The property is in the middle of the two train stations in Interlaken making it very convenient to go anywhere in any direction. Every place was within walking distance. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Staff was excellent. Everyone spoke english and no communication barrier. Included breakfast was very good. We also had dinner at the restaurant which was very delicious. I didn't get to use the pool nor the sauna due to lack of time but it was great that option was available. Definitely recommend this place.

Worst hotel customer service!

Do not stay here if you are looking for basic kindness and respect. Accomodations are spacious, location is close to many things. Breakfast was very poor quality and few options available. For the price, do yourself a favor and choose another location. Staff is incredibly abrasive, non welcoming and plain disinterested. There is no AC so be advised if considering during summer months.

Centrally located with great views of mountains and greenery. Apartments (2BR) are bigger than usual in Switzerland and comfortable with large balconies, though fridge is a tiny 100 litre for 2BR apartment!

Reception staff was a mixed bag...Christian was absolutely great and very helpful, while the other guy came across as cold, perhaps judgmental, and following rules by the book (and not what's right thing to do).

Location is very convenient as it is located equidistant from both Interlaken Ost and Interlaken West, has bus stop right in front (buses come only every 30 minutes), several luxury shops and restaurants within 5 mins walk, and 10 mins walk to both Coop and Migros supermarkets.

Breakfast was decent spread but exactly the same items each of the 10 days, and often we had to request the staff to top up the items and wait. On couple of occasions, they ran out of croissants one hour before the breakfast ends!

Would recommend the place.

Spotlessly clean apartment in a good location.

We decided to book a 2 bed apartment at the Hapimag and we really enjoyed our stay here. We were 2 couples travelling together so we booked a 2 bed /2 bath apartment and I have to say although it was basic it was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had great views from the balcony and the living room area and kitchen were spacious and comfortable. The bedroom was a little small with 2 single beds pushed together but overall it was quite comfortable. The staff were great - we asked for extra pillows and they were delivered quickly . We also got discount on a trip to Heider Kulm and the reception staff were helpful in recommending things to do in the area.We ate at the Hôtel restaurant one night and the food was very good. We had good weather so was lovely to sit outside on the lovely patio and enjoy a drink. I would stay here again and Interlaken was fabulous.

I had such a lovely stay at the resort! It's in a great location, super clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I traveled with my two toddlers, and I can't say enough about the fantastic service we received at the restaurant! Since it's a resort, room service is a bit limited, but it worked out perfectly for us because they have little apartments with their own kitchens. It made things so convenient while traveling with kids. Overall, I had a wonderful experience!

The 2 bedroom apartment was clean and fully equipped wirh absolutely everything including a functioning kitchen with plates and such. What could be better is their morning breakfast. Food is delicious, good variety although not filled promptly so some serving dishes were empty till we asked for them to be filled. Front staff, amazing.

There were several excellent parts of our stay here. The staff were excellent and extremely helpful the area and location is greatand the spa was amazing .

HOWEVER, the apartment had a MAJOR ROACH INFESTATION. Dozens were seen in the kitchen area, on utensils, in the microwave, scurrying on the plates and actors the table. No matter how good the other things were about this stay, it is absolutely unacceptable to have this problem and I have never encountered something like this in my many years of traveling.

Until this hotel/apartment rental addresses this, I CANNOT RECOMMEND this as place to stay.

We are family of 9, got 2 rooms with 2 bedrooms each. Spacious, clean, quiet and the full kitchen was very convenient. The view on the terrace was amazing. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Luggage storage was available for us. One thing, no available guest service after 9 so be mindful not to misplace your key cards. It happened to us, luckily we had another room to spend the night. But otherwise everything was great and we would come back again.

Clean, spacious, good location, pleasant staff, dining options were good. Main problem with out stay was we did not know it had no air conditioning and 95 degrees outside. Tried to open doors and sleep as staff suggested but it was loud and being a busy street it continued till midnight. Apparently we could have reserved a fan but none available when we asked. For the price of room, I would have hoped they would had a fan for every room. I tried to buy one myself but shops were closed. I will consider coming back here but not during summer.

PROS: This property is in the middle of Interlaken and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Also walkable to the train stations. Paragliders landing zone is across the street from this property.

CONS: The only thing I don’t like about this property is that there is no air conditioner. Not sure if this is the case for all hotels in the area.

Disappointing on many fronts. Not worth it.

Not worth it. Location is good and most of the staff were friendly - but that is it.
* Be warned there is no A/C... very hot already in June.
* They give you one fan. We requested a second fan because we have a baby sleeping separately and they said they had no more. After our request we literally saw them give someone else a fan while we were going to breakfast in the AM so we asked again and at that point they were able to locate one for us magically. *shrug*
* We had requested a baby crib far in advance when booking & they confirmed they would have it in room on arrival but when we arrived they said they had no more. They did get one for us after a lot of back and forth - but it was an unnecessary hassle and stress after traveling. A hotel of this size should have plenty of baby cribs and fans for the cost being charged. Very frustrating.
*The floors of the unit were filthy, so be prepared that the \"cleaning\" does not include floors. Our infant and toddler's feet were blackened from walking around in the apartment. * It is somewhat ambiguous when booking as to whether you will have a view of the mountains or not - we had a view of a tree on the side of the building.
* Despite advertising an outdoor breakfast patio it was closed our entire stay - the first morning they said it was being cleaned (it wasn't) and the second morning they didn't bother giving an excuse. Flies all over the breakfast buffet food.
Overall we were very disappointed and would not recommend.

We just had a most wonderful stay at the Hapimag Hotel and can't say enough good things about the staff and accommodations. We loved Samantha the guest service agent who convinced my wife to go paragliding! Our room was very spacious and immaculate with a fully stocked kitchen. The twin beds were extremely comfortable as we finally got some rest after traveling to other parts of Switzerland. It's nice to have spacious closets too. The morning breakfast was very enjoyable and the staff made everyone feel welcome. The Hapimag will be our number one destination on future visits to the Bernese Oberland. Highly recommended!

The Front Desk staff was so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The swimming pool and sauna facilities on-site are such a bonus and we fully took advantage of them when it rained during most of our stay! The rooms/apartment units are very spacious and well equipped and we really enjoyed the mountain view from our balcony. The bread ordering service was wonderful and there is a restaurant right nextdoor. It's just 10min to Interlaken Ost station and also 8 min or so to the busier Interlaken West area with all the shops. We appreciated staying at Hapimag and in the Interlaken Ost area where it is more spacious and less crowded than Interlaken West (easily reachable within walking distance away). Right from Interlaken Ost station is the Harder Kulm and Interlaken Ost serves as the hub for all the trains going to the neighborning villages.
We willl definitely come back to stay at Hapimag!

Hotel is not very family friendly. Most of the patrons are in the 65+ age group and are intolerant of families. My children were just talking in the hotel restaurant and a couple were giving us horrible looks. My daughter was scared of the \"nasty old lady staring at her\". They also did not like our dogs. There were other families at the hotel but they did not go into the restaurant or pool (probably for the very same reasons - the nasty looks). Good hotel, wish the other patrons behaved better.

It is located in the middle of two train stations in Interlaken but it took about 10 to 15 minutes walk to either station, reasonably convenient. It is in the heart of the town and there are a lot of shops and restaurant nearby. We booked a family room for 4 persons and it is big and clean.

We totally enjoyed our stay over several days at Hapimag Interlaken in April, our first encounter with the chain. Absolutely not 'bon marché', but then for Australians, nothing is in beautiful Switzerland. But our garden view apartment was great and our deal, in relative terms (which any reasonable people have to accept), was very good.

All of the staff with whom we had contact were pleasant and helpful.

The staff is wonderful, all are very nice and happy to help. The hotel is centrally located with most of Interlaken in easy walking distance. There is no air conditioning which was a bit of a problem as it was unusually warm when we visited. Also, there were very noisy neighbors. The room is large with lots of space. I would stay again at a cooler time of year, for mid summer, I recommend find an air conditioned place.
