We stayed in the king suite and it was amazing. The gas fireplace at the end of the bed and the outdoor view was just a few of the amazing touches this Inn had to offer. The staff were the amazing and friendly. The breakfast was delicious. It was very foggy so it made the entire experience feel like something out of a fantasy. The bed was so comfortable and the shower amazing. Our only regret is not planning to stay more than on day. The guest lounge is a nice touch to be able to slip out for quiet time. Next time we hope to take advantage of the courtyard seating and relax under the trees. We couldn't recommend The Fairville Inn enough! It is just another piece of the puzzle of making a trip to Longwood Gardens or Winterthur Museum a perfect memory.

Lovely serene spa-like accommodations. We reserved Springhouse 2. The in-room fireplace was a nice feature. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The property was in very nice condition, well kept grounds even in winter. Updated decor felt airy and fresh. Our room (springhouse 3) was comfortable and clean, pretty views from the balcony, fireplace was great to have on the 2 nights we stayed in mid february. I might recommend the property considers having a small rug/shoe mat for the winter months. We used one of our own towels for our snowy/muddy shoes do that we didn’t track that throughout the room. Dining room could also use a nice area rug or two to help with sound echoing. The staff was polite and friendly. I would definitely recommend to singles or couples staying in the area (probably not the best for families with children given the nature of the suites/rooms layout). Electric car charging was convenient and nice to have on property too. Overall great place to stay in the area!

Almost all communication with host was by text which caused problems trying to find our new room when the A/C was broken.

Fariville Inn was amazing!! The cutest bed and breakfast. The rooms are beautifully renovated and decorated. I recommend booking the carriage suites. The owner Willie and inn keeper Joy are both so friendly. Breakfast was wonderful, at no extra charge! Location is great: less than 5 mins driving from Longwood Gardens & Kennett Square. We had such a wonderful stay at the Spring House for our 10th Anniversary. Willie, the very kind owner, met us in the rain to show us to our beautiful room! Spacious and impeccably clean with a very fresh design. A hand-written note and fresh-cut flowers were so welcoming. The room was so beautiful and the breakfasts were delicious! Perfect spot to spend a weekend in the Chadds Ford area. We were so lucky to get the last room for our visit to Longwood Gardens. Staff were very welcoming and even offered our friends (who could not get a room there) to join us in front of the fireplace for afternoon tea. Breakfast was delicious and served in a lovely setting. We only stayed one night but would definitely go back again. The location was great since we were going to some of the local attractions. The room was very attractive and comfortable. This old inn sits on a beautiful 5-acre lot with woods and a pond. Unfortunately the buildings are dilapidated and really need refreshment: it's not so romantic to have terrible beds and no sound insulation! Currently for sale and hopefully the next owners will have capital to bring it up to standard. Until then, avoid the incredibly overpriced accommodations.

We attended the jazz and wine festival at Longwood gardens last week. It was fantastic. I absolutely love the Brandywine Valley, and the gardens continue to get prettier every year. The inn was close to both the gardens and winterthur, another excellent place. Breakfast was tasty.

She offered to look up attractions, opening times & print maps, etc. Our room #4 in the Main House was an early American getaway with a small TV. We were looking for an Inn that was nearby the Brandywine River Museum. This more than filled the
bill. Easy to find, near a main road and yet calm and quiet. The common spaces of the Inn are traditional and dignified, the rooms are spacious and cozy. Our room faced the back of the Inn on the second floor -
totally quiet, spotless and home-like. The Inn recommended Buckley's Tavern nearby, and it was a perfect choice for dinner. Breakfast in the Inn dining room the next morning was ideal. Great choices, excellent coffee and refills, friendly service. Our trip was far too quick -- We'll be back to the region, and will definitely stay here again.

Very nice B&B in a great area
Very pretty B&B in lovely area of Chadd's Ford. The service was outstanding - warm and considerate and not fussy. Breakfast was very good and well organized. We stayed in the main house so can't comment on the other buildings, but the overall appearance was charming. Perfect as a base of operations for visiting the many neat things in the area - we went to Andrew Wyeth exhibit at the Brandywine Museum, which was fantastic. Only downside is it's on a major road so there's a lot of noise if your windows are open or you're sitting in the courtyard.

Fairville Inn stands apart for its numerous strengths. We are looking forward to our fourth stay there in just a few weeks. The Inn's bucolic setting is quiet and relaxing, yet it sits within easy driving distance of all the most popular Brandywine Valley attractions. The accommodations are comfortable and well-appointed; the Inn offers an excellent breakfast and afternoon tea; and most importantly, owners Laura and Rick Carro and their always-helpful staff are a dedicated team.

We enjoyed relaxing at this inn for 3 nights while touring the Brandywine Valley. Room was cozy with a nice view of the property and cleaned fully each day. Breakfast had three nice options each day and was served in a lovely dining area in the historic house, however the staff could use a bit of training.

The Fairville Inn is simply gorgeous and it is ensconced in a beautiful, sylvan corner of Delaware...close to Winterthur, Nemours, the Brandywine Museum and Longwood Gardens. The carpet and bathroom in our room could use a little updating, but those details won't keep us from returning to Fairville.

Located in a very nice neighborhood within close proximity to Longwood gardens, Winterthur, lots of nice restaurants. The staff and inn keepers are very friendly and informative. The rooms are so nice and cosy with a Victorian style decor and furnishings. A good breakfast was served. Lovely place to stay and overall it was a great experience.

Amazing Stay at the Fairville Inn
You can tell when people love what they do. It's seen in their actions, their words. Our recent stay at the Fairville Inn was a bittersweet one, and not in any way reflected on the inn. I had planned a little getaway for my mom and I - a special getaway on the year anniversary of my dad's passing. Something we do every year, we spend a few days together and share lots of great memories of my dad doing the things he loved to do. This year however, we'd just lost my brother the week prior to our getaway.
Everyone told us to go...what would we do otherwise? Just sit around? And so we came, and were greeted with warmth from the entire staff. It felt like we were staying with family and even got to give some much needed hugs and affection to Ozzy, the charming inn dog.
The food was amazing, and Rick even shared a recipe for one of the treats he'd made for tea. We even elected to have some special desserts made for one rainy evening, when Mom didn't want to go out. We told Rick to surprise us and he did, with two decadent desserts served in from of the fireplace.
Rick's suggestions for dining were spot on and his personal touches (fresh flowers in the bedroom replaced regularly) and cactus and flowers all over the inn (with beautiful blooms in December) were amazing. I'm eager to go back in the spring and enjoy the experience again.

A nice and welcoming B&B outside Philly
The B&B is located in an convenient location outside Philadelphia. Our room in the Carriage House was nicely decorated and quiet. It has a veranda to a very nice garden. When we arrived the weather was a bit chilly, but there was a fireplace in the room. The Innkeepers gave us good ideas for places to visit, e. g. the Longwood Garden nearby. That was really a beautiful garden worth to see.

Great place to stay and great location
We stayed at the Fairville Inn last week for three nights. We were there a year ago and liked it so much we returned. Just as good the second time. The room was very clean and well appoointed. We had a small porch to sit on. Afternoon tea was a very nice feature and breakfast we tasty and had great eye appeal. The location for Brandywine activities and restaurants can't be beat. Highly reccomended. I should mention that the innkeepers were most anxious to help with dining reservations and travel directions. Like having your own concierge.

Could love it with a few upgrades
Like this B&B but it does need some upgrades in the bathroom fixtures and TV sets. Need to move them into the 21st century. Breakfast is good, afternoon tea nice, rooms comfortable and clean and we like the location. It is fairly priced but seems a little expensive for amenities. And the entire staff is very nice.
