Helpful friendly staff, clean room
Eric
Just a very basic place to stay. Nothing great but nothing problematic either.
Tracy
It was horrible. Never ever will I ever stay here again or let one of my friends and family stay here. These people are horrible heartless people. Never ever again!!
Susan
Decent place for a night. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Check in was simple and staff was kind.
billi
Room was very clean
Bruce
The staff at the front desk were so welcoming. The room was pleasant and comfortable.
Carol
It was passable. Front desk staff was unfriendly. The to go breakfast was basically a few picked over granola bars and some coffee and fruit. Not even well stocked.
Kyle
Room was clean, staff was very accommodating and access was easy!
June
They are very small with not much room to move around, they have an odor and stink. The remote to the tv made the fan turn on and off everytime the channel was changed. Worked for its purpose but will not stay there again.
shirleen
Staff was very helpful and friendly.
John
We booked here because it was rated “good” and rate was affordable. No one at the desk when we arrived, and when he did, we couldn’t understand him. Room looked right out the 50’s. Couldn’t adjust temperature. Sink leaked on floor. Office was locked in the morning. Could go on, but you get the point. Don’t always trust the Expedia rating.
Fred
Good place. Good staff. Clean room
Amber
Charged me for a room i couldn't stay in due to plumbing. Owner offered me a refund I never got and now its been a week.
Sara
It was an easy stay, close to the beach and shops, and very clean. My daughter and I just found the beds to be uncomfortable but we like firm mattresses
shane
Rooms were uncomfortably hot and the stand up fan barely worked. Had to have the window and door open most of the time just to be comfortable. We were there three days, had asked for extra towels and a couple extra pillows, and we got one set of towels for the two of us and was told we didn't ask for pillows, and the guy just walked away from us.
Wesley
Very nice and helpful owner. He prefers to leave the downstairs units for the elderly which I thought was a really kind thing.
Ronnie
The motel was very clean with all the room amenities. We would would be pleased to come back on our next trip to Newport.
Mayumi
Great service by the staff.
Beth
We had a good nights stay!! Front desk staff were friendly and had a good sense of humor!
Timothy

Great location, close to a lot of good food places and beaches nearby. Wonderful staff! Bed was SO comfortable! Only issue was... we were not able to sleep well and were worried for our safety due to people staying on either side of us strung out on drugs. They were yelling and banging on things all hours of the night. They were harassing us and everyone else who would walk by. Police were there several times. We were impressed with the actual place and it was great for the price but we would gladly spend more to ensure our rest and safety in the future.
Alan
Clean, comfortable, affordable
Jerry
The gentleman running the desk was extremely nice and helpful. Room was clean and bed comfortable. All in all a good decision
Barbara
It was good for the price.
James
Amazing stay very friendly staff great burgers right next door.
amber
Clean cheap and in the middle of it all.. would stay again.
Cori
Great staff. Clean and cheap.
Richard
There seems to be a communications issue with Hotels.com and all the motels I've stayed at this trip. I don't know what it is. At the Travelodge, my only beef is that the lobby was locked up at 7AM. Good thing there was a coffee maker in the room.
Spencer
Alex the manager could not have been nicer. This place is not the 4 seasons but for $60.00 it is clean and well cared for.
Stephanie
The front desk staff was the best part of the place. The room had a smell and the bed was so uncomfortable we were counting down the time that it was reasonably ok to leave. Won't be staying there again
Robert
Alex, who was the hotel reservation desk staff was excellent. He made sure we had everything we needed. Some of the inside areas could’ve been dusted a little better, but otherwise we had a good stay.
Brooklyn
Really clean room and the front desk staff was super nice and helpful. He gave me great recommendations on where to eat and visit around the area.
Monte
No service at night desk and no way to contact staff after hours. Ended up sleeping in my car after late arrival. However, management offered a refund the next morning without question, which was appreciated.
Thomas
The desk clerk (Male) should not be in hospitality. The most unprofessional clerk I've had to contend with. He showed up, finally after 40 mins after check in (looked really stoned) or at least on something. There is a line outside waiting for check in. He turns up looking confused and unlocks the door. We go in and are standing around. Clerk decides to be very curt and tells a couple of us to go around the corner out of his sight as he has anxiety. I tell the fellow i went to the side with \"Well thats good customer service\". So I immediately get singled out and was threatened to be canceled. Now, my wife and I just drove 600 miles. She is waiting in the car for me. It's warming up and this Joke puts me too the back of the line to show his flex. He didn't even know i told everyone to go ahead of me and apologized to them. Mentioned in the one on one with him, he was military with ptsd. There is more to this story but, I'll wrap it up. At this point I was starting to get a little concerned with his threatening manner. Obviously mental. I will not be back and encourage others to not.
mary
Staff was excellent! Great location! Walking distance to the beach
Donald
Alex the Manager was absolutely the best I have ever worked with.
Jinqi
Thanks!
Donna
The property is being kept up and the ADA room we were in was recently painted. The bed was comfortable. This is a very basic motel right off the main highway but it was still quiet. There was a refrigerator, TV, microwave and hairdryer. There are several fast food places and quick markets nearby plus it's only a few minutes drive to old town Newport or Nye Beach
matthew
Clean, conveniently located, kinda noisy from the hwy. Will stay again, in the back.
Brian

Siobhan
Very courteous staff, clean room and central location!
Andriy
Hi the man at check in desk is super polite person, in my opinion the money I spent for service and clean room worth to spend
Leanne
Room is nice. Staff very welcoming and friendly.
Christopher
Staff is very wonderful
Christopher
Dtaff was amazing
Heather
We wanted to have a weekend at the coast for our 3 year anniversary. The hotel was in the middle of everywhere we wanted to go and had everything we needed. Would stay again
Rozena
This is my 3rd time staying here. I keep coming back because the room rates are affordable, I always get excellent service from the staff, and the rooms have what I need in them and they’re clean.
Carmen

Great desk clerk. Went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable.
Nice room nice shower. I believe shower was plumbed wrong. Turn knob towards blue you got hot water, towards red cold. Was not too noisy. Pillows could have been larger and fluffy.

Room was clean and staff very friendly and helpful.
Tim
Room was handicap accessible although the room listing didn't indicate it was.
Karen
Decent experience
Virgil
This poor place could use a facelift, liposuction, a gym membership and body sculpting.
It’s dated, it’s falling apart, and that’s sad.

Jerry
Great value, clean and comfortable.
Bill
We were in a bind when traveling with two of couples and this motel had rooms available. Since we were all seniors the clerk was able to get us ground floor rooms. He was very helpful and accommodating.
Gina
Nice little spot!
Check-in was a breeze. The room was spotless and Alex, the manager, is a gem! We stayed in an ADA room and the bathroom was HUGE! We will definitely be back.
Leon David
Overnight stay before fishing trip
Friendly staff, clean room, good location
lisa

JIALING
Front desk was really nice and friendly. We arrived very late and called, she came out to help us for checking in. Great location, but the bath was not very clean. Overall, it worth the price
Aaron
It was a nice place to stay while we enjoyed the coast.
Amanda
The property was not what it said . You do not have ocean views , our door to the room would not close good and was hard to close , our screen was torn . The front desk lady was very unprofessional told me that the towels I had requested multiple times would come after the other rooms were cleaned. We needed a towel asap. She made us feel very u and unwelcome
Stephanie
Very clean, fast & easy check in
Angela
The heater would not go off in room. The phone in room did not work. 2nd room moved to smoke detector chirping.
Holly
The staff was super nice, I appreciate they seemed to care about their job and assisting me. The room was small, but clean.
Diana
Located right in the middle of all there is to do in Newport
lan
the room small awful, and not clean. The price is high, very noisy. Can't find service person. Do not book this place.
Reed
Decent, but lacking a little
Service was excellent. Friendly and accommodating. Rooms did not have A/C and were on the small side. The rooms were a little dated, but were very clean.
Vincent
101 burger next door
Charles
Very lovely hotel and amazing staff. My only issue is that there was no room service done. I was there for 4 nights and had to ask for fresh towels every day
Connie
The room was clean and had the basics that we needed. It was quiet. Location was convenient.
The building is definitely dated and rather sad-looking. No air conditioning, although a fan was provided. The toilet seat was very loose and felt like it was about to come off. Updated bedding, towels, etc. would perk things up.

Solid, Professionally-Run Hotel in Gorgeous Town
Management professionally and quickly rectified a minor snafu upon check-in (a housekeeper called out sick, leaving some rooms still messy). Once moved to a clean room, everything was great - bed was comfortable, bathroom and shower were good. The rooms only have heaters, so we opened the windows for cool air. And, then, in the morning, we noticed the closet area included a column fan for us - oh, well, we'll take the cool sea air any time. Did not even consider the breakfast offered at the hotel - and did not even check it out

It was only a one night stay. It was good the shower needed more water pressure. They had a fan we plugged in but wish there was air conditioning our room was a little muggy. The staff was friendly though.

Twice when I came to check in, there was no one at the desk and the door was locked. I had to call their cell and wait for them to appear. The reception smelled very strongly of cheap airfreshner. The room smelled stale and stuffy.
The room was quiet, appeared clean, and the bed was nice and firm.

Ok in a pinch
No food options at the lodge. Doors were locked so the lobby was closed. Arrived at 4pm and the room was not ready. Burger King and mc Donalds is right there which is where i had to go to get coffee.

When first checking in got to the room and it didn’t have a shower curtain or any towels. But otherwise it was great service

Comfortable and clean!
The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly at check in. The place was nice. A fantastic burger place was next door. The only issue was not being able to properly watch TV because the remote wouldn't allow me to choose captions. Other than that, nice stay!

Beds are double - which is different from queen size. Two small people fit in one bed. The staff said there was a grab and go breakfast but there was nothing provided in the morning. The office was locked when we went to get breakfast and didn't answer the phone when we called to ask about it. They didn't provide body soap.

The shower in our room was taped & was broken but it was still usable. Decent water pressure, great temperatures. The way the shower rod was placed, the bathroom floor got soaked. You can hear all your neighbors. Overall, the room presented clean and smelled clean.
