The hotel itself wasn’t outstanding but the helpful staff and amenities made up for areas it lacked. The pool and hot tub were dirty, but appreciated the laundry machines as this stop was the halfway point in our travels.

The staff were wonderful. Price is great for a night at the beach. Rooms and furniture could use updating, bed was way too soft and the sheets didnt fit. Pool hours were good. Didn't have too many options for breakfast for me being gluten free just hard boiled eggs and apples and mandarin oranges would have been nice to have a yogurt like typical hotel breakfast. Again great staff but definitely room for improvement.

Overall, everything was good, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. The only downsides were the mattresses, which were extremely soft. It felt like my hips sank much lower than my legs, making it uncomfortable to sleep. Because the hotel is located right next to Highway 101, you can hear traffic noise from passing cars, especially at night.
The complimentary breakfast was also very limited, with only a few options available. Another inconvenience was the hotel's location on a very busy street. It was often difficult to turn into the hotel or pull out onto the road because of the heavy traffic.
Other than these issues, we had a good stay.

great location, comfortable, clean & fair price. The separate bedroom suite was very roomy and beds were comfortable. The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast; hard boiled cold eggs, waffles, toast, bagels, mini muffins, coffee, juice and oranges.
There were a couple of things that obviously needed maintenance. The TV stand in the bedroom was broke and had to be propped up with a book in order not to follow for onto the floor. Also the toilet seat finish was peeling in large pieces making it uncomfortable and unsanitary. The king size room would benefit with a bench or chair and some additional lightning.

Beds are too soft and lumpy, did not sleep well either night. Also online says buffet breakfast, and that is only available on saturday and Sunday now. Did not want muffins, cold cereal or waffles for breakfast, had to go out to get some eggs and bacon. Was first time staying, and will go back to staying at our normal hotel in a Lincoln City

The property has been freshened recently which gives it a clean look and feeling. Add to that the freshly cleaned smell of the room and it feels very clean. There are little things that made us rate much of the hotel as a 4 instead of a 5. For instance, there was no drain plug in the sink. Is someone were to drop something like a ring it would go right down the train and require a maintenance person to retrieve it. So while the property has been freshened, some parts were not.

We had a larger room with a couch and chair but they were dated, had stains, and had not been replaced when the property was refreshed.

Unfortunately, the breakfast was primarily cold food and the only hot item was waffles.

Yet, our room was quiet and the linens were clean, and were comfortable. It was a good value for what we got.

The staff were great, when they were available. Often, when you by the front desk, there was no one there. And, our room was fine (although a bit dark), but the bed was not good....very soft, and the sheets (fitted parts) didn't fit properly, so they were a mess. Also, the breakfast area was very crowded, and not a good selection. But, for us, the location was good.

The breakfast policy of only serving hot breakfast on weekends is an ill advised one. These days, many hotels offer hot breakfast all week, not serving one 7 days a week will not be attractive and will force customers to look at other competing hotels.

There was one front desk guy who wasn’t very pleasant but there was another guy who took over there night shift who was great! The laundry room was nice & the room was spacious but the beds were SUPER soft in not a good way.

The things I liked the most about the Ashley Inn was the Hot tub very relaxing & hot (watch ur step..last step is a doozy. The pool was big an enjoyable for everyone. Things they could work on would be the customer service at the desk. Seen many times people just standing an waiting for someone to come to front to help people coming in. The Land scaping is definitely way behind some work there would be good. Their patio area really looks nice in their pictures maybe if they cleaned it up and turned the lights an fire on it could be inviting and comfortable for families to use. (At least in evening on weekends when busy) Breakfast was fine pretty regular for basic contental with waffles. Be early if u want the egg/sausage. The room did feel safe, the fridge worked great and the bed was comfortable.👍

The place was ok. It had a weird 7 dollar check in fee I’ve never seen before.. Breakfast could use more options, very basic. The room appeared clean until my daughter slid a night stand over and it had years of crumbs and tooth flossers underneath. I really liked the foosball table and shuffleboard.. Staff were very nice.

This was the hotel we spent the most on and boy, was the suite lovely. Both kids had their own bed and being able to relax after they went to bed was awesome. Pool was lovely. Only downside was the hot tub was.... really really dirty. So much so we wouldn't get in it.

Ants were in room and all over the bed. “No rooms were available “ to switch into. I was told if I left I’d have to come back the next day to talk to the “big boss” about getting my money back. Gentleman said he would spray them but never showed up. There were crumbs in the sheets. Tv didn’t work. Toilet didn’t flush. Not enough pressure. Had to hold the handle down. I will not ever be back nor recommend the Ashley Inn to anybody.

The rooms were nice but the TV was messed up. I called twice and went down twice but they weren't able to help us. They said they would come up and look but they didn't. They should have offered us another room. The bathroom light was flickering and let them know they need to change bulbs. The shower sounded like a smoke alarm. It was weird.

We were able to check in a little earlier than the 4 PM check-in time. The hotel does have pets with a $65 security deposit and it was good that I called ahead because they made sure to give me a room that was cleaned well because I have an allergy to dander and they put me in the third floor, which I really appreciated. The pool in the hot tub are pretty small but it’s good for families. The free breakfast was very so so nothing special about it. It’s a good location relative to walking to the beach and I would’ve liked to stay there more than one night but overall, it was a pretty good deal considering it was a Saturday.

Hot breakfast is offered only on Fri and Sat. otherwise the breakfast is basic. Starbucks is near and so is Human Bean. Pool is not heated, jacuzzi is too hot and no shower in that area. Price is not bad during the weekday. Not to far from the beach-blocks away. Staff is friendly.

The staff was amazing, they were able to move things around to get us checked in a little earlier than the scheduled time which I appreciated! The staff during breakfast was also so attentive and friendly which is always a great way to start the morning! The pool and spa pool were enjoyable as well. I also love the blackout curtains that were in the room, it kept the room dark even with the sunlight being so bright outside in the morning. This is the second hotel I’ve ever stayed at and my partner and little one did as well!

We fully enjoyed our stay, we were given a special offer and that was so appreciated. We were in the last room by the door to go outside in the back. It was a little noisy at times and was making our dogs bark. The bed was comfortable, we had breakfast in the morning. We were at the beach for our 29th anniversary. The highlight of my stay was making the mini waffles at breakfast. While the pool was just okay, the hot tub was honestly disgusting. It looked like someone had put soap in it, leaving the water incredibly murky and gross. To make matters worse, there was a strong mold smell everywhere and huge moldy spots all over the bathroom.

The room had a bunch of garbage, used dog toys, etc under the beds. We stayed in room 117 which literally opens up directly to the front lobby. There was no privacy, it was very loud late into the night and early morning with people going in and out, dogs barking, loud voices, doors shutting. Our entire family and dog didn’t get any rest.

The property is well maintained. The pool was nice and the hospital staff were great.

We loved how huge the room and bathroom were. Really large fridge, lots of counter space. The toilet handle was loose. We notified the staff and the hotel manager herself, came down and tightened it up. Normally, we would do it, but not our property so. The staff was genuinely friendly sincere worked as a team. We really enjoyed everything about our stay. We really enjoyed the spread they put on for breakfast for their guests there were a lot of delicious options. We believe the hot tub was the star of the show. We would like to give a Very Special Thanks to the hotel staff. Trish, Scott, Hicham and Raleigh. They are an amazing team! I was very disappointed in the breakfast. In years past when we've stayed at Ashley Inn there were hot food options like scrambled eggs and a breakfast meat and/or biscuits and gravy and there was a little fridge with yogurt. The only protein offered were some cold hardboiled eggs. The only hot option were little waffles that you could make for yourself.

Also the new decor is kind of cold and not that inviting. In the past the lobby and breakfast area were more warm and homey and now it's all metal and sterile looking.

BUT we still enjoyed our stay and the price was definitely right.

It's located right on the highway, but we could not hear highway traffic or anything like that in the room.

We had pets and were placed in front of the ice machine. So any time people came to get ice during the night our dogs were barking. We have stayed at many places with our pets and didn’t deal with so much barking. No one slept that night.

The hot tub had some grime floating in it, pretty gross but expected i guess. the receptionist who checked us in was extremely rude handling our check in. we did not realize there was an age limit, we had to change the name on our reservation, which is not the hotels fault, however the receptionist handled it with absolutely zero hospitality, comparable to a robot with how he acted. overall very average hotel, nothing special. i would not stay here again.

The staff was very nice, Trish (the manager) was exceptionally friendly and helpful. There was plenty to eat for breakfast and the pantry had a good variety for additional snacking & travel needs. The room, gym, and pool were clean and everyting was in good conditon. Parking is abundant and the location is accesisble to all the things you'd want to do in the area. There were a lot of dogs during our stay, but it was relatively quiet and the facilities were clean - you wouldn't know there were dogs on site unless you saw one. I'd stay here again, with and without my dog.

The pictures show a hot breakfast of scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, etc. The only eggs were cold hard boiled, the only hot food was toast and waffles. There wasn’t even any yogurt. I only stayed here on account of the breakfast and I won’t be back. I can get the same garbage continental breakfast anywhere.
