We recently stayed here for half the summer pricing. We loved that the beach was so close and we could see whales spouting in our room. We enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. The staff was nice and breakfast good. The room was run down though. The tile in the kitchen was cracked and broken in five or six places and we came close to cutting our feet on it repeatedly. The cabinets in the kitchen and both bathrooms were in very poor shape missing stain and finish on the doors. The kitchen was missing essentials and had three forks. The utensils looked like they came from the dollar store. There was no cutting board, no can opener, etc. Most of the cabinets were empty. The couch in our room had no back rest and looked like a chase lounge. It was not really usable for even two people. The pool and hot tub had green around them and looked like it needed a good cleaning. We would stay here again only because of the closeness of the beach.

We were kind of put off by the morning staff person. We came in for breakfast, and the person didn't acknowledge us at all. We waited by the entryway, and heard her acknowledge those that came in right behind us. Very disappointing. Kitchen staff on both days was extremely awesome. He acknowledged us, came and cleaned the table as we set. He made our experience 100 percent better. Awesome gentleman.

We stayed there for 5 nites. Everything was only OK. The room rate was a different amount for every single nite! The \"suite\" that we had was spacious enough, but there was no table and chairs, so no place to sit and eat or work if needed. There was a small fridge and microwave, so where do you eat - on the bed? The screen door to the balcony was torn and slid very roughly on the track - like one of those cheap 50's aluminum screen doors. The balcony railing was extremely rough - paint peeling and splinters everywhere. Looked really bad. The breakfast was typical eggs, sausage (no bacon), biscuits and gravy, cereals, breads and yogurt. But the eating area was very small - only 4 indoor tables! Our room phone was broken, and the bathroom sink was about 90% plugged, so draining was very slow. And we had to just about beg the front desk to get housekeeping to our room once during our stay. The ocean view was nice. We won't be back.

Only criticism we have is there was no table in the room so we didn't have a place to sit and eat. Otherwise, clean, bed's comfortable, sufficient hot water for soaking tub and the glass enclosure for the shower let's you watch the surf while you shower.

My fiancé and I went for our 1yr anniversary and we could not of have a better stay. The glass rain shower was so romantic. The deep soaking tub with a view of the ocean while soaking. The fireplace just so perfect. And we were able to take Lily out little four legged child….superb!!!!

We love staying at the Lincoln Sands when we visit Lincoln city! Right on the beach with beautiful views! The nearby tide pools are a favorite as well. The staff are extremely friendly. We especially love the chowder and cookies ❤️ we also really enjoy the pool. Thanks for always taking such good care of our family!

Loved our stay. Breakfast is always hot and th evening snacks are always perfect for an evening beach walk. Only complaint would be the dust in the room. The headboard,all the wall art, and higher up surfaces were pretty dusty. Even the bathroom door had dust built up which made me skeptical of how clean the handles were in all the rooms.

My dog found a condom wrapper and used condom in the room! There was debris behind the in room soaking tub. Each morning we woke to a knocking in the bathroom wall. We've stayed here before and it was great but not this time. I told the front desk about the unclean room and the knocking and we were offered cookies. Won’t be staying here again.

Cons: Internet was basically nonexistent, room had a little bit of a smell at first. Property is kind of outdated. Breakfast is definitely sub-par packaged food but it’s plentiful. Parking lot is small.

Pros: Room size, staff was very courteous, dogs allowed. Right on the beach, large TVs, kitchenette was nice. Location is right off 101. Free breakfast every morning, snacks in the evening.

The air filtration system was very audible and kept us awake. There wasn't any individual seating nor a desk to sit at. There wasn't any lighting over the microwave, retrig. and sink area. The Keurig was not operating correctly, masking tape was placed around the cup seating area. The alarm clock was not operational. The entire glass shower was centered in the middle of the hotel room, without handrails, a bench or privacy. the toilet closet did not have handrails. The breakfast offered was in an entirely different building, across two parking lots.
It was our wedding anniversary and was gifted a bottle of Elderberry Lemonade, candies and a card! Thank you.

Nice warm pool, large (very) large room but no table?? There was multiple spaces for a table and we just had to put our stuff on the floor…. And eat our food on two stools.
Balcony was super small but nice.
Nice to have your own bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room.
Don’t even get me started on the SHOWER … the design makes water get damn near everywhere and you have multiple towels on the floor …. also the rain shower head was installed incorrectly and was leaking/spraying everywhere.
Despite noting we were there for a kids birthday and we came there for the pool, they put us in the farthest room possible. BUT they did get him a cupcake and a bottled lemonade.
BREAKFAST was good but you shouldn’t put “buffet” in the breakfast description…. Biscuits and gravy, good sausages, and you can build it up good enough.
They didn’t have trays for eating breakfast in your room so all I could get was a coffee for my self and the rest for my kid. When I asked Preston … if they have trays he said … “you’ll just have to use your hands” …. Okay… give me a piece of cardboard man… I’ll make it work
I was not about to make that walk again.
SAUNA water was shutoff and sauna was not heating up which is a large reason of why we booked there.
Serious DUST collection in fans.
The bathroom is literally just a toilet and no fan in there. Beware if your staying with a man…

All in all for the over $300 for a Sunday - Monday night booking…. I’m really disappointed.

The property was very well maintained. They staff was extremely friendly and the guy that serves breakfast is so nice and kept asking if everything was ok or if we needed anything. The breakfast was fresh and really good. The room was better than expected. I was a one-bedroom suite, lots of pillows on the bed. They offer salmon chowder and chocolate chip cookies for free after 5! What a pleasant surprise. We will come again!

We had a great time. Right on the ocean with fantastic views. The breakfast is really good and the chowder is also. We had the room with the king bed in the main room looking at the ocean and fireplace. The large shower is really nice. The only problem we had was, no table or chairs. There is plenty of room for a small table and chairs by the mini frig. There is nowhere to sit and eat anything. Otherwise we love the place.

The staff just wanted to up sale me on their rooms. They wanted me to cancel with Hotels and book directly with them. Then when we asked to see the room. I just about died. The see through shower was between the living room and the bedroom and all glass. That's what I want to see my husband washing his ass while I'm watching big bang theory on tv. The front desk Preston was pushy and full of himself. He wouldn't even check us in with the Hotels.com reservations. When I texted Hotels.com, I was received by the rudest person ever. I never even stayed at this hotel because it was so dark and designed so poorly.

Very clean and spacious room with new furnishings. Loved the fireplace and deep bath tub. Great view of the ocean. Easy access to the beach. Less than a 10 minute walk to the tide pools. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Located on a quiet street. Pet friendly. Large TV that can swivel and connect to ChromeCast on your phone. I liked the glass shower, but keep in mind it’s visible from all parts of the room and has no curtain. Anyone in the room can see you. I would definitely stay again.
