This property had no staff to help us at all. We arrived at 3:45pm. They were supposed to be there till 5. The cabin is old, rustic, tiny shower in tiny bathroom. Our cabin was right on the highway so very noisy. The beds were nice with nice linens. It was NOT worth the $400 it cost me to stay there one night

They have a room that has everything you may need for the stay. Not supervised. Coffee mugs, towels, freezer with ice, coffee pods flavored creamer cups, smores sticks (for a little box of smores fixings put in the room), and DVD movies to watch on the player in the room.
The court yard is in the middle or all the rooms with 2 fire pits and big chairs all around them, 3 rectangular propane fires and a covered sand box for the kids.
They have game room with 2 arcade style games, a 4 foot tall connect four game, 2 bean bags, table and chairs, and a tv and movies for the kids. Excellent fun and entertainment for kids during their stay.
The have a little food and drink Cafe with excellent food and mixed drinks. You should try the wings. Very delicious.
My husband said it was definitely on our list of best places. I agree completely. Relaxing and enjoyable.

Staff was very friendly and the grounds and area felt very safe.

Well, this is not directly looking out at the ocean with ocean views… It is well worth the price and location

Their little restaurant with pizza and beer is also really good worth a try

Plenty of parking off the street as well. Which in that part of town is a bonus. Plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby within walking distance.

Anchor Inn is like one of the oldest hotels/motels in Lincoln City and there’s a lot of memorabilia there. I stayed here many many times and have been welcomed and I just feel like it’s Home away from home. I would recommend this place to anyone to experience. But if I do that, they’ll raise the price! Ha ha ha just kidding have fun.

The bartender was great. Figuring out how to get to my room was confusing at best. They have two signs up the first one is a dead end to property and tells you to go in at the second sign. At that point you are backing into on coming traffic. Then go to the phone booth to ck in. No sign to the phone booth. After finding it it said ck in with bartender..,,no pets allowed. I had my two little dogs in tow with me not wanting to go back out in the rain. Someone went back and got her. Very nice lady got me ck in. Order a pizza from the bar and she helped me get into my room. She also brought me my pizza when it was done. Good pizza would go back just for the pizza! Pet room was okay for pets but not sure when it was cleaned and dusted for humans. Bedding was clean and bed was okay. I’m not sure how it got a 9 rating. Plus in addition to the cost you quoted I was charged $60 more for 2 pets.

There is no office and it’s basically self serve. However, it was effective without people. The communications were prompt and excellent. The electronic key on your phone needs to point to the door receiver for it to work every time. The pizza and out door surroundings were very good.

First hotel on our Road down coastal Oregon and California. The location is a short walk to some beach access. The room was very clean. The beds were comfortable and very large. There was mini fridge already in the room. The WiFi was fast and easy to access. If I’m back in the area I will definitely stop by here again.

Our stay at this cute vintage hotel was a story of many positives and one big bummer.

The positives! Parking was easy and there were plenty of spots. The grounds were well-kept and curated for groups of people to chill out. The amenities were absolutely excellent at this pricepoint, with Keurigs everywhere, free s'mores, and even on-site FREE washing facilities. The bed was obviously newer and was firm but comfortable, and the room was old and creaky but very cute and inviting. There is apparently a pizza parlor and bar, but it's only open Thursday through the weekend, which makes sense. A fridge by the front door has sodas, juices, and varies sandwiches and deserts that you can buy.

The one huge bummer for me is that the facility's (vintage?) water heater can obviously not keep up with guests taking AM showers. Between 8am and 10am, we were unable to have a hot shower in our room, which was a real bummer. The hotel was in the middle of remodeling multiple areas when we stayed, and I hope that an upgraded water heater is somewhere on their list!

This was such a unique place and very charming! We liked the value for all that they offered: an amenity room with free laundry, movies, books, and travel sized toiletries. In the room there was a S’mores box to use at the fire pits. There was a game room as well. You could walk to the beach. It’s the first place that I’ve stayed where you download an app on your phone for the room key. We weren’t there long enough to enjoy everything. I would go back again!

Some places are just a place to stay, but the staff at Anchor Inn truly view themselves as hosts. The Amenities Room was amazing - we ended up doing a much-needed load of laundry.

We had a personalized welcome note which made us feel at home.

Room was decent. It can be loud but they do supply ear plugs. It's a cute little place with easy access to the beach, games and fire pit out back alongside the dog park area. I think an upgrade might be overdue on the showers, but overall it was worth the price. The pizza is delicious. The pizza I ordered was Route 66. 3 beers on tap. Bed is comfy and so is the sofa bed.

We loved our stay ! The contactless check in and check out was new to us and super easy. This is an older place, with that wonderful musty smell that is in all the older places on the beach. Honestly, at first it was hard to tell if it was clean because of the dark colors.. but I forgot my slippers and wandered around in my socks, and I can tell you that the floors were very clean, as was the shower… and the shower was great, nice pressure and lots of hot water. Nice comfy beds too.. we will definitely stay here again! We loved our cabin!

I enjoyed my time at the Anchor Inn! It is a unique place full of character and fun. The building is old, .but very clean. The room was perfect. comfortable bed, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, great shower and nicely decorated. The charm of this property is that it is older. We like the retro coastal decor of the cabin rooms and prefer the two bedroom units, which are affordable. If you are a light sleeper, there are ear plugs provided and we also appreciated the box fan at night. We ordered a pizza one evening from the restaurant and it was delivered to our room, which was a nice touch. The mini fridge, kitchen sink, dishes, utensils and cups, plus the amenities room with hot water and cocoa are all nice to have when staying here. The S’mores box is an added bonus.

I left a note for the cleaning staff. I feel they may need training on how to clean. The main complaint is there was blood on the pillow case on the bed which I didn't know till going to bed very late or I would have called. The staff were great the dig area also was. Did have a good time even though we were very disappointed with the cleanliness of our room

We really thought the hotel was great! Would not hesitate to come back. Told three people about the place. The smores were a nice touch. Anything we would critique would be very difficult to change and has to do with design and would affect the charm and vintage feel of the property. Really hope they add a breakfast. Oh and the pizza came with loads of cheese. Too much? Depends on who is eating it I guess.

I wish there would have been one more place to sit inside of the room. I would describe it as decent for the price and very very quirky. The wheelhouse was not open during our stay which was a major bummer. I didn’t think to check if they were open during the week. We were there over spring break on a day they were not open.

The room was fairly clean. There was trash under the pull out sofa. The bathroom is in-between the little living room and bedroom and isn't big enough even for a sink. The place is very old and the walls seem paper thin. You can hear your neighbors conversations. Also a new building is being built next door and the noise from there is loud and starts early.There was no staff there because we booked Tues-Thurs, which meant the lounge and restaurant were closed. That was disappointing and had I realized that, I wouldn't have booked. Also there is no physical key or card so you use an app on your phone to unlock the door. This sometimes took multiple tries leaving us standing there for a few minutes. I have the newest iPhone and work in software, I would say the app is glitchy at best.We ended up not staying the second night and did not bother to try to cancel because of the time. Not mad, just disappointed.

It’s a great place to stay. We stayed in a very cozy cabin with kids and they had a blast with s’mores and board games! Definitely plan to go back 😊. Only thing we missed was the food as we went Mon-Wed and the restaurant is only open Thu-Sun. But there are plenty of places to eat nearby so this is not a problem .

We loved pi king a movie to watch from their selection, the Smores at the many fire pits was great and access to the beach was just a short walk. They also have mini gold and cornhole. First and foremost throughout the entire experience i didnt have to deal with one lobby or checkin it was all online and keyless that was my favorite part. Not dealing with any customer service reps. We stayed in Cabin 8 at Anchor Inn and had such a great experience overall! From the moment we walked in, it had the perfect cozy cabin vibe. The room was quaint and welcoming, with a mini sink, fridge, and microwave which made it super convenient. There was a king-sized bed plus a queen-sized bed tucked away in its own little secluded area, which was perfect for us.
The bathroom sink and toilet were spotless and looked brand new. We were pleasantly surprised to find a s’mores kit left on the counter along with instructions for the outdoor fire pit. We used it that evening and it was incredible! The whole atmosphere was amazing — other guests were outside enjoying their fire pits too, which made it feel fun and lively.
There’s also a small on-site kitchen, and we ordered a salad and pizza delivered right to our room, which was so convenient. It’s pet-friendly as well, which is always a huge plus.
The only downside was the cleanliness of the floors. While they appeared swept, there was quite a bit of dust under the beds and the bathroom floor felt sandy. Aside from that, we had an absolute blast.
Overall, it was an amazing stay and I would definitely recommend Anchor Inn to anyone looking for a fun and cozy place to stay!

The room had cobwebs everywhere but the bedding was clean and very comfortable. The bathroom is very small. It was nice to be able to have our dogs with us and they did have a dog walking area that is a little walk away from the rooms but it was ok. The pizza restaurant was a nice addition that we used both nights during our stay.
