Rooms and area are both very noisy (like you can hear trucks backing up and making loud noises at 5 am). There were kids is the room next to ours and they screamed all morning. Kinda pricy for the size as well. Wouldn't pick this one again.

Overall a comfortable stay, but in parts the property is a little tired and in need of a proper clean (not just a surface clean). Due to large coach parties staying at the hotel breakfast was very busy, with no tables available and no arrangements for seating people in an orderly fashion. Maybe the coach parties could take thier breakfast in a conference food? Not my first stay at this hotel, but probably will be my last until an upgrade takes play.

Only thing that could have been improved was the lighting in the room, and ensuring that the breakfast was topped up as it was quite low at times, and for some reason the WiFi was working on my phone. Rooms were spacious, only one tea bag in the room on our arrival and we had to leave a note for housekeeping requesting clean cups as they'd just been left soaking in the bathroom. Hard and soft pillows were provided but it was hard to tell the difference between the two. It's important to remember this is a 3 star and as such was clean and comfortable and provided a great location for us visiting friends and family with easy access to the motorway.

Great nights sleep as usual. Plentiful and delicious breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Plenty of drinks in bedroom. Hot shower. On ground floor this time and very quiet. Air conditioner didn't work and felt temperature in room drop at night so we needed heat. Staff gave us a convection heater which did the trick. Will use again. Great service from all staff.

We had an accessible room for myself and the wife and an adjoining bedroom for the father-in-law while we had a few days visiting family the rooms as always were clean and well presented tea and coffee facilities beds were lovely and comfy the only down side is the accessible rooms only come with double beds would of been better if twin beds as the wife has issues and disturbs me while sleeping so don’t get a refreshing sleep

Good food but the room needed an upgrade
The room was poor quality, as the sofa bed was worn and did not look very clean. The carpet was stained in places. The bed was terrible, as the base sections were not fitted together and it was very uncomfortable. The quilt was showing at one corner where the cover was ripped and looked dirty. On a positive note all the staff were very helpful and made sure we had a good dinner and breakfast service.

For 94 pound a night it wasnt what i expected because the room didnt have a fridge or bootle of water and when i asked for bootle of water i was told to use toilet tap water which is very bad. I wont book again if i coming to preston.

Still very basic breakfast although now includes tomatoes and, my favourite, hash browns. However, as breakfast included in room costs, one shouldn't be over-critical! Added bonus was staff politely ensuring all diners had finished before switching off and clearing away. Previously staff switched off equipment 10 minutes before closing without any conversation or warning! Reception staff (sorry didn't get his name) friendly, polite and helpful. Bathroom in our room was especially clean.

Service could've improve little better, i mean no matter any number of guest take rooms, i dont underground logic of putting 1 tea bag and 3 coffee sachet and 2 milk. All the staff are lovely and are extremely helpful in accommodating guest needs. Sharon, Leanne and Joanna were especially helpful and are a great team. The hotel is very clean and welcoming. The breakfast had brilliant choices and the food was lovely. The location was perfect for Chorley, Preston and Bamber Bridge. We will be coming back.
