Staff was great. Great location near restaurants can walk to. Groceries near as well. The beach is great never too crowded. Peaceful place. One thing might be worth doing is add door arms to help from doors slamming. Had one person leaving often at times and their door slammed every time.

We were excited for our stay until we got there. Dog hair everywhere, room smelled bad. Breakfast was awful, staff was rude and uncaring. Furniture was nasty microwave not clean refrigerator didn’t work very well. Even the hallway was covered in dog hair. Patio chairs filthy like no one even cared. Even the ice had a bad taste. Get it together will never book here again!!!

About all I can say is the view of, and access to, the beach is the best feature of this property. I expected an 'older' room but it needed a deep clean: stains on furniture, dirty shower curtain, stains on tub floor, worn bathmat. All small issues but together gave an overall icky feel to our 2-night stay. 'Free' breakfast wasn't much-cold cereal, waffles, bagels & English muffins. No milk for the cereal, powdered creamer for coffee.

The jacuzzi was broken, when we told staff they laughed and said we didn’t know how to use it. It was actually leaking, meaning no pressure to make the jets work. Then when I called back to speak with the manager, I was told because I booked through a third party they couldn’t refund me. She also informed me maintenance said the tub worked just fine which is comical as I sent the guy working the front desk the video of the leaking tub and the jets not working. There was shattered glass on the floor. The carpet was torn up and had tape residue. I would NOT recommend this place, could spend the same amount on a much nicer place.

Laid my grandmother to rest Friday night and wanted to celebrate her and mother’s day Saturday. My mistake.

Location Location Location. Beautiful location and for the price it was pretty good. Our room definitely needed some upkeep. Stains on the floor on the deck outside. Looked like puke. The cold water knob wouldnt work correctly and needed to be messed with to get it working. Lots of detail maintenance needed. Torn carpet edges. Touch up paint. Doors we banged up and needed painting. Jeff at the front counter great. This property has tons of potential. Just needs some love by the owners

This is our most favorite place to stay with our family of 7. We booked 2 rooms and had no issues and they were just a few doors down from each other. Can't ask for anything better with Mo's right next door and the bay and the beach are within walking distance. Never have any issues when booking here. 10/10 recommend. Our kids love the free breakfast in the morning too!

We ended up not staying and asking for a refund. We were told we would be issued a refund by the strangely rude desk clerk but now 4 days later the charge is still on my card. The room was gross. The furniture was chewed up, the sofa had stains all over it and there was garbage on the floor. I could get past a piece of garbage but not in a room I couldn’t trust that the bedding wasn’t 50 years old and that it had been washed in this decade. If I had the option to add photos here you’d see how gross it was.
We stayed down the street at the Wecoma Inn. The Wecoma gets 5 stars. It was clean and staff was wonderful!

The room was a little dated and worn, but clean and had everything we needed for a quick overnight visit to the coast. Staff was friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was great, diy waffles, yogurt, juice, bagels w/ cream cheese, and more. Elevator was a plus, we were on the 4th floor with a view and balcony to the bay/ ocean. A momma pigeon had laid her eggs on the balcony, she didn’t mind us and we didn’t mind her, so all was well. Was a nice quick walk to MO’s for dinner. Enjoyed our visit and will return again, when we can/want to get away from Salem.

Overall, the hotel is in fairly poor shape. All of the furniture was banged up, shower head was broken, carpet was bulging or coming loose. The room also had a terrible smoke/mildew smell that we had to air out when arriving. They are in desperate need of a remodel. However, for the price, it was an inexpensive place to sleep for a single night on a business trip. The room, other than the smell, appeared clean.

We arrived 1 hour early. Went in to ask if we could check in early. The man at the front desk was not nice at all. Plus they wanted to charge me $10.00 for showing up early. I was putback by an envelope on the table asking for a tip. The bed was not comfortable at all. Both my partner and I woke up with back aches. The breakfast and park were fine.

View and room was amazing. The check in person was to be desired. Besides asking us our name and for a signature they didn't talk to us at all. Instead spent the time dealing with someone on the phone. No info was given about wifi, or breakfast. Had to figure those out on our own. She was also very hard to understand with the thick accent and broke. English but we worked past that. Morning staff was amazing. Gave recommendations on places to eat once we left and things to do in the area. We enjoyed watching the seals play in the bay and the sunrise beach campfire someone had outside our room made it even better. Even though 2 of the jets in the jet tub were not working it was still an amazing tub and was just the relaxation we were needing. Would definently stay here again.

I was a little disappointed some of the stripping around the floor in the carpet was all pulled away and it looked like there was some mildew.
I also I'm handicapped and there are only two spots. I'm checking in late it's difficult to park and bring my luggage in.
Other than those two issues I really enjoy staying here and the staff is very nice and helpful.

The only reason to stay is because of the location. Great path to the beach, toddler friendly location and walking distance to Mo's.

Bring your gloves, bleach, towels and bedding. There's pee on the bathroom wall, towels look like they weren't washed, and the sheets are extremely thin. Breakfast is okay for low quality hotel.

The receptionist was very rude to quests. My experience, I wanted a new towel and she starred at me in silence until I said forget and she turned around and walked away.

Overall location is great. Hotel is gross.

Upon checking in, I was given a room with black mold under the window, the flooring/baseboard was not attached and laying on the floor. The table covered in I’m guessing maple syrup, and the bed ruffled, not freshly made. The fan didn’t work and the room was HOT. The room was not ready (clean) for use. And eh mold issue is a whole other issue in itself.

I returned to the front desk, explained that I’d like a different room and why. She asked me to show her. I gave her the room key and told her as soon as she opens the door she’ll see it. Came back telling me I needed to book a better room the next time I made a reservation. As if I had any control over which room you assigned me at check in. I was. Infused and asked her what she meant.
She said I reserved an “accessible” room and ext time I need to pick a better room.
I told her I shoes the inexpensive room- doesn’t matter that it’s ADA, eh fact that mold is in there and the room isn’t clean has nothing to do if it’s standard or ADA- the room should not be rented until clean and the mold issue fixed.

I have no control over what room I’m assigned, but you should be checking rooms and housekeeping should be putting a ticket in when the wall is separated from the baseboard. Not my problem, but the customer service was a fat ZERO. Don’t place blame, be passive aggressive and rude for something your customer had zero involvement with.

Yes, this is an older hotel. I knew that when I booked it, but it was not clean. The shower was dirty. Upon arrival. The sliding glass door was not intact. The room smelled bad. Also left some belongings in my room called them a dozen times to try to see if they could mail them to me. They never responded when they finally did. They said they never had my items Would not stay here again.

The daytime host was very friendly and helpful. The evening person could have been more friendly.
I had an issue with the shower faucet and the morning person was able to resolve it right away.

It was a surprisingly lovely affordable place to stay right on the beach. There were Heron’s that were fishing at night. It was quite lovely. The beach is right in front of the hotel and you have access to walk up and down the beach. The breakfast was modest regular kind of motel breakfast, but the coffee was delicious The staff was very kind. I will stay here again thank you.

Old rooms. Mine needed cleaned. The India Indian ft. Desk girl was SUPER rude! She lectured me after she got caught not trying to help me for a room I paid for. Tons of damage in the room. Missing microwave knob, nastiness behind the toilet. Holes in screen, previous persons trash on window seal. We were there for 6 hrs and we left. Gross place! I stay in Lincoln City a couple times a year. I will never stay here again!

From the front desk and tell the front desk when I left nothing but complications, room troubles, cleanliness, broken objects in room, all kinds of terrible bad. Attitude with front desk lady. As far as the view goes wonderful view, love, stay there again. However, probably will not because I got a terrible sleep. Noisy room defriger, hum like a son of a gun and the the phone did not work in the room. It beeped a buzzy signal all night long until I figured out. That's what it was, and I'm plugged it from the wall. And in the breakfast lounge, there was hardy any customer service at all.Lauren, everything that was in there.If not out including milk and then s s d for breakfast and one other thing as far as parking goes, parking's not secure, the keys did not continually work when you would get locked out.You have to go all the way around to the front, to get in to get a new key to get back into your room or to the building.Not very nice day.I had won't be staying there again for sure, but the view man, the view rocks and there are rad people.Just for having that, but they should really take care of it

Check in was easy, our room was disappointing. I rented two rooms so we had 4 Queen beds. They were fulls. The chairs at the little table by the window looked nasty and stained. ( both rooms) bath tub in one room was stained? Had hair left in it on the wall. The beds were decent . However getting to sleep was difficult as we could hear everything in the room above us and it was running and jumping for hours.
In the morning breakfast consisted of waffles as well as some small pieces of fruit/ cereal and bagels. The batter ran out 20 min before breakfast was over my kiddos wanted to run down and make one more waffle. The guy let my kids know better was gone and he wasn’t going to make more. ( mind you only 2 small syrup looking containers were made at 7 am) I never write reviews but I can say I definitely wouldn’t stay here again by choice.

Let's be honest, the view is what it's all about and in this category, 5 stars all the way! The view was absolutely amazing and the location was spectacular.

The room and rest of the hotel though... The room was very dated and worn. Pieces of trim were missing, the sliding glass door jam was filthy and had a hard time sliding. The bathroom - the seat had the remains of the previous occupants last meal on it still if you catch my meaning. But a little disinfectant wipe cleaned that up.

The deck chairs that were in the room were covered in bird droppings so unusable.

The breakfast was basically non-existent. One working waffle maker for an entire hotel and nothing special. Basically the absolute bare minimum so that they can say they offer a breakfast.

Now all of this sounds bad but don't get me wrong, I would absolutely stay again. The bed was comfy and the room was relatively clean outside of the issues above. The location is great and the views are stunning.

Staff wasn’t as friendly as in times past. Seemed bothered to have to put her phone down to check us in and then be told about the coffee running out. Room was fine but not super clean; had to tip a chair up to get something we dropped and were met with dust and cobwebs. Sliding door track was filthy. Continental breakfast was lackluster and boring. Very little variety and very weak coffee that was needing to be filled. Parking was fine. The best part was the view but there are MANY other properties with Ocean Front views that are comparably priced. We will go to one of those next time.

This is not a hotel. It is a dirty motel. Carpets are lifting everywhere. Dark small black specks all over. Seagull pooped on chairs in the room. I would never touch a bite of food that was served there. Dirty and misrepresented for sure. Again it is a MOTEL!!!

One of the sinks had a broken faucet and leaked so we shared one sink.
Staff was awesome but spread quite thin during breakfast hours.
Parking was touch and go. The upper and lower levels were scary to get into and out of. Street level parking went quickly.
All and all a good stay. Will book again next year.

The AM staff was not friendly or helpful. I asked for some coffee to be made and they made old coffee and just ran it again. They did not get off their butt out of the office for help. This isn’t the first time I have had this experience with this particular staff member. Evening staff has been great and accommodating while being friendly and helpful. I normally would just say, maybe the AM was having a bad morning, but this had happened multiple times. I really hope this changes, I feel for other people when they check out and they have to attempt to get any help from that employee.

Booked the double queen bedroom on the 4th floor with ocean view. Good deal for the room. I feel the only thing is and it’s not the property- is our room was a connected room and the neighbors were loud late around 12/1am. But also understand it was a Friday night and it was for maybe 10 minutes. It was a good space for 2 adults and 2 kids ( 6 yrs and 15 yr olds).
Great service and friendly. Be nice to have more options for continental breakfast. Not much protein options. Only yogurt. No eggs or sausage/ meats. Love using the waffle iron. Overall, we will be back. :) Also, wish there was an exercise room :). Even simple cardio stuff and weights. Room had fridge, and microwave. With there was also an updated coffee machine to maybe to a Keurig. Room had a very simple one with small coffee bag. And packaged sugar and cream with strirring stick.

All rooms point towards the bay. The only difference is ocean view rooms have a balcony to step out on to look at the ocean.

Poor experience, better prior stays. One staff member manning the desk was consistently rude. It was a hassle to get her to unlock the bathroom door in the lobby every day during breakfast hours. My room was at the other end on the third floor. The wonan who checked me in was pleasant but unfortunately, the other was not, repeatedly. If you cant be hospitable to paying guests, then don't work in hospitality. I will choose somewhere else my next trip. Also, the shower barely worked.
