We'd totally book here again! This gem was clean, smelled great & was in a fantastic location. We were comfortable, us & our pup, Enzo. Our expectations of \"dog friendly\" rooms at hotels or resorts are typically low. We excpect a room that smells like wet dog & cleaner. The patio with a view & the grass outside for potty time was the cherry on top! Well that & all of the accessibile restaurants & whale watching spots nearby. We actually booked two nights later at the SCP Redmond Hotel, because the Depoe Bay location was so great! Our roadtrip was epic & we were thankful for a clean & cozy space to relax.

This was an amazing stay, from the moment I stepped foot onto the property to the moment I stepped out. Fantastic customer service, fantastic cleanliness. This was a home away from home, if not better. The living area was magnificent with a fire place, tv and board games which we utilized the 2 nights we were there. The rooms were basic yet clean, comfortable and serene. This is a jewel within the trees. You will not be disappointed! I tried uploading photos but they would not upload.

I love that they plant trees with the stays as well. Your money does go towards something to help the planet.

The place looks like it has been freshly renovated. The bed was great, the room was very clean. The View was amazing. The front desk closes at 6:00 p.m. but they are very communicative and give great instruction on how to access the property and your room after they leave. The property has a very home / vacation Lodge feel. It's a 30 second walk to the boat dock or Less than 5-minute walk to the Ocean

Lovely accommodations and nice property. The Harbor view is fascinating to watch and the ocean is a short walk. Several awesome State Parks are a 5-10 minute drive away. Such a cute little boutique hotel nestled in the teeniest little harbor where we saw seals every day. Clean, beautifully decorated, caring staff, and so dog friendly! From the yoga room to the homemade granola, they thought of everything. Just a short walk to the main road and wide ocean view. We will definitely be back.

Cute place, think converted home into a B&B. Great location on the harbor within walking distance to Dockside Charters. Room #1 was perfect for us with a pup, walk right out the patio to a grassy area. The room had a mini fridge and hairdryer, no coffee pot. I would have given a higher review but I was bugged their breakfast is labeled “exceptional” when what they offered is granola, apples&oranges, that’s not “exceptional” to me, and people use the amenities listings to choose lodgings.

What a beautiful property I would definitely stay here again. Jake at check-in was incredibly informative with excellent customer service skills. The granola and fruit were delicious. I loved the common areas, which were warm and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and the fireplace was cozy. The ice machine kept running out of ice, but that’s just a little thing that they need to fix.
I look forward to visiting this beautiful property again with my family!

Staff was friendly and very helpful. Minimalist and almost just right. Nice clean quiet room, homey common area. Just do not count on much of a breakfast. several reviews mention breakfast. It is really a crunchy continental breakfast. Some fruit, some granola, dairy and non-dairy milk and that is it. Some yogurt and juice would make it much better. The coffee was good. Some available evening snacks would be a nice addition. We had a good stay. The evening decaf coffee and tea option was appreciated.

Room was great, service was good. I needed an elevator though. One Ada room I didn’t know I’d need to ask. We had to use the stairs. Harder for someone who broke both her legs last March. I survived but it was more difficult. It seems they sprung a water leak in the main lobby. But all in all no complaints.

We loved this hotel. From otters and harbor seals right out our window, to very accessible town that would be walkable if it wasn't so wet and cold! Great Restaurants in town and lots of shopping. Whale Observatory was so informative. The hotel itself was very cosy, with a fire, comfy chairs, and some family board games. It was a great central location to explore the whole coast.

By far, our most favorite dog-friendly hotel we've ever had the pleasure of staying at. They even provided dog beds and bowls for our furry guests. Bottom level rooms have their own patio with grass, which was super convenient. Friendly staff and the owners were exceptional. Clean and modern. And the showers had extreme water pressure, which was a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again!

Lots of hotels say they're dog-friendly, but this one REALLY is. We enjoyed lounging in the common area, walking around the little park behind the hotel, and my big boy was super comfortable on the luxurious dog beds provided! Always an excellent time here, can't wait to come back.

SCP is a different concept in hotels. The desk is not staffed between 5P and 8A. You need to arrive before 5, or you’ll need to make arrangements to get into the building and into your room.

The room was sparse / modern, but clean and functional. There was no soap in the wall dispenser in the ahower. The room Had a nice view of the harbor, and a really nice common room on the main floor.

It was a unique experience.

I dont usually write a bad review. But folks save your money and go elsewhere. I paid 207.00 on a Sunday night for one of the worst sleep I have ever had. They charged me 100 dollars for so called incidental who knows what. we are a married couple in our mid 60's. Non drinkers, smokers ect... So upon arrival, we opened the small refridgerator to find a container with old olive oil / vinegar olives in a container. Then we looked under the bend and the frame had a missing leg. Also not vacumed under it. There was like some sort of a fluff pile from the bed I guess. The bed had a slump in the middle of it. So basically the bed had poor support. No plastic liners in the garbage. Their is nobody their after 6 P.M. We just felt that for 207 a night, It was really worth about 80 maybe. like I say folks go elsewhere, Its way way way overpriced.

I really enjoyed staying here, it was nice and clean, they had unique features like a hanging swing in the room, a community area with books and games and a tv and fire place, it was really homie. The draw backs were that the rooms were not very sealed off, they were pretty noisy and our dog could hear every little noise. It was also so hot in our room and there was no ac. Even with our heat turned off, we had to sleep with the door open which added to the noise for our dog. Overall it was lovely just a bit warm for us!

Everything's good except the check in. We planned to arrive after 6pm. So I called earlier in the day to ask about instruction and I was told it is easy to get in after 6pm. When I arrived after 6pm, there is no staff and the door locked. I called the first 2 numbers and no answer. Finally I saw the 3rd number to get the access code for the door. When I called earlier, the staff could have given me the access code and lessened my frustration at the locked door.

The metal frame bed was loose and squeaky. Mattress was a very cheap you could fill the bars in the bottom bedframe. Think it has potential if they invest a bit more stuff for their customers overnight day.

The stay here was different. It doesn’t feel like a hotel but it also doesn’t feel like an Airbnb. There’s a lock on the main lobby door for after hours check in and to come and go as you please. We had a downstairs room. The shower area is small. There was no hot water in the evening but plenty in the morning. Shower curtain was a little dingy. There’s a small fan that could have used a really good dusting. We didn’t feel safe enough to sleep with the French doors open, again we were on the ground floor and there is a marina with stairway access right there. It’s within walking distance to the Depoe Bay Area.

Quiet and clean little place with an eco-modern vibe. Right on a busy little marina nestled in a tiny bay, so it’s rather noisy outside way before daylight- however nice little white noise machine is provided in rooms. Watching the fishmen and whale watchers enter and exit the bay from the private patios is quite relaxing.

The property was nicely decorated with a sunny deck facing the harbor. There was a short walk past the harbor to a little park. We saw seals and otters. However, it felt like we were the only ones there. Attention to details seemed more about aesthetic than comfort of the guest. We didn’t need a swing or a white noise machine in the room, we needed extra blankets, but the blankets were very small and thin like the kind you get at Walmart for a dollar.There was no in room coffee and the breakfast really could not be called breakfast. Fortunately, Shelby the clerk was super sweet and gave us a Keurig for our room. Otherwise, coffee is not served until 8 o’clock. And breakfast was literally a quarter cup of granola in a paper bag. We were not able to take advantage of the breakfast on our stay. All that being said, if you like minimalism without a lot of fuss, this may be the place for you. For the price we paid, I expected a little bit more.

This place was beautiful, clean, friendly and affordable. The lobby had plenty to do with board games, a couple of swinging chairs, binoculars, puzzles and more. There was a quaint gym area and a laundry area. The porch was beautiful and the chairs comfy. The view was nice. We were looking right out at the world’s smallest harbor. The swing chair in the room was such a fun touch. The bed was comfy and the tv was mounted so we could watch from bed easily. Everything was very clean and the staff was very friendly but also gave plenty of space for us to explore around the property. We were also very close to the main shopping and food area of Depoe Bay. Right next to the ocean as well.
