I enjoyed my stay very much. I would have appreciated guidance to my room, with help for the luggage. I should have asked but figured I could find it, unfortunately, the numbers did not match. Finally found it but had to make an extra trip to the car and the office. Wish I could have stayed longer!!
The staff was pleasant, I enjoyed the landscape, beautiful, and the nature walk!

The landscaper has created a floral wonderland. So many rhododendrons, lillies, other native flowers that I can’t pronounce and it’s a beautiful place to visit. The beds were super comfy! We had room 340 and I was worried they’d be too soft from other reviews but they were wonderful. The squeaking from the floor above wasn’t fun but just get a top floor room. Views are incredible. Staff was nice. Loved it. Wish the pool was open 24/7

This place is an absolute GEM of a location! There is beach access, a trail to the Devils Punchbowl, and views that do not end! The room was fabulous, and the staff was tremendous. A side note as well....the lobby coffee was awesome!!! Definitely will be returning!

Checked in for a peaceful weekend to have a couple with 6 kids above us. Switched our room for us but put us in a non comparable room. When I asked for a comparable room to what I paid for we were told that it was the same room type and we can leave and get a refund or switch rooms again. The bed was hard as a rock and the curtain rod fell on our head and the curtains had mold all over them. The side table had metal sticking out that cut my leg. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone

It’s a gorgeous view in a clean resort. There’s golf carts for loading and unloading, the walls are a tiny bit thin, so expect slight noise from neighbors. We would stay again.

Location, Location!!! Perfect spot right on the ocean where you can watch the Sea Lions. When the tide is out, there are amazing tide pools to explore. It is located conveniently between Newport and Depoe Bay, but nestled in the forest. We were also able to view the stars at night. The condo itself could use a lot of updating and repairs, but still a great place to base your excursions!

Gorgeous location, Everything is very spread out so you must be up to lots of walking. Limited restaurant hours and no guest amenities in the lobby. A circuit blew so we lost power at 11:00pm. The pool has no changerooms or full showers or towels, and no robes are available so you have to walk soaking wet from pool to room. Pool itself is great.

Of all the places I’ve stayed in the state of Oregon, this was the absolute best. Incredible! I do housekeeping a very high-end $900 boutique hotel when I stay places and I have no critiques for this property. The staff was very nice! I just loved everything about it. There’s so much to do with the view was beautiful. Everything is clean and ready to go. I really had a great time!

Not worth the price!
This was our second time at Otter Crest and we were a little disappointed. The unit was run down and dated, the shower had a really weak flow and the carpet smelled like wet dog. Since we had a bottom unit, we could hear every footstep from the upper unit.
Our unit was on the upper ridge and somehow our view was partially obstructed by the roof tops of other units. For the price we were paying, we began looking for other options in the area.

The room was beautiful and clean, the staff was awesome, particularly the bell staff who shuttled us to and from the room from where our car was parked. This service was a life saver for my wife who had both knees replaced a few months ago, so would have had difficulty navigating the hilly grounds. Those same hilly grounds, however, will likely prevent us from returning since they kept us from using the hot tub, which we had looked forward to, and they kept us from accessing the beach. Just too many stairs for aging knees.

All of the above. staff was great drivers were great. i might suggest a couple minor things for the room.
Need to pull the bathroom door hardwear and remove the paint
Need to put a fresh coat of paint on the trim only. I did apt maint for 40 years and noticed these things right away. but the room was nice.

We loved our stay in the quiet,clean, comfy room. The view from our balcony was outstanding. We were fortunate to stay on a sunny clear day in January when the sunset was spectacular.
The tidepools on the beach were filled with sea treasures - lots of urchins, starfish, and shells of all kinds. 10/10 and will be back again at our next stay!

Perfect for my quiet retreat. The view from the room was spectacular! The extremely comfortable king bed looked onto the oceanfront. The bathroom and living area were comfortable. The staff were helpful. I was delighted by the very large ducks who obviously owned the place and sunned themselves in the road.

But it was a cool place. Not good for people that may have difficulty walking far but they do have bell hop to take you.

Loved the beautiful forested grounds and friendly staff. Golf carts were available with no wait to take us and our luggage to and from our room. We had a very lovely ocean view from room 341. The bed and sofa were comfortable, and the room was clean. Pool and hot tub were surprisingly crowded for a mid-winter stay, but still very enjoyable. We had a room with a fireplace, which was nice, but note that the fireplaces are not gas, they are pressed logs only. One log was provided with our room, but no lighter, so make sure to grab matches at the front desk when you check in.

The room was clean and included a small fridge and a microwave. I rented a room with ocean view so paid more for the one night(202). The staff was friendly. We got a ride on a golf cart to the room with our belongings. You don’t have to rides golf cart but it was a little ways to the room. The room also had WiFi . They send a form with u to fill out about problems or compliments but there is not any writing utensils in the room. Also there is a small coffee maker in the room but no directions on how many cups the coffee pad will make that is supplied by Folgers . Also nothing on the coffee on how many cups it will make. I would go back if needed to stay in the area.
