The staff were great! For a lower budget motel we had a pretty decent stay. Was a quiet place to sleep before heading out at 6am. Can’t say anything about breakfast because we left before it starts at 8am. The pool was nice but my family kept slipping on the hot tub steps so watch out for that, it’s very slippery!

Great ocean view from the 2nd floor room and the complimentary breakfast in the morning was delicious with self made waffles with the two waffle makers! I also got yogurt, bagel, string cheese, fruit and juice but there's also cereal & coffee + hot cocoa. In a separate building, there's a good sized swimming and a hot tub but unfortunately during my stay, the hot tub jets weren't working. Other than that, it's a great value and staff were extremely friendly and helpful! Highly recommended and I'll be back!

We enjoyed our stay. My biggest disappointment was that I paid for an ocean view room, and really feel that what we were given was a partial view room, due to the next property over blocking the view. The breakfast offerings were good, but not well stocked, despite everything being in the kitchen just waiting to be put out. Even after the desk person returned they showed no interest in wanting to be sure breakfast items were put out. Overall we would likely stay again, but only if the price was right.

This is a great basic hotel in a fantastic location. My room was clean and had a great ocean view. What it lacked were some updated items like there are no electronic charging/usb ports and almost no outlets for plugs. I will definitely stay here again but will better prepare for my charging needs.

Check in was 4pm. Our room was still being cleaned at 430 and was not ready until 5 pm. Room was clean and met our needs. The pool was enjoyable but hot tub and sauna not working. Staff was friendly. Very walkable. Would stay again.

Had a beach view room. Older property inside and out, but clean and bed was comfortable enough and Direct TV and internet worked well.
It was quite a walk to find beach access as built up on the cliff road overlooking Nye Beach, so that was unexpected. Good one night stay over all!

This was first time at this hotel and I’d never go back. It felt like it needed a good deep clean and the walls were paper thin. If you’re stuck on the first floor you will hear every noise amplified.

I always saw someone smoking weed or cigarettes. If you’re sensitive to smell, not the place for you.

A party started at midnight in the room above me and staff seemed like I inconvenienced them by letting them know.

Not to mention, no phones in the room, or a contact list. I had to walk in the middle of the night outside to the front office, which was locked, and unattended, in order to get a phone number to contact them, which they didn’t answer. Staff wasn’t apologetic or sincere about any of it. If anything they seem annoyed I disturbed their evening.

Overall, my worst hotel experience. I wouldn’t recommend.

It’s a great location and good price for a reason.

The advertised hot tub was closed during our whole stay. We wouldn't have stayed here had we known this, and would've canceled upon arrival if it weren't spring break and there were other places still available.

The breakfast is pretty good, but one major improvement would be some form of protein--hardboiled eggs maybe?

The location is great--walkable to Nye Beach.

We've stayed here many times but are kind of mad about the lack of a hot tub--they really need to update their website to reflect this. It's probably our last stay.

This was our first time staying in Newport. The location was perfect. Right next to the Nye Beach District, so we were able to walk down to the little shops. The view from our room was amazing. And our room was pretty good sized too. We got down to breakfast about 30 minutes before it ended, but the still had everything available for us. Unfortunately the hot tub was not open, but that did not take away from the experience. The staff was so friendly. Everything was clean from the rooms to the office to the parking lot. The bed was a little hard for my liking, but my husband LOVED it! We even appreciated the more \"dated\" wood furniture in the room. Gave it more character than the plain basic stuff a lot of hotels have these days. I think my only complaints would be the tv was small and our freezer needed a good thaw, but again, nothing that took away from the experience.
PS, unless we are mistaken, or maybe if the weather was nicer, we did have to drive to the beach, only a couple minutes down the road though.

Old hotel, no elevator in our section so had to walk up to the 3rd floor. Not ideal. Parking was ok, felt safe. Need’s new beds, new toilets, etc. This place really needs to be remodeled and updated ! I get what you pay for. The price was good. Breakfast was nice.

Rooms were clean, staff was super friendly and nice. It’s a decent place to stay, but it was really noisy all night long and the pool and hot tub were both closed so that was really disappointing. I tried getting in contact with the property front desk before we made the booking, but I could never get through just to automated bots or an agent just to book rooms. I wanted to check on the pool for the kids because that was my number one thing I was looking for. So we were really disappointed, but other than that it was a decent stay .

The room overlooks the beach but is obscured by another building behind it. Couple that with broken windows, and I’m pretty sure some people live here as apartments. The room overall was great but kind of an odd hotel. Hot tub was broken when I was there. Not bad for a budget hotel.

The rooms and the property was clean and well taken care of. The staff were polite. However, we had the misfortune of having a downstairs room, where the person/people above us were constantly walking/stomping around, moving furniture, dropping heavy items on the floor. I would expect their to be some noise, but this person was an obsessive walker, constantly moving. The first night, they were walking constantly until around 11:30'sh, and then around 5am they began where they left off. The second night, the same thing happened. At around 9:30pm, i called the desk to complain, and they said, \"Well technically its not quite 10pm, when we have quiet time\". Ughh. again the person walked around until 1130pm. I dont understand this. Me and my mom were just sitting on our beds watching the olympics. Why does this person continually walk around? They sounded very heavy, and i thought the celing was going to cave in at one point. If your going to stay here, try to get an upstairs room, or pray you dont have a maniac above you in their room.

Room was in fair condition- nothing special: threadbare towels and washcloths, no kleenex, but an excellent view. Breakfast could be improved with more options. It was very basic (bagels, cereal, yogurt, 2 waffle irons, oatmeal packets). Pool area was nice.

PET FRIENDLY HOTEL= wet dog smell in all the linens and bed. Beautiful view of the ocean over the top of the hotel in front of it, simple and easy check in, but we were a family w two kids stopping in for a night and didn’t realize it was a pet friendly hotel. Thank God no one was in our room the night before or the smell would’ve been unbearable for a no pet family.

If you have pets or travel with them this is the hotel for you. For us, it was a shock since we did it know but everything else was up to par and if it weren’t for the strong smell I would’ve given it 4 stars.

We spent maybe 5 minutes at this location, as we were and bringing a bit of food and a few personal items to our room, one of the locals who lives there started rallying up his friends. My girlfriend and I never got to stay the night. We were threatened off the property after being there for less than an hour.
