The hotel is extremely convenient to the airport - literally a 30 second walk from the terminal. A modern hotel and very clean. I would like to particularly thank Jamie and Natalie at the front desk who very helpfully printed off flight/hotel documents for me at 1am !!! Amazing people.

I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the Maldron was. I had expected the rooms to be noisy with the planes coming and going at all hours, but I did have three very good nights sleep.
The restaurant/bar staff were so friendly, which was nice as I was travelling alone. Overall a great experience.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Stayed before and after holiday due to snow/ icy roads and flight leaving very early in the morning and the one returning being late evening. Both rooms were clean and quiet. A 2 minute walk to the airport. Good selection at breakfast and decent quality.

I tried to add on an additional night’s parking over the phone prior to my stay but was told no as I hadn’t booked directly. This is the first time I have felt like a second tier guest for booking with hotels.com. This meant I had to park in the separate airport car park for two nights which added stress to our hotel stay when the purpose of the stay was to make our journey stress free.

Unhelpful treated like 2nd class citizen because i had not booked direct. I contacted this airport hotel and asked that i be allowed to leave my car in the carpark between after I left the hotel at 0430 in the morning until 2330 this evening was told no because i hadnt booked directly. They suggested i cancel my booking and rebook through them. I offered to pay they said that would not be possible. I therefore booked into the adjacent airport car park at extra cost. This showed the hotel was totally inflexible. I arrived at the hotel at 0015 on and whilst booking in to add insult to injury the staff member checking me in informed me thatbhe knew i had eequested parking and been refused and he emphasised that i had to remove my car when i checked out. I really didnt need reminded never mind emphasised. I left the hotel at 0430. Really dissapointed with staff attitude and the way i was treated as a 3rd party booking.

The bed was the hardest bed I’ve ever been on however the pillows were great. It was convenient being next to the airport. At check in they told us they would give us a menu so we could decide if we wanted to eat at the hotel or not. It never came. They were nice but for the price etc I would stay somewhere else.

This is the only hotel at Belfast International Airport so it has a captive audience. If you need parking for a holiday be sure you book with the hotel directly as they are merciless if you don't. We has a problem and were dismissed to other aiport parking. I found reception staff unwelcoming and abrupt but dining room and bar staff were very pleasant and helpful. If you need shower cap, body lotion bring your own as only shampoo and soap provided in the room.

All the staff i encountered within the hotel were friendly, efficient and professional, the bar and restaurant are an oasis from the airport which is literally a stone throw away.I have stayed in this hotel on a number of occasions and it has never disappointed, it is a little expensive, however you definitely get value for your money, i would recommend this hotel to anyone, particularly if you have an early flight.

Hotel was great
Comfortable room
Good food. I ordered a medium rare steak and it was cooked perfectly
I would suggest my room 309 had a good hoover around the bottoms of skirting boards edges of room
Also bath sheets rather than bath towels
Last minute booking due to technical problems at airport
Very convenient only about 2 minute walk to departures

Obviously convenient for the airport, hence the 4 stars for that. Staff are helpful. Room carpet, needing refreshing (I won’t go into details). Power cut at 2am meant no electrics or water, but this was out of the hotels control due to the known incoming storm Darragh. Staff helped as best they could. Having checked in at midnight and having a shower on arrival, meant this wasn’t too inconvenient, and the water bottles in the room helped at 6.30am!!! Thankfully my 8.50am flight did manage to leave in high winds, so it could have been far worse. In summary, I have used the hotel many tims before, staff are always welcoming, and using the hotel as a meeting point before heading into the city or for a few hours before an early flight out, works well.

Free upgrade to best available room was not offered and was then declined when requested, even though it is supposed to be a standard benefit for a gold member. The executive family room was showing as available on the hotel website, but the booked junior family room was not upgraded. Very disappointing as this was my first stay with a VIP hotel as a gold member.

Arrive @ 1:30am & get given a room with umade beds

Arrived late and the car barrier did not open and no one picked when I buzzed. Had to walk to reception to ask to be let in.

I did ring in the morning to say I would be late due to travel issues and was told it was not an issue as there was 24 hours reception.

Got to my room only to realise it had not been made up! Had to request a room change.

Made a complaint in the morning at reception and was told the duty manager will call me. No one has 🙄

The most convenient airport hotel

The hotel is so convenient for early morning flights. The hotel is clean, fresh and relaxing. The only negative was the long wait for our dinner order to be taken. However the member of staff was knowledgeable about alergens and advised me very well. The receptionist was kind enough to print out a document for me.

The Hotel is at the airport and away from everything else. The rooms are of much lower quality compared to what rates they charge. I checked in at 9:30pm and the staff refused even a one hour later complimentary checkout the next day. The charge 7.5 Pounds extra for room service. Breakfast quality is just average. Overall a disappointing experience.

Pricey for room standard but unrivalled location.

Basic, somewhat dated hotel but ideally placed for the airport where I was working. Rooms are clean and tidy but could have a few simple touches to make them less prison like and more comfortable. As with all hotels, just lamps instead of lights but the room did have a nice modern bathroom which was great. A sign of a good hotel is the biscuits and theirs were cheap/average at best which was a shame.

Handy for the Airport

Good service & great room (but you'd expect that for the price you're paying!) - however, the cooking/meal smells around teatime do permeate the rooms (via aircon?) - something I think you should not get, again, given the price you're paying - location though is fantastic for the airport
