The worst place I have stayed at in a long time. No amenities. No towels. Terrible sheets. Bed slid like a college dorm. Back hurt waking up. Terrible attitude from workers. Room stunk. No food. Small pool. Terrible noise coming through windows from bridge. Hidden fees. Took 200$ deposit. Loud neighbors. Doors slamming night and day. 0 support from staff. Almost lost my car keys.

Staff was wonderful! Everyone was super friendly and helpful! We were sad the pool was closed due to maintenance, as well as an elevator. It was a bit inconvenient due to us needing ADA amenities and the larger elevator being down. Other than that, everything was convenient and clean. Smiling faces were everywhere. Highly recommend!

While the lobby was nice, the host stand was kind of in the way if there is customers there access to the elevators is limited due to spacing and placement. the hallways were too darkly lit for my taste and the room numbers were being held to the wall by rolled up duct tape it seemed. i got the impression that the hotel was still in the process of being built and they decided to open it for business while the finishing touches were yet to be applied. the location was very nice and had access to a lot of entertainment walking distance

Love Aloft. Very modern and the location is unbeatable. Room is small but serves its purpose because this isn’t really a place to book to stay in your room anyway. Right downtown walking distance to anything you’d need for fun or food

They put us on the third floor where they were doing drywall all through the hallway. Carpet was covered in drywall dust, drywall paper and the crust permeated the room we stayed in. The workers were playing music, banging buckets etc until 10pm. Very very upsetting to pay that much and be subjected to this.

The room was at the very end of the hallway and we had to get through tons of remodeling going on. Every day at 8 am there was lots of noise, people yelling, and construction noise in the hallway. This went on until 8 pm every night. There was insulation laying in front of our door and today when we left, they were sanding the walls. We opened the door to a wall of dust. The workers were actually wearing masks. How about the guests? This is ridiculous! I understand the need for remodeling, but how about one floor at a time, that they close off from guests? I was very disappointed in our stay. The only thing it had going for it was the location.

Mandatory Valet parking that is not mentioned. 200.00 hold for incidentals seems excessive. Hotel rooms are in need of repairs. Stains on walls. Bathroom floor was dirty and sticky. Never any towels in pool area. Valet was very friendly. Front desk staff were only "ok". Beds were comfy. Missed having a microwave. Amazing walking distance to Fiserv. Overall though, quite overpriced for such a basic hotel. As mentioned in other reviews if youre in the 2nd floor it is quite loud. You feel like you're sitting in the middle of the road with all of the outside noise.

There was NO hot water in our room (2053). We were told we needed to run it a while because we were on the end of the building. Ran it continuously for 3-4 minutes without success. Later, we tried, and it was medium warm, not hot. But if we turned it off and tried again in literally 30 seconds, it was completely cold again. This happened several times during out stay. Would not recommend staying there.

It was a short stay and convenient for our location to a venue, but the room wasn't very clean, and it wasn't a quiet location. I woke up to the room next door making a lot of noise at 3 a.m. So unfortunately, not a restful sleep. I stay at a lot of places with my travels and was disappointed with this selection, especially for the price I paid.

It’s ridiculous that I payed $189 for a one night stay AHEAD of time so I wouldn’t be charged at the time of our stay yet when checking in they charged me AGAIN for $200 MORE that takes 3-5 business days to get credited back?! I get having a card on file in the event there are damages and even a SMALL fee but to charge somebody AGAIN that much is insane and shouldn’t be allowed. You don’t know someone’s financial situation and that could really affect them negatively.

Also, the lighting situation in the room was incredibly annoying. Only 2 switches that are right by the door. You can’t just turn on the bathroom (toilet/shower room) without turning that whole area on. I also hated the sliding bathroom door.

We won’t be booking with an Aloft hotel again.

The shade in the room was broken and wouldn’t role down, toilet leaked water. Went doorstairs for breakfast at 8am and one of the tables had 4 empty beer cans sitting on the table from the night before. This is the first negative review I have ever written. Very disappointing.

Overall, the hotel was nicely appointed and in a pretty ideal location downtown walkable to many restaurants, shops, and bars. Affordable, clean, spacious rooms, nicely kept up lobby area, friendly staff, but our big gripe is the music loudly playing into the wee hours of the morning, stopping for a few hours, and then picking up again at the crack of dawn, making sleep all but impossible. We could never figure out where it was coming from, but suspect it was in the hotel somewhere and that they are aware of it given that there were signs in the room that read “city keeping you awake at night?” and the fact that they offered complimentary ear plugs and a white noise machine. Probably wouldn’t choose again due to the noise factor.

It was so noisy that we left after the first night and moved to a different hotel. We were unable to get a refund but still purchased a different hotel because we didn't sleep at all. And on top of no sleep we had to pay $45 a day for parking. If you want to sleep do not stay here.

This hotel is very convenient to restaurant's, bars and entertainment all within walking distance. I did feel the cost of parking was excessive and wish the shower had a shelf. Its difficult when showing having no where to place your essentials

My second time staying here and I enjoyed it. Room had a funky smell but other than that is was wonderful. I enjoy the hotel and the location. Super easy to go to fiserv forum and surrounding area. Valet can take longer so just be prepared for that. Staff was amazing! Everyone was so kind and friendly.

We rode 100 miles on bikes from chicago and Andrew was immediately so welcoming. The valet staff kindly took our photos and the bartender was so professional, quick and friendly. Fabulous atmosphere, comfortable room and we will stay here again if in Milwaukee

The staff was terrific. I was able to check in my room a little early & out a little later. That was very helpful to a weary traveler. My only complaint about the room would be the outside noise. I could hear people in the hallway, cars on the street outside. It made for sleeping a bit difficult. The carpets were a bit stained and bunched up but other than that the hotel was clean and comfortable!

Good location but not worth the money

The location is great, but the rooms are pretty worn out (e.g., chipped doors, cracked counters, scuffed paint). That part would have been ok, but to make matters worse, the iron apparently had rust in the steam vents and ruined a white dress shirt with rust colored splotches, and when we returned to the hotel late after a wedding, water was leaking from the ceiling over the bed.
