Everyone was very friendly, but we had to change rooms four times. There was a note in the reservation that I am disabled and need a room with a bathtub, but there wasn't one in the first room. It took a while, but they got us moved to a room with a tub. Unfortunately, the stopper did not seal. It was roughly 3 am by the time we got into the new room, so I plugged it with a washcloth so I could at least wash my body. The sink was clogged, so I lifted the removable tile in the bottom and found food, hair, mold and mildew. They moved us to another room the following morning, but I inspected it before moving all of our things again and the tub stopper did not seal in that one, either. The tub stopper sealed better in the fourth room, but it still leaked slowly and made a loud, vibrating sound that sounded like a saw. I thought it was the construction. There was also dirt, hair, and visible caked-on residue in the tub—preventing me from taking a bath yet again. There also appeared to be pubic hair on the toilet and dried urine running down the front of the toilet and around the base on the floor. We did not want to move again, so we requested that someone come clean it. When we returned, the toilet and some of the residue in the tub was clean, but there was residue remaining. I had to clean the tub myself so I could finally take a (much needed) bath. This severely exacerbated my pain and we were forced to cancel our planned activities to move rooms again.

Prior guest left heater on full blast. After a couple hours maintenance came up and unlocked the window so it was open a crack. By the end of the 4 days it was still 70-75 degrees in the room and -15 degree out side. I wish they would leave the AC active or have part of check out be that the heater is off and or have fans to blow in cold air and cool off rooms.

The hotel is about 100 years old, it has that wonderful solid traditional hotel feeling. The staff, rooms, restaurants all exceeded our expectations We were in town visiting family, and will absolutely stay there again. Kudos to everyone involved with keeping that property running!!

The elevators couldn’t handle all of the guests as they weren’t all working and there were many people staying. Hotel was beautiful and the amenities were great. My only problem is that I'm an EV owner and we chose this hotel because it had EV charging available. When we arrived we found out that it so let level 2 charging, there is only one charge port available and we had to get engineering to turn it on. That was a hassle. When a hotel advertise s charging, it shouldn't be such a hassle to get your vehicle charged there

Location is good by the Baird Center and 3rd Street Market. Hotel had a great vibe with the historical feel. We had a corner room, which had a great view of downtown. However, the TV was in the corner and was not adjustable, so it wasn't the greatest view from the bed. But staff was great across the board. Breakfast was very expensive, which was probably the only downside.

International traveller here with experience of staying in all types of hotel properties. There are several nice hotels in the vicinity with better customer service and amenities, at a better price, I DO NOT recommend this hotel.
The Hilton Milwaukee is a historic hotel downtown Milwaukee and its well located. That's the only positive that can be shared. The hotel is old and clearly needs massive renovation efforts. We stayed here when participating in the Pokemon Regional Championship over Oct 11th weekend.
- When we arrived there was construction in the lobby, we were not made aware of that before. It was loud and confusing how to get to the reception as it's on the 1st floor. When I pointed this out I was offered a 100$ discount by the property manager.
- The elevators are so old and rickety, every time we rode in one, it caused us anxiety. These old elevators have a 6 person limit. Many times people would get in without respecting that and someone in the elevator would have to refuse them entry.

Parking structure isn’t attached to the building so there’s a 0.5-1 block walk. You also have to pay $38/night. Very clean and looks nice for the most part but the interior elevator wall handle was broken and dangling. Also a section of the hotel, I think an eatery, was taped off with black plastic ruining the atmosphere a tad. Staff were attentive and quick; my favorite staff members were the two small cute dogs that hang out in the lobby.

I stayed one night to attend an event at the Fiserv Center, an easy walk. Enjoy a burger and beer at Miller Time bar, friendly service and good food! Enjoyed my stay.
