Convenience should be better

Hi i want to say the stay was good but the facility could be better but its s a old motel that needs lots of work. The elevator was out of order and our room was on the 3rd flr. Its was fixed before we left which made things much better. Thanks for putting the call in.

The pictures of the property are NOT current. It smelled and looked nasty. The pool had a cover that was so old the color was bleached out of it with large holes in it with green water and algae. The floors and walls were gross and dirty and smelled awful. DISGUSTING! Holes from cigarette burns in the bed covers, cigarette burns in the tub, scum on the tub. Lots of 'regulars' hanging around.

This place shouldn’t be listed. The swimming pool area was filthy and the pool was covered and filled with trash. There was no breakfast. There wasn’t even coffee. A police officer drove through while we were unloading our luggage and questioned why we would be there. He said it wasn’t safe and that they expected trouble. It appeared to be more of a brothel than a hotel. Very misrepresented on the website. Would love a refund.

The staff blatantly ignored customers and they had a long list of dos and donts. Horrible customer service. 3rd floor is supposed to be smoke free, but smelled like marijuana and old cigarettes. Cigarette burns on sheets. Came in everyday to \"clean\", even though I said not to. I guess I got what I paid for, but they should have a disclaimer, \"if you are not ok with cigarettes, don't stay here!\"

The overall stay was pleasant. I got what i paid for. The hotel is ok for one night . I would not stay there more than one night. It’s just an older hotel the towels are old not fresh and clean. The sheets were clean and nice. Overall it was good for last minute .

This is the worst place I have ever stayed. Hallways are stinky with dirty spots along the wall. The paints coming out from the walls of room annd dirty spots can be seen everywhere. Dirty towels were left behind, water dripping out whole night in the tub. Free breakfast mentioned in the website but they don't even provide coffee. Staffs are rude, when I asked about the coffee at 7 am they responded that it will open at 8. And when returned at 8, they said it is not provided. The whole hotel is a thug.

Staff was friendly, but the property is does not reflect the condition of the property currently. The room was clean, but it was in need of renovation. Elevator was out of order. Pool was covered by a torn cover and appeared to be growing things. If you are looking for a low-cost stay for your family, this is not the place.

I have been more satisfied with Travelodge by Wyndham! London is a great manager, D.K., Raj, Hitesh, are all very competent and professional workers at the front desk, and Maria (housekeeping) ... Is a aweetheart...!

NO breakfast. NO pool. NO WiFi. Front desk said \"Oh, we stopped doing that but haven't gotten it off the website\". But reviews suggest they have been scamming people this way for years. It's dirty and feels unsafe. I had low expectations for the price but this wasn't worth even that. Would NEVER have made the reservation if the amenities were correctly listed. Expedia's false description is a slap in the face and I will not use them or their app again as I have lost trust in their integrity.

= front desk area is not the same as the picture online. This place only have one elevator that constantly breaking down. Some of the people who park in the parki,ng do not know who to park. I had two Lansing, Illinois police officers to my room saying they got a phone call about holding someone against their will. I allow the one of the police officers and the polce officer found nobody) and the police _o search the room ask for personal information. Somebody was try to use their key catd on my room door to get inside my room whil6e i was inside my rootel im. This motel is a neighborhood motel. Visit this motel in person if you can before you make a reservation. I am unable to add photo.

Waited 2 hours for a room reserved it over a month in advance downgraded to a cheaper room so I didn't have to wait another hour this place is a dive advertised breakfast no breakfast advertise pool no pool people smoking crack on stairwells blocking you from getting to your rooms without asking them to move loud music and parking lot all night signs in lobby say lock and chain your door don't answer to strangers first time I've ever felt the need to lock and chain my door picked this hotel because I thought Wyndham had standards

Mold on bathroom ceiling, bathroom doorknob broken-couldn't get out without help, cigarette burns all over tub, dresser broken, ac unit not clean and couldn’t read temperature. Elevator would not work-staff would go in closet next to it and flip breakers to make it work. Real safe!

The man behind the counter set the tone which reflected my nasty room and re-folded dirty still damp towel. No wash cloth or face towel. A greasy film on everything in the room. I should have ran but I realized the man behind the counter was not going to refund me. Safety was a concern also.

Front desk staff were rude. Most of the guests were either drug users or transients. Found a female guest slumped on the chair one morning most likely under the influence. Dining room was very dirty and food all over the floor, used plastic knife found in the napkin tray. Jug of milk for cereals just sitting on the counter without ice chiller. Only one elevator that was malfunctioning and we got stuck inside one morning. Elevator smelled like marijuana, cigarette smoke and urine. Guests constantly smoked in the hall by the elevator. This hotel should be reported to Chicago Department of Health and be closed down. Hotel.com should remove this hotel from their account!

Upon checking in at this hotel and going up to my room, when I opened the door I found the room to be occupied with the TV on and items on the bed. I quickly backed out of the room and returned to the front desk for a new room key. Fortunately the second room I was assigned was not occupied, but I was quite concerned that they might assign my new room to someone else while I was occupying it. I made sure to examine the room to ensure there was no one inside, and then engaged the deadbolt and the other lock so that no one else could enter. As a single woman travelling alone, normally I don't worry much about safety but this experience made me think twice.

It was a last minute booking on Line and the reservation went through really Quick.
Customer Service employee was Friendly.
The Motel is and Older Property Not FANCY at all but Room was comfortable and very Roomy and Clean.. Air conditioning worked Great. Good Value for Money.. No Problem in Area.

This property was disgusting. The room smell was overpowered by cigarettes smoked and smelled horrible. The smell penetrated my hair, clothes, and aggravated my allergies. The bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. There was mold on the tub mat, in the shower and near the toilet. There were too many burn marks to even count on the bathtub rim, on the bedspread, and in the wall. We found a pubic hair on the towels in the bathroom. There were people smoking marijuana in the hallways. This place seemed more of an hourly establishment than somewhere to relax after a long day away from home. The hotel also had a policy that you couldn’t request a refund past 10 minutes from checkout. By the time we got to our room through the back stairway, because the elevator did not work, and even had a chance to look at our room, we missed the 10 minute mark. We chose to not stay the night and drove back home. I will make sure to tell all our friends and family to never, ever stay at this place ever.

Welcome to the communist hotel, discomfort we R!!!

Horribly dirty carpets with MOLD!!!!! They run it like a socialist government, very uncomfortable, VERY CONTROLLING ENVIRONMENT!!!!! Do's & Don't signs everywhere. beds sag terribly bad, unfinished constriction work in bathroom, doors have problems, only 1 towel for 2 people. I will most likely never stay there again, not the type of hotel you want on your list of choices.

Our room was nice...clean, large, and quite comfortable. However, the door to our room didnt easily accept my key, even after the front desk person explained what I needed to do to make it work well. Then the next morning the elevator was out of order, and the continental breakfast was largely unstocked until someone asked for a replenishment. Oh yes, the motel didnt seem to have it's own wifi, and the internet service wasnt very great.

My first and maybe last time visiting this hotel. You can tell the house keepers don't do their job thoroughly. I always check the bed sheets and bed for bugs and I noticed some trash on the floor at the head of the bed that included a pair of nasty, dirty mens underwear. That was real disgusting!

I didn't like the fact that my reservation wasn't I requested double queen downstairs because of my disability.They had me with a king and when we got that straighten out I ended up with a room on the second floor and about half way the hall instead of down stairs or close to elevator. receptionist was in a hurry as if he didn't have time for me. Upon checking out I waited five minutes before I saw someone and asked her where was the person who was working there and she didn't respond, she went behind the counter and a few minutes later a man came up and I informed him that I was checking out. Not friendly or make one feel like coming back. No hello or good morning....poor service.

This is an old, rundown Howard Johnson's. To get to our room it was necessary to go out on a balcony and return into the building. I've never heard of this, and it certainly is not what we bargained for. We cancelled our room and took another hotel in the area.
