Another great stay at this hotel, we had an early flight from Belfast airport & this is the best hotel in the area that is convenient for the airport ( 10 min drive )
Initially I was concerned about the allocated room that was overlooking the hotel fan system ,but the reception team were excellent in reassuring me that noise would not be an issue & they were correct
Great food in the restaurant as well

From the minute we checked in staff were absolutely fantastic. We ate in the Dormy and food was so lovely and for what it was I thought pricing was really reasonable. Health club was also lovely, spotless. Room really well kept with a Smart TV much to the delight of the kids (combined with a lovely warm cookie at check in they were pretty much amazed!). Can’t wait to visit again.

Stayed for our 25th Wedding anniversary. We played golf, used the spa and had food all here over two days. Everything as first class including the staff who couldn’t do enough for us. Also chuffed with a nice card and chocolates in our room for our anniversary.

Had a great time! The property itseis beautiful and the rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Everything was great! The staff is very sweet and kind. The breakfast was great as well they serve fresh omletes as well, lived every bit. Went there for a pre valentines weekend and thoroughly enjoyed every bit. We also got the hydra spa and had a relaxing time there

We were woke for hours during the night with people in the room above singing and banging, the hotal staff tried to quieten them down, but it continued. When mentioned to the reception next morning we were told there was an event on the previous night. If you intend to book, make sure there are no events on or if there is it would appear noise comes as standard! Disappointed with reaction of staff this morning. On a plus the spa was excellent and breakfast was very good.

Overall good hotel - room good size, low quality coffee and tea items. Fridge in room but no fresh milk. Pool etc good and well maintained.

From arrival too check out Malachy and all the staff at Doubletree, we're welcoming , courteous and professional throughout as always.
With regards to our room 320, it was spacious and it was nice to be able too open windows wide enough to benefit from normal ventilation which reduced the need for use of air conditioning (eco friendly).
The only suggestion I would make regarding to room is the addition of small mirror above surface in place of picture that would allow guests to sit down whilst drying hair or applying makeup.( See attached image).

Great check-in experience. Tess on tracheotomy very friendly and the warm cookies were yum!
Room looked to have been recently refurbished and was very spacious and clean. Rain shower was great and toiletries were high quality.
We enjoyed a lovely sunny afternoon on the terrace overlooking the golf course. Drink prices were no worse than pubs in Belfast.
Our deal was on half board basis, so a 2-course dinner was included. The menu was varied and we both easily found something to order along with a bottle of red (not included in package) from the extensive wine list. Food arrived in good time and was excellent.
We retired to the lounge for a while after dinner were there was live entertainment provided. Repertoire was more aimed at older folks which wasn't particularly our taste but we enjoyed it all the same.
I found the bed a bit hard &, uncomfortable but my wife slept very soundly.
In the morning, breakfast was fine if a little confusing with various foods (hot food, fruit juices, pastries, cereals, fruit, hot drinks) located in different areas of the restaurant. An extra coffee machine wouldn't go amiss, only a minor gripe though.
All in all, a great stay and we will most certainly return.
Only thing I'd mention is that there are no plug sockets close to the mirror in the bedroom, only around the corner. If bringing own hairdryer/straighteners then you might need an extension if your cable is short.

Will definitely be back!

The renovations in the hotel have given it a whole new lease of life. Very elegant now and the rooms are stylish and very comfortable. The staff were so helpfull and friendly. We used the new spa which is really nice and also the pool area as well. We couldn't fault it at all.
Food was excellent in the Dormy Bar and Restaurant and overall we loved it visit. We'll definitely be back

Great spot for a night away

Staff were lovely and pool area was clean and really modern. The rooms were beautifully finished. We didn’t eat in the hotel except for breakfast which was fine. But very few breads/pastries. Coffee wasn’t great either but aside from that a great hotel.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Doubletree Hotel Templepatrick. The only issues we encountered were as follows.
- No mirror we're elderly arthritic persons could sit and blow dry hair/ apply makeup.

- We made use of health spa offer but on the second day we found the jacuzzi pool jets to be very weak compared too previous day which did eventually get corrected about 5 minutes before our 2 hour period was ending.

We shall return possibly in February as we did like the location and atmosphere at hotel.

We were travelling with 2 ninety year olds requiring walk-in showers which I emailed and telephoned them about before our trip. We were allocated 1 room with a walk in shower and 2 with a shower over the bath on check in. It took me another 2 visits to reception to get a change of room that would work. The hotel is undergoing a refurb and we were definitely in the rooms that needed modernising.
The rest of the hotel was well serviced and more what we expected from a Hilton.

Had an absolutely wonderful time staying here. We he last time I was here was about 7 years ago and now I can’t believe the design upgrade it is so beautiful and the room was huge we got a twin king room to fit our family of 5 and was so comfortable with everything you need including a small kitchen area which was brilliant shower was amazing! The pool area was very clean kids had a blast in it was given clean towels the shower facilities very very good for a pool! everything was first class will definitely be back 👍

Not so nice receptionist beginning with, gym and swimming pool staffs are warm and friendly. Breakfast was just ok, but staffs were nice enough. Morning receptionist was changed to a nice lady, she asked about how was our stay. Over all, public transport was not available with suitcases, and taxi from city were expensive. Wouldn’t go again if not because the swimming pool and steam room etc. if just for travel wouldn’t bother.

Not worth the money

Stayed here after a wedding nearby. Was shocked to learn that for the price, breakfast wasn’t included. There was no water in the rooms. When we rang reception we were told we’d have to go down and get it ourselves. When I complained at the desk, the reception worker didn’t even bother to take his earphones out. The night staff could certainly be doing with a trainer on guest interaction. Glad we only stayed the 1 night. Would not recommend at all. We paid almost £300 for 1 nights stay in what’s basically an over priced premier inn with less amenities.

We used this as a base to explore Belfast and the North East of Northern Ireland and we found it ideal.
Great pool.
We had to have breakfast once at the hotel and we were glad it was only the once. The only let down. We did mention this when we left, so hopefully this will improve!

The property advertised that it was fully renovated and 4star
On arrival the lobby and staff were lovely. The room itself was very dated and the mattress was old and very uncomfortable
I requested a new mattress and was told that I’d be moved to a different room however, they placed a thin mattress topper on the old one and told me that I’d been given a replacement mattress.
Each morning around 7.30-8.00am there were workman drilling and hammering in either an adjacent room or the room above
I ended up checking out 3 days into my 7 day stay
I would not book this hotel again in the future
