We always stay here when we are in Lincoln City. Love the adults only environment! Staff are always upbeat and the rooms are a dream! The most comfortable bed and pillows and the hot tub with an ocean view is breathtaking! Bonus a big deck to watch the waves! I will always ask for room on the 5th floor! Great reset for my hubby and I!

The bed linens and towels were clean, and the beach view was beautiful. However, there were several cleanliness issues. The coffee table was dirty, there were urine stains inside the toilet, and there were hairs on the air conditioner near the mirror. There was no complimentary water in the room. We also wanted to order champagne, but it was unavailable. The staff were not very friendly and didn’t seem to make much effort to help us. Overall, the location and view were great, but the cleanliness and service need improvement.

Good ocean view. Fireplace didn’t work, microwave wasn’t plugged in and it was too high up for us to plug it in. Had a jacuzzi with ocean view but we had to climb into it to open and close the shades. Dangerous! Very small room. No comfortable chair and only 1. Won’t return.

Of course it had a great view, and being able to enjoy a hot tub whenever we wanted was amazing! We stayed in the Pacific Suite, and had our own little entrance so that was great. We found ants in the kitchen though, we also found that the floors were likely not cleaned/vacuumed at all, so that was gross (finding hair and toe nail clippings, and clear tags from clothing). We didn’t inform the staff though and we just dealt with it but did tell them at checkout. We were just sort of hoping and praying the rest of the place was cleaned (meaning the shower, the couch, bedding and of course the hot tub). We had people above us, and noise carried quite well unfortunately. Also, the room was quite muggy and we tried to open windows and the doors to help, but the air doesn’t circulate well. I don’t think we would stay again, especially for the price we paid, but did have an overall good time.

If you are looking for privacy this is not the hotel for you. Looking at the advertisement we thought this would be private patios and beach access. You cannot get to the beach from this hotel. The “beach front” is a large shared lawn area, where the other rooms are and everyone from up above are looking at you. At one point sitting on our “patio” someone from an upper floor spilled or poured liquid down below on us. My bad for not fully reading the fine print but there is NO A/C. It was HOT. We were told to use a fan and open windows. The window did not open and the door did not have a screen so bugs could get in, there was no air movement but also people were walking in the shared space looking in. There was a big hair ball in the shower that was not ours. The body wash and conditioner bottles were not full and not enough for one shower. Unfortunately we didn’t find that out until we were already in the shower. We paid for a room that we didn’t feel we got so sadly we were disappointed. It wouldn’t have been a big deal except that this was the one part of our trip where we stayed 2 nights in one place. 😢

Amazing 25th Anniversary getaway 💕
The room was clean and the view was so beautiful. Nice bathrobes and the jetted tub overlooking the beach was so relaxing. We were greeted and quickly checked in by friendly front desk staff. There is plenty of onsite parking. One thing I had not realized was this is an adult only, no pet hotel; this did not affect our stay since it was just the two of us. It was so peaceful and quiet.

If I had to mention one downside, it would be that it took some time to fill the bathtub. That said, the water flow itself wasn’t slow—the tub is simply quite large, so it’s understandable.
Another minor point was the wall décor in the room, such as the driftwood art, which felt a bit underwhelming..

At check in the receptionist was very cold, asked us if we had ever stayed there before when we said no, nothing more was said I was expecting him to tell us a little about the place maybe something about the area. The room was not clean I kept stepped on a pistachio nut the first step into the room, went to put my clothes in the closet and had to move a bottle cap to open the door. After taking a shower the floor was soaked we had to mop the floor with the only 2 bath towels there. I'm terrible disappointed and won't be returning.

They say the jetted tub in the room is for 2 but neglect to say 2 smaller adults so if you are overweight at all it's a tub for 1. The remote for the tv only worked half the time and the were multiple light bulbs burnt out. The outlets and usb ports on one side of the bed didn't work. Access to the beach was multiple steep sets of stairs and the last set the hand railing was very unstable very scary if you had to rely on it. Definitely not worth the price.

Absolutely loved this hotel! The gentleman who checked us in was so nice and funny, which started of our stay with a good experience. The room was so nice, very clean and modern. Everything was just beautiful! We had to call twice for for help with the fireplace and tv, and someone showed up after I barely set down the phone! The balcony was a good size and we sat out there a lot. We will definitely stay there again!

Excellent dual shower heads, fireplace etc. not sure about AC as we only found the heater but it’s nice to sleep with the sliding door open to hear the waves. Will definitely return.

Fireplace didn’t work. Microwave don’t work. Shower wouldn’t drain so we had to rinse and bathe in the hot tub. Photos of the room we reserved were much different than the room we were given. It was overall a terrible experience and staff didn’t want to make it right. Needless to say our anniversary night was ruined. We’ve stayed here many times and never ever had a bad experience like this. When I tried to speak with the manager she gave a big “sigh”.. unfortunately we will probably not come back.

I drove 2 hours and paid a few hundred follars for a room for 2 with a view, balcony, jacuzzi tub and as soon as i walked in with my son to check in i was told kids cant stay in there rooms, they canceled my reservation on the spot and was told sorry expedia is supposed to advertise these rooms are adult only. That was not advertised anywhere. Everywhere i called to reserve a room that day as it was a saturday late afteernoon and a busy weekend at the coast all hotels were booked out.

Our room was spacious, warm, and comfortable. The jacuzzi in the room ws nice and the view was exactly what we wanted. The drawback was how loud the doors close and the intoxicated people playing in the hallway. No matter how carefully you close the doors, they slam and disrupt those around you. Our neighbor was in and out of there room dozens of times late at night and it made it impossible to sleep.

We got started off with it being really hard to open the door to the trim. Once we figured it out it was fine but it really shouldn’t be so difficult!! The kitchen sink had food in it and the bedding is questionable if it was washed before we came. There was hair in the shower like on the walls. The room itself is very nice and the view is amazing! The person the I asked for help wasn’t really that helpful and seemed more concerned with their door dash order than helping customers.

Nice spot overall but some issues. Unfortunately, the tub had not been cleaned in quite some time so we were unable to use it. There were remaining short hairs and black slime came out of the jets. Cringe. I also could not get the gas fireplace to turn on. Overall the room needed a fresh clean and restock of linen and provided shower items like conditioner. I did let the friendly front desk know who said they would ensure the ground level was gone through.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Starfish Manor and would happily stay there again. Our only real dislike was that there is no A/C. Luckily there was a fan in the closet that we found so that we could get the air moving. There were no screens on the windows so we didn't want to keep those open during the night - for many reasons. Ceiling fans would be a great addition since they are quieter than a large box fan. Otherwise we found the room comfortable. There also is no food or drinks available, there are ice machines.

I can understand stairs but they were not really people friendly.I understand the stairs were
not on THIS hotel property. I might have been required to drive to a beach access , but I would like to have been told ahead of time of the difficulty.

Don't do it. Stayed here because our normal place was booked paid more thought it would be a nice treat. Ran out of hot water before the tub was full. Jets flung dirty nastiness into the bath when run. Jets are also broken so when you turn them on if you against it all the way it sprays everywhere. Shower heads looked broken just holes in the in the heads where places were obviously missing. TV is not a smart TV and there is no way to stream. Save money and stay at the Lincoln Sands amazing soaking tub, always clean, hot breakfast and cheaper.

The room itself wasn’t anything spectacular considering it was pretty expensive for one night. The shower in the bathtub were a little dirty. The whole room is a little dirty to be honest. They were clumps of hair in the corners of the room. It almost looked like animal hair. The shower and the bathtub had stains in them. The whole reason why I booked this room was for the jet bathtub. I ended up not using the bathtub because it didn’t look very clean. There were no bottles of water in the room and even when I requested some, I was told that they didn’t offer that. I stated much cheaper hotels that offered a bottle water. The room didn’t even have a tissue box. Upon checking in, I asked if we could pay extra for a late checkout, and I was told that they could not accommodate that request. Not a huge deal but again for the cost, and the fact that I was willing to pay extra, I thought it was a little frustrating that they weren’t willing to budge at all. There is no breakfast served at this hotel. There isn’t even a little gift store where you can buy snacks. The staff is friendly enough. I didn’t want to give them a fantastic rating just due to the reluctance of allowing me an extra hour in the room. Nothing too horrible to notes, but again for the price, I will not be booking there again.
