The room service is non existent. If you’re going with kids bet you’ll have sand all over the place. You have to fight for extra towels. You’re paying for the view and the hot tub.

Booking through a third party (Hotels.com), we were given a substandard room with old everything. Mattress and pillows were awful. No hangers, shower cap, nor hair dryer in room. You had to go to desk and ask for everything. No robes to wear to swimming pool even though they were shown in ad. Pool and sauna left much to be desired. Steam room was out of order. After 2nd night we asked and were given another much better room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I just think the ads were misleading as to the quality of the facilities.

When we got there, the keys to our room was missing and we waited a while and front desk attendant sent maintenance to check if our room they were giving us was empty but their radios made it hard for them to communicate. So they gave us their spare key but it made it pretty sketchy. But once we got into the room it was so clean and spacious and we made sure it was empty and locked it pretty good.

We had a wonderful stay in an ocean view room with the regular amenities and comfortable beds. We appreciated the carpeting and the commodious space. There was good access via a ramp to a great beach. The game room was nice. Check-in was a real pleasure because of an outstandingly friendly and helpful staff member. The adjacent restaurant offered an ocean view , good service, and some great and some not so good entre choices (pasta was a watery mess). But that was the only negative. We will be back.

I absolutely love this hotel. This is the first hotel I have stayed at that actually looked like the photos. The view was also amazing considering it was advertised as partial view. The decorations in the room were super cute. Under the surface seemed grungy, but fine for the price. Location is great. However, I would not stay here again- even if it were free. My husband and I stay in lots of hotels, ranging from high end to motel 6. I’ve never gave consideration to bed reviews or anything of the sort- some are better than others but we are in our 30s and active so not typically affected by a mattress. Woke up after the first night in literal pain, both of us. Barely slept. The second night was just as bad. Mattress is TERRIBLE!

I was supposed to get an ocean view and got a view of the parking lot. Only one window in whole room. As soon as we walked into the room there was a weird smell, like freshly painted room, and within 15 minutes I had a headache and could not stay. Had to leave and book another room at a different hotel. That hotel and room was definitely not a 3star place at all

Not even mid. Kind of gross close up. Cleaned a booger off the wall. My kids weren’t allowed in the hot tub. No AC and there were smokers outside so I couldn’t open the window. Lots of creepy homeless looking people around. Felt like there was a crackhead smoking outside each time we left our room. An old guy with a sleeping bag was tripping in a stairwell one morning. Only decent thing here was the remodeled bathroom view right on the beach. The room was very basic and just a white walled room with nothing special. Could use some art work….or paint to cover all the finger marks. Mattress had a crunchy plastic sound and feel - staples exposed in the corners of the nasty box spring. Front desk homey was chill though. I wouldn’t go back here.

The beach view was amazing and the bed was very comfortable. The downsides: Everything in our room was dusty; nightstand, the chair, the shelving in the bathroom was covered in dust. There were strands of black hair in our bed, the balcony was slanted downward like it had dropped several inches, and very narrow so it was difficult to have more than one person sitting outside at one time. Went to take a shower and a 12" x 12" box in the ceiling fell open and I was staring up at a black hole above the shower. I had to figure out how to close this hole. Very weird. The refrigerator was not turned on, so our food and beverages we had put in there were warm. Nothing to hang on our door for maid service or for privacy. We stayed 2 days. Will most likely not be back.

The room got pretty warm overnight so we opened the sliding door for air, which was nice. Nice view of beach and gorgeous sunset. Staff was helpful when I called for directions when GPS sent us to a different place. Parking in some areas is close but doable even with a full size truck. Would stay again.

The cost was reasonable. Expedia, discounts helped.

The staff were a bit off, though we and they adjusted to make things work. (No pool towels were available for the adult time for pool and hot tub use) we used our room towels, then replenished those after.

The rooms coffee pot was broken, and the available outlet was loose. And the room had a heavy scent of cleaning product.

But it was close to the beach.

This is a great family friendly place, location can’t get any better and on the beach. Staff are friendly and helpful. Big shout out to the maintenance department. I feel bad I can’t remember his name, but he was super attentive helped my family out getting the fire pit started and he was so friendly. Rooms are clean and the beds are amazing. My only recommendation is each room should be stocked with a small broom, you tend to track in a lot of sand as you come and go.

Nothing was good. The restaurant was horrible. The Chef did not even know that Clam Linguini was supposed to come with Clam sauce ! Also, one person's plate was served with a roll with no butter and the other no roll and no butter. I have recently read in another comment journal that the hotel is failing and the restaurant as well. Wish I could have seen it before we wasted our money.

One staff member was very knowledgeable while another staff member was not all there. We came to the hotel at 3:56 and was told by this staff member we couldn't check in until after 4:00. We had to wait until 4:15. Mind you, the parking lot was empty! The towels in the room were somewhat efficient but what hotel only provides one wash cloth for a double bed room? The outlets were broken, the lamp would not light, and there were no up to date plugins for cellphone and/or computer. d

We liked our room on the 4th floor, even though it was dated. I wish they would install air conditioning. We do understand that it doesn’t get hot there often, but if it’s sunny and over 60* outside it gets very hot in the room. Also if you’re getting a room with a fireplace be aware that the fireplace will be on at all times and will heat your room up even more. You can’t turn it off completely. We had a nice big TV but unfortunately it didn’t really work, it had only 5-6 channels that actually worked with kid’s cartoons channels mostly, so that was unfortunate.

I love this place!! How many hotels offer outdoor firepits or indoor ping pong for the rainy days? Rooms were perfect, and the hot tub/spa being adults-only, in a separate area from the family-friendly pool meant a place to really relax. Going back, to be sure!

The oceanview and fireplace is great. The room and bathroom are a bit aged but clean. The only thing I have a complaint about is the beds. We had two queen beds and they were the most uncomfortable beds ever. The side I was sleeping on was broken so the bed tilted towards the floor. I had to lay flat all night just to keep from rolling off. I did let the front desk know and they just said they were sorry it was uncomfortable.
Overall the property is nice. They could just use some new beds.

The room was clean but old and out dated, they are not keeping up on the quality of the rooms. We have stayed here before a number of years ago and it was awesome. The room was clean, updated. The ocean view was tremendous. It really is a good value for the money. Access to the beach is fantastic.

Just a couple notes. Noise between rooms is rough. Whenever the people above us walked around you could hear it. If they moved a chair it was like a bulldozer driving on us. Sadly they were doing that till about 3 AM and then early the next morning, not sure they slept - we certainly struggled to. I think using a noise machine app on my phone all night is all that saved us. I would have called the front desk but our phone in the room was dead.

I'd say the pool was a bit rough. Kids and I stayed for maybe 20 mins but was crowded, cold, and just not fun.

Room was a little on the rough side. My partner had to open patio door because it was so heavy due to no longer being on rollers and then the door screen fell off. We were looking forward to the hot tub but there were so many chemicals we both could hardly open our eyes it was stinging so bad and it hurt our lungs. I took pictures of everything so we weren’t charged the dammit deposit, but you can definitely tell they don’t use their damage deposits for the actual rooms they just pocket it rooms were heavily damaged holes in walls deep scratches in doors, but overall the hotel was pretty good.

One bed had hair in the bed and bathroom door had brown stuff stuck to it. Did look like it was chocolate but definitely not appealing. Also stains on floor around toilet.
Pool was great and there is a playroom for kids that was really fun. Check in was easy and staff was very friendly.

The staff were so very kind and helpful. Love the fire pits and the little game they have for finding the three objects, even if we didn’t find any of them. The rooms could use an update and more towels, two towels for three people just isn’t reasonable. The pool and hot tub needs a major remodel, the trees inside were dying and there was lots of dust and mildew around pool and spa ceilings.
