade to a superior room which was spacious with dual aspects that gave pleasing views. The furnishings were showing wear, but the bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom appeared new with a good shower and well appointed. Breakfast buffet provided plenty of choice and good quality, and an outdoor terrace with a garden was a plus. Finally, staff were friendly and eager to please.

I’m very impressed and satisfied with my stay . The hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from the train station. The decorations and design is so vintage and I remembered some of the old pots and pans and iron displayed all over the lobby . The front desk staff were helpful and always smiling . The room was so cozy and clean . I had the beautiful view of the mountain and water . The breakfast buffet was awesome and delicious ! The servers were all accommodating , friendly , smiling , courteous. Shout out to Ludwig! He was so nice and went above and beyond . The hotel gave me champagne and cake for my birthday . The Cheese Fondue was so delicious . I also ate the Veal for dinner and it so tender and tasty . I will highly recommend this hotel .See you again Carlton Europe !

The location is good but it’s a very old hotel. There is no air conditioning and the rooms are so small. They have fan in the rooms but the fan in my room doesn’t work. We have 4 rooms and only 1 room is bigger than the other 3 and the showers are all small. For the price we are paying, I don’t think it’s worthed.

This hotel has so much potential. Location is incredibly close to train station. Breakfast is fabulous and our superior room was comfortable and beautiful! Offered 5 star hotel accessories such as scale, robes, slippers, great hair products,etc. The owner needs to throw away or donate all the antiques that clutter every hallway and corner. It looks like a museum and not appealing at all!

I reported it to the front desk, but they said they were busy with an event. I also requested a box of tissues multiple times, but it was never delivered. While there were some positives, the service and noise issues affected my overall experience.

An interesting and pleasant hotel with traditional period atmosphere and furnishings. Very convenient for Interlaken Ost train station, and like everywhere in Interlaken, is surrounded by stunning scenery (when visible!) Hotel had scaffolding up around most of it during my stay which meant the room balconies couldnt be used- a little disappointing and i couldnt benefit from the views.
The bed had a memory-foam mattress, which tends to divide opinion! - If you like it, the bed would be great, but I find it a bit too hot so not particularly comfortable! Breakfast was pleasant with standard hot and cold buffet offerings.

First, the photos do not do this hotel justice. It’s so quaint and warm. It feels like you’re going to someone’s home with vintage sewing machines, telephones, typewriters, etc. You’re just taken back in time. Rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is wonderful. The restaurant looks like a cabin and you sit with these amazing views of the mountains and gorgeous garden. Location is close to the train station and walking distance from shopping and restaurants.

A lovely hotel. Pleasant staff. The dining options were not great (one of the restaurants was closed when we were there) but there are many other options in Interlaken. The breakfast was superb. Pleasant staff who worked hard to make the stay easy.

Very clean property. Super close to train station, room to train including checkout and walking with heavy luggage ~ 11 min, much faster if not carrying luggage. Surrounded by mountains. 30 min or so walk to lake. Lots of dining and shopping. Would stay again

シングルの部屋で予約していましたが、ダブルにアップグレードしていただきました。部屋は綺麗でデザインも素敵でした。朝食がとても豪華で印象に残っています。エスプレッソマシーンや冷蔵庫もあり充実していました。
チェックインの際に注意事項などの紙が配られ、守らなければ罰金もあります。ほとんどが当たり前のことですが、部屋でテイクアウトを食べてはいけないなど、特別気をつけることもあるのでそこはよく読んだ方がいいでしょう。
ただ、ホテルに併設されているレストランに行ったところ、高齢の女性のスタッフに差別的なことを言われ入れてもらえないということがあり不快な気持ちになりました。
総合的に、駅からも近く、値段以上の宿泊をできたのでとても良かったです。レストランに関してはオスト周辺よりウェストの方が確実に多いです。
