Room was nice and clean but the radiator didn’t work, when we asked to get it turned on it never was, you could hear the motorway loudly through the window, the shower was strange either one straight stream or spitty bad pressure that wet the bathroom. I found this property really good value for money and the evening meal in the bar/grill was delicious and generous. The overall ambiance in the restaurant at breakfast was lacking and it was dark and dreary. I would not enjoy an evening meal in those surroundings. Breakfast was average in terms of its offerings. My room was large and comfortable and the sheets were clean and crisp. Despite being near a busy road it was very quiet. The hotel is a convenient location for travelling on somewhere else, but this hotel is not for a long-term stay.

We mentioned these things in the morning anftrr our first night and were out all day at a wedding but maintenance had not fixed either of them by the time we returned from the wedding late.
The hotels rooms are very close to a busy road so if you need silence to sleep you will struggle.
Overall a very friendly comfortable hotel with fantastic friendly staff that needs to sort out some maintenance issues.

The room was comfortable. Very comfy bed. The bathroom was fresh and modern. The fire alarm which sounded several times during the night is a major issue. Each time we were told by reception it was a false alarm. What really spoiled it for us was the dirty crockery and cutlery. It should be very obvious to those working in the kitchen or restaurant that there’s a problem with the dishwasher. Dirty crockery should not be offered to guests, even if it means washing them by hand.

We received a warm welcome during our overnight stay. Hotel room was spotless but a little cold. Temperature couldn't be raised above a set point of 21°c and was quite cold when the heating went off during the night. We dined at the hotel which was good but again public areas were cold. It was bitterly cold but hey it's the winter and we'd expect public areas to be heated to a conformable level without the need for a coat. When we entered the bedroom there was a stench coming from the shower drain and we had to run the shower to try and fill the trap to do away with the bad smell (room 102). It was adequate for our overnight stay but at this price level and what was a deluxe room we'd have expected more. One redeeming quality as the breakfast which was very hearty!

Arriving at any hotel for the first time carries with it an element of unpredictability and uncertainty. We needn't have worried. Easy to find, with ample secure parking spaces, the welcome at reception quickly put us at ease. A large well decorated and maintained bedroom with tea and coffee facilities awaited, together with crisp clean linen on, as we discovered later, a very comfortable bed. Plenty of bath and hand towels and toiletries were available in the spacious bathroom. The wi-fi was more than adequate and the rooms seemed to be well soundproofed - we stayed on a busy, function-rich Saturday evening, but heard no disturbance at all. We ate from a fairly extensive menu for dinner which delivered everything we required and more - at reasonable prices. The staff both at dinner and breakfast were courteous and engaging. The lobby singer had a beautiful voice and did his job by enticing us to make an unplanned stop for a drink as we idled away an extremely pleasant Saturday evening.

He was very helpful with details about getting into Belfast from the train station and things to see. If you select hotels by their rating, this is really a 7.0 hotel. I stay in a lot of hotels and this one is definitely not a 9.0. The people are lovely and accommodating.

There is no ac in the rooms so you leave your window open which is near a street and a bit loud. We accidentally booked 2 nights, and may have considered staying the second night, but circumstances came up that required us to leave and the quality of the hotel wasn’t worth staying another night. The hotel refused to refund our second night through hotels.com even though they said they would.

The location was very convenient when we came in on the motorway. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The parking was great and the elevators were a godsend. The staff was welcoming and friendly.
