My family and I stayed in an ocean view room and it was stunning. We were bummed to only have one night as we were just passing through town. The location is great. We walked along the beach, swam in the pool and enjoyed the fire pit. We crammed as much as we could in. The breakfast was your typical buffet. The staff was awesome!

The room was nicely decorated and the view was incredible. We really enjoyed the common area with the fire pit and the ability to sit in lawn chairs and watch the ocean. We'll be staying here again.

The location of this property is absolutely perfect, situated right on the beach which allowed for some wonderful long walks. The staff were incredibly helpful, courteous, and always responded to our requests immediately. Our room was both clean and very comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent with a fantastic variety of options for vegetarians and eggetarians. I highly recommend this place for a wonderful stay!

We started only a night as there were travel mixups so I could not give a full assessment. However it was quite expensive for what we were getting and I did not have a very welcoming experience at Check-in. Again I would say my experience is probable not typical and the hotel is on rye beach so big selling point.

This is an amazing property. Easy to find, great parking. The views from the room are beyond stunning. The stairs to get down to the beach are easy to navigate and lead to the most pristinely beautiful beach we visited on our entire trip. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. The sitting area is exactly as the pictures portrayed. The breakfast service is top-notch full of delicious options, warm real food and cared for by friendly and generous staff members. We loved the Surfland so much we added on another night at the end of our trip. Highly recommend

Very clean room, love the sound of the ocean, everybody that worked there was very helpful, nice patios with a view of the ocean, comfortable and quality, bed and bedding, very cute outside seating area with fireplaces, morning breakfast, welcome treat for my dog, and I would stay there again. The beach is not convenient and a very steep walk down stairs. It’s a great location right in Lincoln city, and there’s lots to do. You can always just drive to a beach that’s easier to access like Siletz Bay.

The room was lovely, a great view of the beach. A nice remodel from the previous Nordic Inn. Unfortunately, there is no elevator, so anyone with a walking disability needs to do stairs from 1st and 3rd floors. The path down to the beach is long, steep and uneven, so again, disabled guests may not be able to maneuver. Breakfast was good, staff friendly, helpful and kind. Would recommend , disabled people should review accessibility needs.

First and most pictures are very misleading, secondly room was ok bathroom very small , beds are not very comfortable head sinks down , no outlets next to the beds very odd , smells like propane half of the time , stairs to go down to the beach are falling apart and can easily slip , breakfast was terrible , hotel is very old and woren down . For 3 nights paid over $1000 . That’s not it . Don’t fall for the pictures , you will be disappointed. That place needs a renovation for what they charge . Be warned .

This is my 3rd visit. I love staying. I will note that the hotel doesn’t have AC which has never been a problem since it is always so cool at the coast. This was an unusually warm night but the staff helped me with a fan and I was very comfortable.

Property is well maintained and has a cool little sitting area with fires to keep you warm. Within walking distance of food and shopping gas well. Plenty of parking. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the hotel. They offered ocean-view rooms without balconies, which made the ocean appear closer from the bed. The staff was friendly, and they provided a good variety of hot meals for breakfast. My husband wanted to get me keepsakes for my birthday. They found reasonably priced and stylish hoodies in their lobby. However, the staff didn’t try to get a new one until we asked. She had gotten one with wrinkles from the back of the front desk and handed it to us without any packaging. I would appreciate it if they had at least packaging tissues and a gift bag.

Also, vinyl flooring would be more attractive than carpet.

The beach access offered a nice deck and benches that seemed newer. The hotel was located higher up, requiring a quiet number of steep steps to reach the beach level. Some guests might prefer to stay on the deck area instead of going downstairs.

I am 62 inches tall, and my feet did not even touch the floor when sitting on the toilet.
Bed was a little too firm for me, but I realize everyone has different comfort zones .
When the room cleaning person came to our door and knocked, she only waited about 10-15 seconds before she opened the door. Fortunately we were fully dressed.

We booked the balcony room & slept with the doors open, amazing! Super clean, french press coffee was a treat, access to the beach was easy & breakfast was decent. Excellent stay, didn't get to enjoy any amenities but we saw plenty of other guests making use of the fire pit, pool, etc. Will definitely stay here again.

Great location with fantastic views off our patio. We had a dog friendly room and were greeted with a goodie bag for our pup and a follow up call to make sure the room met our needs. Loved the fire pit area and hot and cold food continental breakfast was definitely a perk. The stairs to the beach our tricky. I would recommend walking over the public beach a few blocks away for easier access.

Great breakfast, friendly staff, clean and classy room, BEAUTIFUL view from every room, free parking, easy access to the beach, heated pool, hot tub&sauna, it’s literally all you need! We've stayed here twice and we plan to stay here any time we’re driving through Lincoln City! The only one thing that was a little inconvenient was that there isn’t a changing area or bathroom in the pool area, so you need to walk to your room anytime you need to change or use the restroom, it’s just a small inconvenience that doesn’t deter us from staying here again!

Also, the TV could not be accessed by my laptop or enabled me to access with Xfinity, Disney, etc. I know Sailor Jacks was different.
