Property and staff were amazing !! Food , accommodations and transport were great. Unfortunately when it came down to the people in public in general the people of Germany were extremely un helpful, they seem to basically not have time to even point the right way. I have traveled the work mostly on work time or military and Germany is a country I will never return to .. so sad. But what a beautiful country ….sorry !!!!!!

Great location, walking distance to the Kiellinie and direct bus to the main train station. Very nice and comfortable rooms. USB charging plugs are convenient!
Breakfast had plenty of delicious options, including vegan and gluten free.
Only minus: there is \"conditioning shampoo\" only, not shampoo and conditioner. I don't think that's the same and would prefer a separate conditioner

This is not a real Steigenberger, it's aged.

We're 2 international travel Journalists who revisited the town we lived at for many years and still remember the Hotel under Hansi Conti. Not much has changed, unfortunately we stayed there at a Hotel renovation stage. The lifts did not work and parking was a challenging effort due to the narrow car spaces and huge concrete pillars strewn throughout the underground parking area.

We explicit asked for two connecting rooms which were confirmed at reservation and on the day in the reception. We booked Kieler Rooms as asked. We did not get it and after quite reluctant service at the elderly male receptionist we ended after long talks to get two next to each others which didn’t solve the ask. In general a nice hotel with a great breakfast.

Hotellet er rigtig fint og ligger lige ud til forskellige buslinier, som går ind til byen.
Det var et rigtig dejligt værelse, og alt fungerede perfekt.
Super lækker morgenmad, med alt hvad hjertet begærer.
Personalet var meget søde og venlige, men vi kunne godt have brugt, at de af sig selv oplyste, at hvis man ville spise i restauranten om aftenen, skulle man reservere bord (vi ville have spist der fredag aften), og der var mange mennesker i byen, så derfor ville vi spise på hotellet, men der var ikke flere ledige borde, så det var øv.
Men alt i alt et rigtig dejligt ophold, og vi anbefaler det gerne til andre.

De rodede rundt i det ved vores indtjekning. Vi var 3 par og jeg havde booket til os alle og sat et navn på hvert værelse og så kunne de ikke finde mit på trods af at jeg havde booket alle tre værelser.
Samme problem havde vi ved tjek ud. Det burde ikke være så svært.

Mangler info om parkeringsafgifter

Dejlig placering ved byen, flot hotel og venlig service ved indtjekningen. Dog er det svært, at gennemskue prisen på morgenmaden - at man betaler ekstra for drikkevarer, det er ikke oplyst nogen steder. Ved indtjekningen ved morgenmaden står en højrøstet kvinde og råber ud over det hele, at der måtte vi skam ikke sidde - det var optaget. Det kunne gøres mere diskret!

Das Zimmer inklusive Bad waren wunderbar. Ich hätte mir bei der Größe des Zimmers einen kleinen Schreibtisch mit passendem Stuhl gewünscht, aber das ist vermutlich eine persönliche Preferenz.

Wir hatten die Unterkunft für eine Nacht gewählt um am nächsten einen kurzen Weg zum Ostseekai zu haben.
Das Hotel ist sehr gut vom Hauptbahnhof mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen.
Und nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß von der Kiellinie entfernt.
Das Hotel ist sauber, die Zimmer groß und frisch renoviert.

Wir hatten aufgrund des Namens \"Steigenberger\" und auch aufgrund des Preises mehr erwartet. Am Ende ist es ein durchschnittliches und in die Jahre gekommenes 4-Sterne-Hotel. Es ist sauber und ordentlich, das Personal macht seinen Job, Frühstück ist vorhanden aber auch nicht wow. Das Hotel ist also okay, aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältniss entsprach nicht unseren Erwartungen.

Ein träger Wasserabfluss beim Duschen in einer Badewanne(!)

Lage zentral und wirklich gut. Hotel dieser Marke aus erster Stunde, innen renoviert, aber mit vielen Unzulänglichkeiten wie z.B. Minibad, unmöglich zu duschen ohne Alles unter Wasser zu setzen. Wer packt eine Badewanne in ein 3qm Bad? Queen Size Bett mag für Königinnen reichen, für Königspaare nicht. Bettzeug alte Fludder, Kopf liegt am Boden. Bar hat Supermarktauswahl. Parkhaus kostet stolze 23€ am Tag, kein Hausgasttarif. Konstatiere, Steigenberger aus dem Programm nehmen.

Schöne Lobby und Restaurant. Die Kompfortzimmer können, insbesondere was den Luftdurchzug und Lärmisolierung angeht erneuert werden. Auch das Heizungsthermostat war nicht zu finden ( haben dann eine Info auf hinter dem Mülleimer unten bekommen ) und dann nur sehr schlecht einzustellen ( man konnte nicht sehen was man einstellt, von einer Raumtemperatur mal ganz zu schweigen) . Für ein Nacht war es in Ordnung. Sauber war es auch.
