This was a fabulous place, ❤️ that they drain the hot tub after every visit!!! The property & room was very clean. The staff was all very friendly. The bed was comfortable! We will for sure go back!! Commercially run hot tubs are limited by law at 104°. The tub was as hot as is legal. Parking is super easy. Beach access is easy if you can manage stairs. It’s an older hotel that’s done a decent job of keeping themselves relevant.

Rooms very nice and clean, my only complaint is how am I supposed to know if I'm getting a hot tub in my room or not. They don't specify This. I was disappointed when I walked in and didn't see a tub in the room or a porch hot tub. Just a regular room. I only stayed one night and spent most of my time at the casino so I didn't make too much of a fuss about it. But definitely could've been better experience.

Well they stuck us in a closet side room after paying over $300. Then got moved to a room that had ants. WOKE UP AT 10:58 am for a courtesy call from very rude staff Telling me i have 2 minutes to vacate room. Then when i explained the issues the day before and didnt even get my room til after 5 pm. But rushed out exactly at 11 am. I HAVE cleaned hotel rooms and the maid could have started on another room. NEVER again will i spend my money at this place. A complete rip off.

The room was fine. It was clean and updated. In room ammenities were adequate. The experience was not what we expected. I guess if you use pictures of the most flattering angles from the beach facing rooms, you get the impression you will have a view. But that was not the case. We had a view of the roof on the building next to us. And the next door hotel. A small window of ocean visiblity off in the distance. Parking is a little bit of a problem. Seems like there were more vehicles than rooms available. And apparently everyone had to drive enormous trucks that took up more space and stuck out into the driving lane creating very tight pinch points. We did manage to squeeze in on the property, but it was very inconvenient. Needless to say we will not be staying at this group of properties again. Not for the price we paid and what we got for it. At least we were not 1 floor down with a view of a wall.

Extremely thin walls (heard people walking up and down the hall at 2am) , sand on the floor when we walked in, floor was overall dirty. I put white socks on and they were black after walking around the room. The bathroom sink was not bolted to the wall so it was practically toppling over if you just touched it. Weird smell in the room.

One nice thing was the stairs that led straight to the beach.

The room was clean and modern but there were no suitcase stands or tables or dressers or even hooks to hang stuff on. Since the floor got sandy from our shoes this was very awkward. The directions on the website sent us to a different hotel and the lobby we checked in to was another hotel. Very confusing. We didn’t know there was no elevator and I’ve had both knees replaced in the last 23 months. My husband had knee surgery 3 weeks prior. Otherwise we had a great time exploring the coast.

So the property was fine. Most of the issues were normal on the coast; doors that stick and sand everywhere. The toliet was broken, but was fixed while we went to dinner. The bathroom and front door stuck bad enough I needed help opening them. There were a lot of stairs that were steep so I struggled being disabled. The biggest problem came with their lying at what we got. I paid for a room that had a private hot tub on the balcony. What we got was a jacuzzi tub next to the bed. When I asked why the respinse was \"that's what you get for booking on Expedia. The photos do not match what you pay for.

The pictures on Expedia where nothing like what the room was , the room had a horrible mold smell and when I asked if I could upgrade or pay extra for a different room the lady told me there was nothing available, so I ended up having to find another hotel that night, after getting settled into my new hotel I realized I still had the first key card and went to return it , and upon doing so they had a shift change, I explained what happened to the new employee that was working and she said the other female lied completely and could have changed our room , and that they had plenty more available. Not sure why she was such a b .... But either I will never be going back also I will be turning the hotel into the Oregon department of health for horrible mold issues that they don't want to address, this hotel is horrible all the way around save your money and time ....

We usually stay here often and no issues but this time the pictures of the room I reserved said a hot tub and showed pics. Then after we checked in they told us the fireplace had a gas leek so they had to turn it off and there is a space heater inn closet. They said there would be a discount taken off at check out and that did not happen either. Not very happy with our stay

Although the weather was chilly it was nice to come back and enjoy our own hot tub on the deck . Room was nicely updated. Wish the patio door had a screen or the big window for fresh air and to hear the sounds of the waves. Shower needed a better cleaning but all in all we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I came here years ago for our honeymoon... it was fantastic. Unfortunately in those years it seems the standard may have slipped. Room was very underwhelming, staff was not eager to help when trying to reach the front desk (no they were not busy, we had just left the front desk 10 minutes prior to trying to call), it is nice that it is very close to the beach, but other than that I do believe this will be our last time coming.

If you're scheduling through Expedia make sure you call and ask if your room has a hot tub. It's advertised like it is but we didn't get one.
No AC in the room - shower was nice. We were able to get delivery from Galuccis pizza which was nice. Parking is not great - even if you have a small car. Very tight spaces. I rated this place a 3

Overall the room was ok, however there were used q-tips on the floor under the sink, garbage under the couch, and spots that looked like blood on the comforter. The cleaning stuff came 15 minutes before check out and asked us if we could hurry so they could clean the room. The hot tub was nice and front desk staff were friendly.

My reservation was for Beachfront manor, but turns out that it’s under renovation and “having plumbing issues” so they gave us a room at the starfish manor instead and called it an upgrade. It was dirty, hard beds, no screen on window that face the wall of the building next door instead of the beach. Had to leave the window with no screen open all night because there is no air conditioning in the rooms. The stairs down to the beach are a long steep puzzle and hard to find. The toiletries hooked to wall in the shower were empty. Overall, I really regret this reservation.

Fire place doesn’t work. Doesn’t have any heating other than a space heater. Owners don’t seem like they are trying to fix that. Other than that, unbeatable view if you are on the second or 3rd floor with hot tub. Right on the beach. Hot tub is nice, heats up to 104 degrees. Ready to go. Overall 4/5.

Do not let the pictures fool you. These pictures are not for this hotel. The king room is just a small box. The window is facing a brick wall. There is no couch. There wasn’t even a bath tub for my kids to bathe in. Tiny shower. We couldn’t wait to get out of there in the morning.

Terrible experience… no bathtub, no hot tub…. Did not have AC just a nasty box fan, extremely dark lights.. heater did not work some gas thing woke up freezing…. We were on our honeymoon and asked to be moved to a hot tub room they said no not unless we paid for an additional 2 days.. we had a pretty basic place for our head at night.. the office is not on site at night you have to walk in the dark to a different hotel down the road.. I am just ver disappointed in their service.. not even a help with accommodating anything knowing it was our honeymoon the manager hung up on me… I do not recommend.. they also own the starfish manor fyi

The pull down shade in our room was broken and the curtains were not enough to keep out the light. There was a light right outside the window so it was always bright in our room, even at night. There was no ac, and just a rusty old fan. So we had no choice but to keep the windows open for some air circulation. But the people next door were having a wild party and the hotel staff allowed them to continue all night. Also, it’s five stories but there is no elevator so be prepared to carry your things down and back up several flights of stairs.

Good proximity to food and the casino. It’s a little tricky to check in because you have to go to the hotel next door to do so. But the staff was friendly, the room was very clean and lovely. There is no A/C so I can imagine on a really hot summer day it would get too warm in the room. However, I don’t suspect that’s a big deal all too often. Would stay again for sure.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights here.

The Bad:
1. Cold handle on water jet tub was stripped and would come off in your hand. It still worked but, we had to careful.
2. No fan in the bathroom so if anyone had to go #2 it was shared with everyone else in the room. 3:The outside deck area could use some TLC. Alot of chipped paint on the door and rails.
4: Medium sized burn or stain on sun shade that made us think twice about what it could be.
5: 51 stairs from our room to the parking lot if you have a room right on the beach. Its doable, but if you're not prepared, its brutal.

The GOOD.
1: Lets start with the view. Impeccable! Its everything you will want in a surfside room. No one was as close to the sand as we were.
2:Beautiful room. Everything looked classic modern. The sink faucet was modled after a bamboo water feature, and there were beach rocks in the clear hand soap dispenser that kept with the beach vibe. Wondeful small touches. It looked exactly like the photo, even down to the bathrobes.
3: The big jet tub. Oh boy. This thing is great for us bigger folks. I havent been able to stretch out in a tub since I was a kid. The jets were great on my tired body after walking on the beach all day. LUXURIOUS. Highly recommended if you're taller than average.
4: Once you close the windows and door its super quiet if thats what you need to sleep well.
5: Wolfgang Puck coffee and water bottles complimentary.

We would definitely stay here again. 4 stars!

Website shows all rooms besides queen rooms have a view, they dont. Our room had zero view of the ocean. There also was no close beach access despite the site saying there was. It was a decent walk to get to the beach from our room.

Bathroom wasnt super clean, the area around the bottom of the shower was grimey and the light switch plate and wall were visibly dirty.

Not worth the money at all.

The room had an amazing view of the ocean. Ease of access to the ocean and a hose to wash sand off our feet. The bed and linens were comfortable. Hot water was great. Sinks were pretty. Plenty of towels. Coffee. Waters. Some shampoo & soap. Lotion. Gas fireplace for heat.

Using a 3rd party to book the room i wanted for us (balcony & hot tub) failed. And though my reservations said we got the room, we did not and hotel was unable to rectify. TV remote missing. Got 1 channel. Toilet didnt work real well. It needed a lever replacement. Took the back off to fix whenever we used it. Jetted tub was decent size.
