We had a beautiful view and the hot tub was amazing minus the wind tunnel, but that’s the pnw for you! The fire place was not working and the beds were super stiff. But the staff was amazing, and the room was very clean.

They say the jetted tub in the room is for 2 but neglect to say 2 smaller adults so if you are overweight at all it's a tub for 1. The remote for the tv only worked half the time and the were multiple light bulbs burnt out. The outlets and usb ports on one side of the bed didn't work. Access to the beach was multiple steep sets of stairs and the last set the hand railing was very unstable very scary if you had to rely on it. Definitely not worth the price.

Absolutely loved this hotel! The gentleman who checked us in was so nice and funny, which started of our stay with a good experience. The room was so nice, very clean and modern. Everything was just beautiful! We had to call twice for for help with the fireplace and tv, and someone showed up after I barely set down the phone! The balcony was a good size and we sat out there a lot. We will definitely stay there again!

Great hotel, staff and cleanliness. Wasn’t any silverware or sporks so if you order take out make sure you’re prepared. Excellent dual shower heads, fireplace etc. not sure about AC as we only found the heater but it’s nice to sleep with the sliding door open to hear the waves. Will definitely return.

Fireplace didn’t work. Microwave don’t work. Shower wouldn’t drain so we had to rinse and bathe in the hot tub. Photos of the room we reserved were much different than the room we were given. It was overall a terrible experience and staff didn’t want to make it right. Needless to say our anniversary night was ruined. We’ve stayed here many times and never ever had a bad experience like this. When I tried to speak with the manager she gave a big “sigh”.. unfortunately we will probably not come back.

I drove 2 hours and paid a few hundred follars for a room for 2 with a view, balcony, jacuzzi tub and as soon as i walked in with my son to check in i was told kids cant stay in there rooms, they canceled my reservation on the spot and was told sorry expedia is supposed to advertise these rooms are adult only. That was not advertised anywhere. Everywhere i called to reserve a room that day as it was a saturday late afteernoon and a busy weekend at the coast all hotels were booked out.

Our room was spacious, warm, and comfortable. The jacuzzi in the room ws nice and the view was exactly what we wanted. The drawback was how loud the doors close and the intoxicated people playing in the hallway. No matter how carefully you close the doors, they slam and disrupt those around you. Our neighbor was in and out of there room dozens of times late at night and it made it impossible to sleep.

Was looking for the perfect place to take my wife on her birthday weekend getaway. This place is so romantic. The staff is very friendly. We felt so welcomed, room was very clean. The hot tub near the window was amazing. Definitely will be booking again. My wife truly enjoyed her stay and so did I. They are adding a store in their lobby that will be very convenient.

We got started off with it being really hard to open the door to the trim. Once we figured it out it was fine but it really shouldn’t be so difficult!! The kitchen sink had food in it and the bedding is questionable if it was washed before we came. There was hair in the shower like on the walls. The room itself is very nice and the view is amazing! The person the I asked for help wasn’t really that helpful and seemed more concerned with their door dash order than helping customers.

The only thing that was a little off was the fireplace/heat control was acting up a little. Might need a new thermostat, but it was not a big deal at all. Comfortable bed and bedding, wonderful jacuzzi tub, everything clean and in excellent condition, staff wonderful. Definitely recommend for a romantic getaway!

Nice spot overall but some issues. Unfortunately, the tub had not been cleaned in quite some time so we were unable to use it. There were remaining short hairs and black slime came out of the jets. Cringe. I also could not get the gas fireplace to turn on. Overall the room needed a fresh clean and restock of linen and provided shower items like conditioner. I did let the friendly front desk know who said they would ensure the ground level was gone through.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Starfish Manor and would happily stay there again. Our only real dislike was that there is no A/C. Luckily there was a fan in the closet that we found so that we could get the air moving. There were no screens on the windows so we didn't want to keep those open during the night - for many reasons. Ceiling fans would be a great addition since they are quieter than a large box fan. Otherwise we found the room comfortable. There also is no food or drinks available, there are ice machines.

The hotel room was exceptional and all hosts extremely nice and helpful
Only wish there was a better way down to the sand for mildly physically challenged folks
I can understand stairs but they were not really people friendly.I understand the stairs were
not on THIS hotel property. I might have been required to drive to a beach access , but I would like to have been told ahead of time of the difficulty.

Don't do it. Stayed here because our normal place was booked paid more thought it would be a nice treat. Ran out of hot water before the tub was full. Jets flung dirty nastiness into the bath when run. Jets are also broken so when you turn them on if you against it all the way it sprays everywhere. Shower heads looked broken just holes in the in the heads where places were obviously missing. TV is not a smart TV and there is no way to stream. Save money and stay at the Lincoln Sands amazing soaking tub, always clean, hot breakfast and cheaper.

The room itself wasn’t anything spectacular considering it was pretty expensive for one night. The shower in the bathtub were a little dirty. The whole room is a little dirty to be honest. They were clumps of hair in the corners of the room. It almost looked like animal hair. The shower and the bathtub had stains in them. The whole reason why I booked this room was for the jet bathtub. I ended up not using the bathtub because it didn’t look very clean. There were no bottles of water in the room and even when I requested some, I was told that they didn’t offer that. I stated much cheaper hotels that offered a bottle water. The room didn’t even have a tissue box. Upon checking in, I asked if we could pay extra for a late checkout, and I was told that they could not accommodate that request. Not a huge deal but again for the cost, and the fact that I was willing to pay extra, I thought it was a little frustrating that they weren’t willing to budge at all. There is no breakfast served at this hotel. There isn’t even a little gift store where you can buy snacks. The staff is friendly enough. I didn’t want to give them a fantastic rating just due to the reluctance of allowing me an extra hour in the room. Nothing too horrible to notes, but again for the price, I will not be booking there again.

Our stay was in the Oceania room 507 which had a beautiful view of the ocean. It just happened to be a little too cold, rainy, and windy to enjoy the balcony. The room was very clean, modern, and had a nice whirlpool bathtub and fireplace. The individuals working at the front desk were always very nice and accommodating. This hotel seems to be a little on the older side, but so do most in the area. They are doing some renovations though. It is a good location within short distances to many restaurants and coastal businesses, and to Chinook Winds Casino.

Overall our room was decent and it was clean. There were a couple things that were annoying though. When we checked in we were informed the fireplace wasnt working, the front desk lady was super nice and they did give me a partial refund on the room rate. I was disappointed though as having the fire going with the ocean is always my favorite part and it was my birthday weekend so I was looking forward to it. The TV's in the room are not smart TV's so that was annoying, the TV in the master room is smaller than the one in the guest room, weird in my opinion and the cords were all hanging down the wall under the TV with no wall plate covering the outlet. Small details but they do matter in the overall appearance of the place. The bathroom is small with zero counterspace to put anything. The biggest complaint I have though is the very loud dishwasher was going when we got in our room at 4pm. I was extremely annoyed that I was \"expected\" to unload the dishwasher on my vacation. Which I didn't do, its my birthday getaway Im not doing someone elses dishes. Two of my kids have cleaned houses for work with VRBO and on the mountain and they always started the dishwasher right away, cleaned the room and then put the dishes away. Overall my trip was fabulous and the room was nice, but not $650 nice for 2 nights.

This is a wonderful place for a couple’s getaway, overlooking the ocean was wonderful. The only issue we had was the shower. The water heated to luke warm at best; not sure what the issue was but it didn’t make good for a shower. Bath water was perfect though. Overall, a clean and peaceful place to stay.

We have stayed here a few times. First time gas fireplace didn’t work… got a $50 credit. That was fine. Room was great. Second trip was perfect no issues. 3rd stay we walk into the room and go to turn on the t. And the remote won’t work, staff came into the room and had to sink a new remote, they leave and the remote won’t work to change channels, staff brought up the other remote so we had to use 2 remotes. Then we get our dinner and we’re in our robes eating dinner and the power to the room goes out…. No one would answer the phone at the desk so my husband and I had to get dressed and go to front desk. We waited 10 min for someone to come help us, then were told please wait here while we check the breakers… sure enough it was breakers. We were told it shouldn’t happen again. By this time it’s 9:45pm… we were told the next morning that they would credit us $75 total as the gas fireplace was not working AGAIN. We did receive $50 but not the additional $25 and we were told next time we book to call direct snd they would “spoil” us on our next visit. We called a week later and booked for same night. We were not offered a discount at booking, we thought maybe they would have stuff in our room or a gift card or something. We received NOTHING. We will NOT be back. Horrible customer service.

We have stayed here a couple times previously but I can say for certain we will not be back. Front desk staff was friendly but the room was horrible. The couch had white stains all over it, clearly holes in the wall that had just been patched and not painted over, horrible water pressure, no hot water in the shower, bed was as hard as a rock. Spend your $250 per night elsewhere.

What an absolute gem on the Oregon coast. Such a beautiful place to stay. Very modern tools and if you book one with a big whirlpool like I did you won’t be disappointed. Very friendly staff and no kids allowed! I like that policy as this was a very quiet hotel. Super relaxing and will most certainly book again.
