Stayed in License to chill and exceeded my expectations! The view from the 3rd floor was breathtaking, this jr condo had everything we needed for our three night stay. I have stayed at a lot of places in Lincoln county (I used to live in Waldport) and this was by far my favorite place, maybe ten steps to the beach, walking distance to amazing restaurants and gift shops! 10 out of 10 recommend!

we really enjoyed our stay (aside from me getting sick the whole stay) the place was clean had everything we needed. My only complaint was the bed in the bedroom was way too firm and hurt my back the first night, also hurt my daughters neck, so we played musical beds. Also the day before we left the microwave quit on us. Being we only had one day left we didn't tell the office. We meant to let them know on our way out but forgot. But it was so nice being off the beach. I would definitely stay here again. Would just choose a different room with hopefully a softer bed. But the bed in the living room was great. They also had plenty of extra pillows and blankets which was nice with a party of 4.

I received a last minute phone call telling me the refrigerator in the condo had gone out and would not be replaced before our stay. They brought in a mini fridge that froze the little we could fit in it.
I understand things happen but some type compensation would have been appreciated.
The refrigerator that was not working was still in the room and smelled terrible like rotten seafood.

Amazing rooms that are impeccably clean. A beautiful view of the ocean with beach access directly behind the motel. A nice indoor swimming pool with functional sauna. And the staff are very helpful. The only thing I feel made this stay slightly complicated was the fact that the laundry machines dont take quarters.. you have to download an app to pay to wash your clothes.... but other than that, The Sea Gypsy WILL be where I stay when Iam in Lincoln City

This was our first time staying at the Sea Gypsy, and we loved it. We mainly chose this location for the access to the beach and the full kitchen. Once we arrived, we didn't have to drive again! The code for the lock was super convenient, & we took advantage of the saltwater pool. We will prioritize coming back for our next stay.

Over all it was a wonderful stay the fire alarm in the bedroom needs the battery changed. So the alarm was going off starting at 4am. Once that is fixed it will be a wonderful place to stay.

This property is centrally located to town and all activities and food options. It's a beautiful place with all the great amenities like a saltwater pool and laundry on site.. Unfortunately the condos need updating. The flooring needs fixed, the bathroom cupboards need cleaned inside, and the bathroom door needs repainted. We stayed in condo 109.

Great for a gathering

This was a great place for me to spend the weekend with my college sons and their friends. We enjoyed the beach right outside and plenty of room to gather around the big dining table for meals and games. We would recommend more blankets. There were lots of pillows and only 2 extra blankets.

We had a great stay, we loved the hospitality and incredibly nice personnel. The location was perfect, and very easy beach access.
Personally, I prefer a higher level of cleanliness. It wasn’t horrible considering this property is quite old and dated. I would like to see more details on cleaning. For instance, hair balls on the floor by the tv, bathroom floors and shower had sand and hair. The hide bed was very uncomfortable for an adult. Regardless, it was still a nice stay. Not my typical choice, pictures were a little deceiving.

We stayed in room 109 kelp me rhonda. This room was disgusting. Mold,peeling paint, cheapest walmart bedding available and the furniture looks like it should be on the side of the road with a free sign.We were there for three nights and wanted out as soon as we got in. This property will not budge on a refund even though the room has mold and dirt caked on the base boards.

This property is in a great location, with amazing ocean views and access to the beach. We enjoyed how clean the unit was (#206). It was also nice to have a separate bedroom and two bathrooms.
We would recommend that the owners consider a few things that might make guests stays better. First, there was a small number of dishes for eating on. Two small plates, two small bowls, and one larger bowl. Silverware was a bit random too. Secondly, the dresser in the bedroom was filled with linens for the bed, so there wasn’t anywhere to unpack our suitcases. Not a big deal on a short weekend, but anything longer and it would have been inconvenient. The closet only had two hangers and the vacuum was in there as well. Maybe the owners could reconsider how they store things so guests have some space for their things.

Solid 3 out of 5. Great value for the price!

The unit we were in was really clean. It was a comfortable apartment. I think that some of the folks in this place live there full time.

The only problem with our room was the queen bed. I was so sore for three days. I ended up having to get therapy done on my shoulder.

But, for the price...

Great location!

Oh, the soda vending machine wasn't working.

Also, the Sauna is in the Pool Area...which doesn't open until 9AM...so if you want to go and relax in the Sauna before the kids wake up...think again.

They were kind enough to let us check in early after house keepers clean. I want to know though if housekeeping job os to dust to? Because when we got our room and was sitting on sofa looking at everything there is a coffee table by the tv and the big bay window that had so much dust on it you could right in it. So we went and dusted everything wipe down the hester boards and all that.

The view the waves comes right up to the outside stairs when the tide is in. So right on the beach. I wish i could get my pictures to upload of the view. But dont seem to work for me ugh. We love this place my husband loves the 70's room reminds him of days past. I have stayed in another room and it was excellent as well. I love when it is just my husband and I because we get our own bathrooms. Lol has everything you could need. The only thing is i wishit this unit had a oven. We would recommend this place to friends and family. It was a very relaxing time.

Love the Sea Gypsy great place to stay.

Had an amazing time with my daughter and 3 of my grandchildren. We stayed in Lincoln City even though we went to Newport to see the aquarium. My husband and i had srayed here before but in a different room. We will be coming back for new years but just the husband and I. I am very excited. We have stayed in the otter space room whcih has everything you need down to chairs and sand toys great for families. Then if you wish to go back in time try the retro room. This place has a lot to offer. The kids loved the pool and beach access. Plus the view, cann't say enough, it is amazing for watching and listening to the waves.

This was such a nice surprise for the price. The unit was well-equipped and you can’t beat the view! We were lucky enough to catch a king tide this weekend, with waves crashing into the seawall.
All dishes and supplies were fully stocked and in excellent condition.
The building is beginning to show its age (saggy bones), but the updates keep it going just fine.

The property is right on the beach and has great views of the ocean. It is in the center of town and within walking distance to the community center, gifts shops and eateries. The bed was memory foam which many people like but we didnt sleep well. The condo has 2 full bathrooms and a kitchen which was nice. Our dislikes are minor. The floors felt sticky and made sticky noises aa we walked. I believe its from the floor cleaner (like Bona or Swiffer cleaner) buildup. It needs a good soap/water clean now and then to get rid of buildup. The dvd player didn't work. That being said, we really enjoyed our stay. We celebrated my husbands birthday and Thanksgiving. We had reserved 3 nights and added a 4th.

The condo was beautiful and clean. We were on the first floor and we had an unobstructed view of the ocean. The major issue for us was the bed. It was so uncomfortable. It felt like an old style mattress with springs inside. My husband and i both tossed and turned most of the night. Other then that our stay was amazing. We will definitely be staying again.

There was a jack hammer going all day it seemed on one of the days we stayed. The walls are paper thin, don’t think we will be back with the kids anyway, everyone could hear me when I raised my voice at my children. The light in the bedroom doesn’t turn off all the way, so we had to unscrew the bulb to shut it off and sleep

An amazing vintage condo on the beach!

Such a wonderful retro vintage condo! I loved the furniture, the record player, the Atari, and the decor. Only thing I could have done without was the family upstairs, who seemed to be having child races to wear them out before bedtime - annoying to have that on my ceiling, but then I went out to dinner and playing pinball at Game Over, so they had quieted down by the time I got back. Still....keep your kids quiet, breeders! :)

The room was okay but the bed was so bad we couldn't sleep in it. The bed was probably more then ten years old it was sunken on both sides. Also there was a DVD player hooked to the TV with lots of DVDs which was nice but the DVD player didn't work. That is why I gave this place a 2, instead of a 3 or a 4.

Husband and I stayed in room 227, the room was nice, kind of dated, clean, but carpets had lots of big stains, needs to be cleaned, bathrooms are nice and clean, the kitchen was nice and functional, loved having everything you need to cook meals. The views are AMAZING!! Loved the easy access to the beach. I would definitely stay at the Sea Gypsy again but in a different condo.

Rented a condo, so it was spacious, but old and worn; definitely needs an update into the 21st century. Also, just plain dirty. Dust build-up throughout. And worst of all, the bedding had not been changed from the previous guest!! Nice beautiful view, though.

Great Trip to Lincoln City

Great trip, cleaning before we arrived seemed a bit rushed. Employees sweater left in the room along with other items from the previous occupants. Kitchen utensils were lacking and lightbulbs were burnt out. Nothing major and didn’t stop us from having a great trip. Fantastic place and would greatly recommend and be back for another trip. Kids really enjoyed the pool and the easy beach access was great. Also the location was easy to get to hikes, casino, shopping, restaurants, etc.
