The room was very nice and clean, so was almost all of the rest of the hotel. The hot tub had some grime floating in it, pretty gross but expected i guess. the receptionist who checked us in was extremely rude handling our check in. we did not realize there was an age limit, we had to change the name on our reservation, which is not the hotels fault, however the receptionist handled it with absolutely zero hospitality, comparable to a robot with how he acted. overall very average hotel, nothing special. i would not stay here again.

The staff was very nice, Trish (the manager) was exceptionally friendly and helpful. There was plenty to eat for breakfast and the pantry had a good variety for additional snacking & travel needs. The room, gym, and pool were clean and everyting was in good conditon. Parking is abundant and the location is accesisble to all the things you'd want to do in the area. There were a lot of dogs during our stay, but it was relatively quiet and the facilities were clean - you wouldn't know there were dogs on site unless you saw one. I'd stay here again, with and without my dog.

The pictures show a hot breakfast of scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, etc. The only eggs were cold hard boiled, the only hot food was toast and waffles. There wasn’t even any yogurt. I only stayed here on account of the breakfast and I won’t be back. I can get the same garbage continental breakfast anywhere.

The room was spacious for a family of 3. We got a king bed, and there was plenty of room for a playpen. The room was clean, the service was good, and the breakfast was good. No real complaints, other than that there was no info about paying an additional fee listed online on their website or on Expedia, and I found out about this fee when I arrived to the hotel, it is only paid in person. Maybe I missed something, but be ready to pay an additional $7 a night fee, mine was 4 nights so I paid an additional $28. Not pleasant, but at that point, you're kinda stuck, so definitely a little scammy on that part

This was an okay hotel. The staff were great and went above and beyond to move us to a different room when the frame on the bed broke when we put our bags on it to unpack. They moved us to another room. The place just needs some updates. The beds in both rooms felt like hideabed mattresses and were not comfortable at all. The breakfast was okay Sunday when they offered eggs and sausage to go with your carb options but on Monday they only had one waffle maker and cold cereal for breakfast with coffee and fruit. It just wasn’t exactly what I would call a continental breakfast. The hotel rooms were big which was nice so you didn’t hear other people but the furniture in the rooms and beds need upgrades.

I felt yucky being here. The first room we got into smelled like smoke, the mini fridge had a duct tape handle and it had not been properly cleaned. I was able to get them to move us to another room but only after I asked too cancel and checkout and waited for a helpful response of some kind. The pictures on Expedia are very misleading.

The pool was so dirty that they added extra bleach to cover, but smell was so strong that it was intolerable. The water was so dirty that the bubbles were covered in brown foam. I enjoyed my stay here. I have to say there were a few snafu’s, like the pool and hot tub were shut down half the time I was there, but I’m grateful to Raleigh who went above and beyond to make my stay special. You should check out their outdoor patio, it’s lovely in the evening with the lights on and the gas fire. I also was surprised to see a foosball table and a shuffleboard table in the gym. Next time, I’m definitely gonna play down there.

I have always liked the staff here. That’s one reason for returning. Rooms are clean. Great location. However the property itself is having a few issues. The pool heater is broken. Pool is open for those that like cold water. The front door does not close. It is open -wide open - 24 hours a day. Both items will be fixed when parts, equipment and installers get coordinated I was told.

Our room was very dirty. Reese’s wrapper behind the tv, hair in the bath mat, macaroni noodles on the counter. Something spilled on the closet door by the main door and never cleaned up, sticky spot next to the chair. I dropped something and it rolled under the bed and it was a mess underneath. The TV did not work. The staff was great and tried to help but could tell whoever owns/manages does not care to help make sure the staff have adequate help with repairs and maintenance. The lobby, breakfast and fitness areas were great. The pool heater is broken (I booked this hotel because my kids love to swim) so unless you want to swim in a cold pool or sit in the hot tub, don’t book.

The front counter staff and breakfast staff were amazing. Whoever hired them, gold stars. They all were friendly and so helpful.

Whoever does housekeeping and maintenance needs training. So gross.

I have wheat and egg allergies but there is usually at least oatmeal or yogurt when there is not a hot breakfast. They only serve hot breakfast on weekends @ Ashely Inn. The only option I had then was an orange. When the hot breakfast was offered the next morning I could only have the bacon, they did not.have potatoes. Fortunately I had made a loaf of bread and brought so I certainly didn't starve but I travel a decent amount and this is the first time in a.long time i had really no options.

Quiet couple that wanted to relax at the beach we booked 5 days and was put on middle floor next to elevator where it was super noisy the whole time. Asked for a room switch to top floor and was told they would try and never heard back. Zero noise enforcement. Kids running up and down hallway all day. Homeless dude living in his car allowed on property. Weed smoke everywhere. People hanging out in hallways loud. No good sleep . Ran out of towels. When asked for towels said they were out and too busy to get us some. Definitely never staying here again. Disappointing after staying there for about 7 years. All manager does is smoke cigarettes all day. Free breakfast is 2 stars. You hear everyone above you and next to you. Good luck relaxing here.

The only thing good about this hotel was their breakfast. The place was worn down. Floor in my room was not washed, turned my socks black. The hotel carpet wasn't vacuumed. The staff were not at the front desk most of the time, had to wait if needed help. The whole lower floor was freezing, because the front doors were left open 24-7 the three days we were there. The swimming pool had no heat. The jacuzzi water was murky and the floor was dirty. Our microwave was rusted on the inside and didn't work (they did replace it with one that worked) The shower made a high pitched squeal noise the entire time it was on. The pictures online were not the same. Very disappointing.

My experience wasnt the greatest. The room smelt like mildew and wet dog. The floors were covered in hair and dirt. There was an actual clump of someones hair in our bed. Black mold in the windows and on the air-conditioner/ heater. The beds are awful! They sink in and kill your back. The staff were all nice but they seemed very under staffed and unorganized. There was never anyone at the desk when we needed. Everytime we asked for towels there werent any so everytime we went to the pool we had to walk back up to our room soaked. The pool area was disgusting from guests. Trash and food everywhere. When my fiancé asked for clean towels for our room the front desk guy questioned as to why our family of 5 needed more towels for our room. We stayed for 3 nights so definitely needed more then what was in the room. The breakfast was not the greatest. 2 Waffle makers cereal toast and some fruit. Was hoping there was yogurt or other hot food like bacon or eggs. The juice machine produced hot juice so it wasnt enjoyable or drinkable. Overall not great. Wont be coming back unfortunately.

We were extremely happy with our stay at The Ashley Inn. Our room was perfect. Not one complaint from us. We were very satisfied with the breakfast. Good amount of seating for a somewhat small room. Good selections for adults and kids. On our third day there, I watched an employee by the name of Trish, work non-stop (until I interrupted her work by talking to her. She was so very nice) keeping the breakfast room clean and stocked. The people at the front desk always greeted us going in and out. I had a question on my bill, when I got home, I called and talked to Hichan. He looked into the problem and fixed everything to my complete satisfaction. We booked our stay here taking into consideration breakfast and an indoor pool. We were disappointed to find the breakfast lacking in protein options. Really the only offer was hard cooked eggs. While they are a good source of protein, they are not liked by all. We were there during the week so no bacon, etc like they serve on the weekends. All in all, too much sugar and carbs in what was offered.
As for the pool, it was not heated due to a mechanical issue. We understand that these things happen. However this was part of our criteria for choosing this location. We were disappointed.
The staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. Not sure that we will ever stay there again, but it’s always a possibility.

The staff was really great. Unfortunately, the hot tub was broken and we saw it advertised that they had a sauna. But that was also not true. There were some the housekeeping cleanliness things, being by the ice machine was a little loud, shower was squeeling and needed to be fixed. The staff again was great and did the best they could all things considered. We like the central location and could even walk down to the beach within ten minutes. Happened to be a pretty rainy day. But all in all, if the things were addressed, then our accommodation would have been good for a night. It was spring break, kids were loud but thats alright. Very accomodating to our pup and property is well kept.

The entire bottom half of the place was freezing the door going outside was open all night. I asked for room cleaning and towels they never cleaned or bought towels and I asked the front desk 2 times. Breakdast was late on monday i had to leave. The room above me was loud until 12am to 1am and I let the front dest know changed rooms because of it. Ive stayed at this hotel multiple times over the years its gone way down hill. I did not enjoy my stay there and i always have before dont know thst ill ever stay there again.

Hotel was VERY loud, you could hear everything in the halls and in other rooms. I wasn’t able to sleep.

The pool was not heating and so there were tons of kids with floaties in the hot tub—which made it unusable for us. It would be nice to perhaps have some kid-free hours available in that area for adults.
Also the surprise charges at the end of the stay should be upfront, I would’ve chosen a better hotel, it was a surprise of over $40 more than what we booked for.

The staff were very kind, and attentive, and the room was clean. It’s just not a hotel that is ideal if you’re kid-free and wanting to relax in a hot tub or have a quiet night of rest.

I stayed at this motel in Lincoln City, Oregon, and overall I did not feel it was worth the price.

One of the biggest disappointments was the pool and hot tub. The property advertises a pool, but the pool was cold and clearly not heated. After looking into it and speaking with the front desk, it seemed the pool heater was not working properly. The hot tub was even worse — it was full of foam and appeared dirty and poorly maintained. After only putting my leg in, I felt like I needed to shower immediately. It was honestly disgusting. The water also did not seem to be filtering properly.

What made this especially frustrating is that I was in town to see my mom, who is dying, so I did not have the time or energy to deal with requesting a refund during my stay.

I will say the staff was cool about being pet-friendly, which I appreciated, but the pet fee was $65 per pet, which feels excessive for a property in this condition. The motel was in no better shape than a Motel 6, yet it charges more, so to me it just was not worth the cost. Breakfast was okay, just a pretty standard basic motel breakfast.

Overall, I was disappointed. Between the dirty hot tub, cold pool, high pet fees, and the overall condition of the property, I would not stay here

We had a wonderful stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and truly went above and beyond by upgrading our romance package to include a jacuzzi suite, which made our visit extra special. Breakfast was great as well—on weekends they offered scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, and muffins, while weekdays included hard-boiled eggs along with the other breakfast options. The lobby also had a nice selection of snacks and beverages available for purchase. One of my favorite touches was the beautiful little pond with flowers and a waterfall—it made the atmosphere so relaxing. We really enjoyed our stay!
