Stayed at the property for 6 days. Front desk to cleaning staff were great. Received daily text messages to schedule housekeeping. Room was updated and modern. Bed was very comfortable. Walk-in showers, no issues with pressure or hot water.

The property exterior was dated and walkway’s and stairs were completely serviceable but what is expected of a property that is basically on the beach.

Several great coffee shops that offered limited breakfast and pastries are a short walk away. Have vacationed on the Oregon Coast for over 40 years staying in multiple properties ranging from highest to places that it didn’t matter if sand filled wetsuits were on the floor. Planning on making this property our go to from now on.

The location was excellent and right on the beach. We stayed in the jetted tub suite and it was spacious and clean. The hotel was a bit dated and the room may benefit from a remodel, but it was clean and well maintained. The windows howled at night with the beach wind, which my daughter wasn't a fan of, but wasn't too bad. The view from the jetted tub to the ocean was great and very relaxing! The office staff was quick to respond to needed assistance when the tv wouldn't work. It was fixed immedaitely! It had a nice little mini kitchen area with sink and mini fridge and microwave with a few basic dishes as well! Overall, was a good stay! Good value for what you got!

The property was great and has amazing views. My kids enjoyed the pool. There is no elevators so be prepared to walk the stairs. And they have hard keys so don’t forget to bring them before you shut the door because it is set to lock when shut. And don’t lose it. Overall we had a great time.

I have to say - location, location, location! Having a place like this right on the beach, where you can sit out on your little patio and watch the waves, is truly a wonderful experience. Having the Jacuzzi tub in the room was also a nice touch.

You could see that this place has been around for a while, as the natural wear and tear of life has left its mark. But it was clean and the people at the front desk were friendly and helpful.

Would I go there again? Already making plans!

Check- in: we were early and asked about early check-in. Front person said would text us and gave us a key to access pool. We really appreciated that.
Rooms: clean and recently updated. Bed was comfortable. Had all we needed. The location and view cannot be beat.
Price: great
Pool: the pool is my only complaint. It was out of control with unattended. Children splashing everywhere. It was very unpleasant experience. And the water was cold.

This was a great place to stay, the rooms were esthetically updated so very nice, clean and comfortable, the room has a balcony to watch the beach waves which was a PLUS, we got there with plenty of time to enjoy the pool/hot tub for about an hour. The whole experience was perfect and I would definitely return

We loved our stay at Sandcastle. The renovations are really well done. The shower was a really nice upgrade. It’s much nicer than the pictures. The staff was very pleasant and we appreciated the double decker mini fridge. You can actually fit a tub of ice cream in it, not just an ice tray and a frozen burrito. We’ve stayed in LC many times, and this location is really the best and is closest to the water line. I like that it’s a little tucked, so there aren’t as many people on the beach. It feels a little more private. It’s worth paying a little more money for. We’ll definitely come back when in LC.

The people above us stomped around and had kids running and jumping until well after midnight and it started again before 7 am. Complained to management. Nothing was done. We had a long day and flight and were just trying to rest. Blow dryer didnt work.

We got the deluxe room and it was very nice. Modern and clean. Just didn’t like how there wasn’t a lot of amities like a hair dryer. We also noticed that the TV didn’t like have streaming services like Netflix or youtube so we were stuck with watching spongebob. But besides that, we enjoyed our time there.

If you want your high end boujee hotel? This isn’t the place. However, if you’re looking for a place right by the ocean and the comfort of all the seaside has to offer, please stay here. The Tim was very clean, there’s a cute little wall fireplace. A table for two and coffee to make in the room. We loved staying here and we will definitely be back in the future.

The location of this hotel is incredible and I love that each room faces the ocean! My family stayed in a “kitchenette unit” which has a separate room with the second bed which is super nice when traveling with kids. Unfortunately there were some upkeep issues with the property as a whole. Our unit was clean and it did seem like they’re in the process of updating but smelled like mold. The bathroom was spacious but the window was broken, tub drain didn’t work properly, and the towels smelled a bit funky. All of this is somewhat to be expected from an older hotel on the coast but was definitely a bit offputting. The pool/hot tub were well kept, clean and stocked with plenty of towels. All in all a decent stay for the price especially considering the views and beach access

The location was perfect and directly on the beach! Beautiful room with balcony that appears to be recently updated. LOVED the electric fireplace feature, updated bathroom, fridge and microwave. The view was incredible and you can hear the waves from the bed. Also, had a nice warm hot tub and pool that was indoors. Plenty of parking too. Awesome location I would come back again and again!

When you write a review to a hotel on a beach, it’s hard not to praise it. The view and experience are spectacular!
Well… saying that, hotel itself is not trying very hard to win its customers - location and absence of competition on a beach would do it. Main office closes at 10:00pm, and it does not offer coffee in a morning. Refrigerator was switched off when we came (we had medicine with us requiring refrigeration ). No instructions on how to use gas fireplace (or info why it switched off). On a bright side - large spacious room, balcony chairs, coffee machine in a room ( a bit dated and basic coffee )
And - ocean right at your feet with dramatic sunsets and stars above… I did not want to leave! I could stay there for a week,,,

The Sandcastle has no elevator, however the staff brought up our suitcases.
The room was small, but very nicely renovated and very clean, with a wonderful view and balcony overlooking the beautiful beach in Lincoln City. We enjoyed our one nite stay here, on the way to Cannon Beach!

Great location. Room balconies overlook the ocean and beach. Older property but fully updated/renovated rooms. The bathroom was fabulous. Huge shower with rain head shower from the ceiling. Very clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend to anyone and will definitely stay here again.

The building looked a little old when I drove up, but was so pleasantly surprised by the updated rooms! Beautiful bathroom with a lovely shower, nice kitchenette and I loved the fireplace. Having my own little balcony to stare at the ocean was perfect as well. It was a great location, middle of town, I was able to get to everything I wanted quickly and easily. I didn’t use the swimming pool but it looked nice. And the beach access was perfect.
I will definitely stay here again!

The hotel was ok and what I expected. However there is misinformation on Expedia. There is no shuttle provided and transportation is difficult. Limited local transit. Very few options. Casino shuttle only on Friday and Saturday. Uber is available but very few drivers. We had long wait times and had to repurchase our bus tickets

Our room was freshly remodeled. Nice new tile bathroom with upgraded shower and lighted mirror as well as a better exhaust fan with timer. New big screen tv, new digital fireplace/heater. Upgraded fridge area with a sink and overall better laid out than the old rooms were. The motel was a great classic beachfront, now it's even better.

The room was very nice! Everything but the spray-feature worked in the hot tub. Shower pressure and fixture was a bit disappointing, but was functional and adequate for a 2 night stay.
Walls are kind of thin and noise does carry, but in general - we would absolutely repeat our stay here!!!

The bathroom was missing a shelf/holder in the shower. I had placed the shampoo on the ground and held the soap while taking a shower and the doors didn't completely shut causing water to get all over the floor. I was on floor 2 and there were people above my room stomping during the night waking me up. It happened three times. When I checked out I told the desk clerk about the issues and she just shrugged. Didn't even say, \"sorry\".
