We ended up booking this hotel last minute after having issues with another place nearby, and honestly it completely saved our trip. We arrived around 10pm and the staff were incredibly accommodating, welcoming, and kind despite the late check-in.

The hotel itself smelled amazing, felt clean and well cared for, and had great amenities in a really central location. Our room was super cozy, very clean, and overall just felt comfortable the second we walked in.

Breakfast in the morning was also surprisingly great with lots of options, which was such a nice bonus. The pricing was very reasonable for the quality of the stay, and we genuinely had zero complaints. Would absolutely stay here again!!

I booked the double queen just to sleep as we were working in Lincoln city. It said it had an exercise room and not one of the 2 cardio equipment worked. I’m an IFBB pro in prep and I had to jump around in the room for 30 minutes! Also both beds were double beds very small not queen size.

Boy has this place gone down hill quickly.
To start the ladies at front desk are amazing no issues, very friendly and helpful.
Pet friendly rooms are carpeted and quite stinky. Bathroom vinyl plank flooring was pulling up and almost entirely separated. Pool and hot tub has green mildew formed around the edges. Breakfast was pretty sad, no waffles or fresh fruit. No air conditioning in rooms.
Unfortunately, that’s probably the last time we’ll be staying there.

The room was reasonably comfortable and overall clean, poor drainage in sink and shower notwithstanding. The hotel is definitely older but reasonably maintained. The staff was polite and helpful, the lady at breakfast was attentive and very pleasant. When it comes to breakfast as such, however, a hotel can offer (a) excellence, (b) mediocrity, or (c) something that insults the guests. I will add another category: (d) an abomination to the very idea of breakfast. That is what was served here: nothing remotely fresh, non-working appliances, meagre biscuits and bagels that could not be toasted, leaving only orange juice from a machine to consume. The entire setup of the breakfast buffet sending only one message: We don't care! If the proprietor of a hotel focuses only on keeping costs not low, but lowest, the honest thing (towards guests and staff!) would be to not offer breakfast.

We have been staying here for years and slowly watching the hotel go down hill with hopes they would catch up. Same breakfast being served 8 years later, every morning with no change. Sauna still doesn’t work. Hot tub being cleaned when it should be opened instead of ahead of time, making it unusable. Broken ice machine. Unfriendly staff. A quarter roll of toilet paper with no back up. Yet you took the time to buy check in iPads for the front desk. Definitely coming off the list of places we say.

The front desk cancelled my reservation for a suite two bedroom and when I arrived they were already booked so I had to get two rooms and they didn’t even offer at same price. I had my email with confirmation for the rooms and yet they acted like there was nothing they could do about it. I ended up paying double what I had originally planned and am just very disappointed in the customer service.

Breakfast was decent (no breakfast meat one day, but the rest there was), would love option to make fresh waffles, but overall good. The staff person was great and very on things, cleaning, getting more food out (we were there for 4 mornings).
Room was clean, had problems with TV, but night manager took care of it.
We were on the main floor, great access for my wife with disability to the car and such, for loading and unloading (I was at a pool tournament for most of every day).
The main problem we had was the upstairs people had, what we assume, was children up and running and pouncing on the floor 3 days of the 4, anywhere from as early as 4am to 6am, we called the front desk and it took until our last morning, to make it seem to not happen. Not sure what you could have done, but I am sure if we were up at 2am in the morning partying/tv blaring, that we would have been told to quiet it down.
All in all it was a good stay. (oh yeah ice machine was not working on the main floor for the whole time we were there, and we had to take the elevator up to the 3rd floor for ice).

The breakfast menu is meager, they served canned sausage gravy and biscuits every day and scrambled eggs. There was some yogurt and fruit cups but the fruit cups weren’t there every day and there was no fresh fruit or pastries. The parking was convenient and safe and was free. The pool was broken 1/2 our stay but was running the second part, the pool room needs upgrading and has peeling paint on the walls, the sauna looks to be permanently broken. The pool towels were used quickly annd not replaced, so we didn’t have any to use. Our room was clean, but there was popcorn spilt on the stairs that was there for 4 days. Overall the place just seems like the owners are either struggling to make ends meet or are cheap when it comes to upgrades. The staff is nice and accommodating.

Called front desk around 2pm to see if they had a room ready. Front desk girl told me no and to come back after 4pm. Then I proceeded to tell her I would be in a poker tournament at the casino the whole day and I won’t be able to check in til late night. She said that’s fine you can check in anytime. If you show up after midnight I just neee to ring the bell to get in. I was done gambling around 4am and went to the hotel to check in and was told they gave my room away because I didn’t show up in time. Not only did I not get a room and had to sleep in my car I was charged 3/4 of my hotel reservation cost with no refund. I’m never going back there again. Both the front desk girls during the day and at night was unprofessional.

Lack of hospitality from Staff, especially the self proclaimed closest thing to a manager this place has Joe.

Breakfast was mediocre at best. No fresh fruit, no breakfast meat, no waffles. We ended up eating out for breakfast which was an unplanned cost of the trip.

Pool and hot tub were closed.

Sauna out of order with a large BBQ inside, I guess you have to heat it somehow…

Dirty room with toys left by previous occupants.

Worst customer service ever!

Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere!

Summary: Do yourself a favor and find another place to stay! Lack of professionalism, lack of amenities, lackluster breakfast.

When we arrived to check in to our room, the front desk advised they were not able to honor our reservation through Expedia, and they were not able to provide us the room that we reserved (family suite). Instead they put us into a standard 2 queen bed room. The front desk person stated that there was nothing they could do for us in this situation, and charged us the same rate for a lesser room.

We asked to speak with a manager, and were told that was not possible. We then called to Expedia who also called the property and they were not able to change the outcome or the properties lack of hospitality. I pointed out to the front desk person that I could book a 2 queen room on Expedia for substantially less than the reserved rate for the family suite. They did nothing besides blame Expedia and telling us we should not have booked through a third party. The front desk person said we could speak to the in charge at 11 PM when he came onto shift.

I waited up till 11 PM to speak with the manager or in charge person “Joe” who was also a brick wall of blaming Expedia, saying that Expedia had booked us into the Queen room, which was blatantly false. I tried to give Joe the opportunity to make things right by getting us into the room we booked for the next two nights of our stay or at bare minimum provide a discount, but again no hospitality.

Main reason we booked was to use the indoor pool and hot tub with our grandchild. It caused coughing and red eyes the first night was closed the next two days. There were yellow spots under the sheet on the mattress cover that scrubbed out with soap so were clearly fresh not stains. Were given sheets to cover this. The soaps in shower were not refilled in fact one was empty, the conditioner. The door locks are not child safe, easy for a child to unlock and open.
Disappointed to say the least. First time coming to beach in years. First time coming to beach for my grandsons.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. We stayed in a family suite and unfortunately had little kids above us that were jumping off of furniture all hours of the day. Kids were running up the hallway screaming loudly throughout the day. TV’s in room were not connected to internet and had incorrect remotes. Called down to the front for help but they were so busy they were unable to come and help. Overall the room was super nice and spacious and breakfast was ok. Central to many amenities. Wish there was better assignment of rooms to have little kids on lower floors to limit noise. Recommend improvements in WiFi quality it’s extremely slow and unpredictable.

The staff were polite, but the whole place just didn't seem takeb care of. Could definitely use a face lift. The pool area needed a good scrubbing. 1 of the ice machines was broken, amd so was the sauna. My biggest issue that even if you ask for housekeeping. It doesn't happen. We stayed 4 nights. Had to go ask for fresh towels, taking down our used one. And not once was the trash taken out. If we wanted it to be taken out we had to take it down ourselves. I'm sorry, but if I wanted to do chores, I would have stayed home. We were on vacation. Which brings me to another point, pretty sure people just live there. Whoever was in the room above is was walking around all night long. Our rooms door also did not have a good seel, the light from the hall shown through all night long. I can name so many other issues. But at the end of the day, I picked this place for the family suit, my daughters had space of their own, and were able to go to bed at their normal times. Even so, we won't be staying there again.

The hotel is very old! And it seems no one is rushing to renovate the interior, especially the bathrooms and pool. The table lamps in the room don't work; the representative couldn't get them to work, even after replacing the lamps! You can't shower in the bathroom because the water control doesn't work; only the faucet is at knee level, and that's all you need to do is use the bathtub. The sauna isn't working, and apparently hasn't been for a long time. The entire building needs a major overhaul!

I loved this place for years, it was a good hotel for a good price annd I would recommend to all of my friends and family. Over the last year or so it has gone down hill so much. The rooms are filthy, they stop replenishing breakfast at 9 even though it ends at 10 and then are rude when you ask for things to be filled. The room we just checked into had blood and toenail clippings on the bathroom floor, and this was the second room we were moved to because the first one was missing the coffee machine and had food splattered on the carpet. The time before when we stayed a cockroach came out of the bottom of the microwave. They don’t control noise from other guests and after being woken up at 6am by kids above us they wouldn’t allow us the check out an hour later so we could take a nap without a $30 charge. I came back the last couple times hoping it was just a bad experience and things would be corrected but this will be the last time I ever stay here.

The room was okay there was a used wash cloth under the ottoman which made me think they did not clean the place very well the toliet was constantly running but was fixed right away. The double queen room felt like they were 2 full size beds not queen beds. There was a floor board in the bathroom next to the bathtub that was not attached. The place needs a full time maintenance person. The pool area walls needed lots of work paint peeling off and drywall needing repaired the hot tub jets did not work. Probably wouldn't stay here again even though the price was reasonable but now I know why guess you get what you pay for. The front desk person was friendly and checking in was quick. Location was close to food places.
