Hotel was actually better than expected. The location is perfect if you’re wanting to touch base in Taiwan, shopping & food close by. The employees were friendly, professional, and allotted us 1 extra hour to check-out due to 3am check-in. Room was clean, TV, hot shower, decent bed. Breakfast buffet was great!

The first room smelled very strongly of smoke. They were nice and gave me a new room. The second room smelled like piss. We bought febreze spray and an air freshener, nothing helped. Thank goodness we were only there for one night. We didn’t even take a shower bc we didn’t want to chance it. I gave them a two because the staff was nice, they had free breakfast, and the location was good.

A/C: Individual A/C in each guest room instead of central system. You have better temperature & air flow control. Room cleaning service is good and in timely manner. Staffs are very professional and willing to help. Near the Train station & MRT.

Hotel building is aged but staff did great job keeping it clean but next blocks sewers smell awful.
A bit of language barrier but figured things out for what we needed. Great breakfast items served daily.
The thin young man with glasses at front desk was great, speaking English well and friendly absolutely adding extra comfort.
Highly recommended.

The property is very ideal for tourists looking to explore outside of Taipei. It is near the train and bus stations. The buffet breakfast is very good. Downside is whenever we go back to our room after a tiring day, the room smells like smoke or cigarrette. Not sure where it is coming from since we are in a non-smoking room.

Had booked to stat here for 4 nughts, ended up booking another hotel after 2. Area is not close to anything, but a 2min walk to a train station. Didnt feel welcome by people in the area, got many stares. Hotel staff is good. Booked a room with a refrigerator for my medication only to find its more of a slightly above room temperature cooler. Staff advised they can place my medication in the kitchen fridge. Room was small and smelled musky. Noticed a large black mold stain on the wall by the bed. Other than that room was clean. Realizing the location was not walkable or convenient and concerns about the black mold I booked another hotel after 2 nights.

Great hotel and staff. Got there early so the room wasn’t ready but everything else more or less was. Just needed my signature and a bit of information that took less than a minute and a tag was ready along with space to stow my luggage while I go for a walk and get a meal as a rush order was put through for my room to be readied.

Transportation is good for the area. Room is tiny, have cigarettes smell, you can hear next room people cough,.

The location of this hotel is near the local Taoyuan Train station. It only took us less than an hour train ride to arrive at this hotel from Taoyuan international Airport. Lots of nearby restaurants. We stayed at this hotel for one night. The receptionist is accommodating as we arrived at nearly 12 midnight and let us check out before noon. Our room was mid-sized, clean, with a comfortable bed and pillows. Our buffet breakfast was included and offered hot meals. Good Wi-Fi reception.

Loved the location of this hotel. The hotel itself was very old and the rooms are outdated and dirty. Bedsheets and towels are also very old. The room smells like mold and there is black mold growing in the bathroom. Bathroom looks like it is not cleaned properly. I would only recommend if you don’t care about cleanliness.

The staff at Hedo were friendly and accommodating. I think that our room was a little stuffy but it had two double beds, which was perfect for our family. The location in the center of Taoyuan was a positive-- lots of nightlife, good eating, good shopping, and easily reached from the train station. There is a 6:30 am shuttle (turned out to be a large taxi) to the airport that worked well with our schedule and the staff packed a nice breakfast (egg, sandwich, tangerine and tea) for all of us. I would definitely recommend this as a reasonable place to stay at in Taoyuan, and before a flight from TPE.

After check in and entering the room, we were welcomed by a weird smell and not sure what is the cause of that smell, most likely every time we back to the room the smell was there and at the next day we turn off the humidifier to see whether the smell coming out from there. The room was very small with 3 single bed and we hardly to put our 29 inch luggages, no table and no chair, the the small window quite high and you only can open the window curtain If you step on the bed. The hanging lamp full of dust. I would say the breakfast just average. The location is very convenient to the train and bus station, many restaurant and mall nearby what make us feels a bit better.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city, there are many shops around it.
They have free shuttle to the airport and a breakfast box was ready for us the next morning because we left early to catch our flight. Very thoughtful.

TERRIBLE THIN WALLS. YOU LITERALLY HEAR EVERY CONVERSATION. AS PER OTHER REVIEWERS HAVE MENTIONED, THIS IS A \"LOVE\" HOTEL. WE CHECKED IN FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY DUE TO A FLIGHT LAYOVER IN TAIPEI. THE WALLS WERE SO THIN THAT WE COULD HEAR ENTIRE CONVERSATIONS CLEARLY FROM OUR NEIGHBORS TO THE RIGHT AND TO OUR LEFT SIDE OF THE ROOM. NOT EVEN MUFFLED SOUNDS, BUT CLEAR SOUNDS AS IF THE PEOPLE WERE IN OUR ROOM. AT NIGHT WE HEARD THEM MOANING AND MAKING OUT. WE HAD TO BANG THE WALL SO THAT THEY WOULD SHUT UP, WHICH THEY DID. AFTER ABOUT AN HOUR OUR OTHER NEIGHBORS ROOM FROM THE OTHER SIDE ALSO STARTED TO MAKE OUT WITH THEIR NOISES CLEARLY AUDIBLE. WE BANGED THE WALL YET AGAIN! COULDN'T NOT SLEEP WELL. THE WAS ALSO A HUGE HUMMING NOISE COMING FROM SOMEWHERE THE BUILDING! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. THE HOTEL SERVICE WAS ATTENTIVE AND THE HOTEL WAS VERY CLEAN. OUR ROOM HAD THE THREE TWIN BED AND WAS SO TINY AND WE COULDN'T EVEN OPEN UP OUR LARGE LUGGAGE IN THE ROOM HALLWAY WITHOUT TOUCHING THE WALL AND NOT BEING ABLE TO COMPLETELY OPEN THE LUGGAGE. IF YOU ARE STAYING HERE LONG TERM, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT. IF IT'S ONLY ONE NIGHT MAYBE IF YOU HAVE EAR PLUGS. THE HOTEL IS NEAR A LOT OF SHOPPING AND CONVENIENT WITH THE TRAIN STATION ONLY WITHIN A 5 MINUTES WALK.

Worth hotel ever.

Please don't come here. First of all, they don't even have their own parking lot, you have to drive hella far to park your car and walk back to the hotel. If you are lucky you can get somewhere closer, if not, I'm sorry you have to walk. The hotel is on the 10th floor, and this whole building has a lot of (idk what you call this but) strippers.
Hotel room looked nothing like the pictures they uploaded and it smelled super bad. It made me feel like this whole building was finished remodeling in 3 days.

The hotel is really nice with a lot of nice features. Staffs are very nice and provided a box of breakfast since our flight was really early in the morning. Location is fine, except it was in the middle of popular area, with a lot of people and buses around. Love their airport shuttle service.

This hotel meets more than my expectation; its location is near Taoyuan train station within 3 minutes walking distance, surrounded by several department stores and their hospitality/service impressed us a lot(they packed us a to-go breakfast for our early morning flight, ...etc). Needs updating. Room is small but functional. There are no noise barrier. I could here every car passed by and every noise anyone made all through the night and I was on the 5th floor. Bed, pillows are ok. I arrived early, although the room was ready, they wanted to charge me NT200.00 for early check in!! Not too courteous, I wasn’t happy, no way will I pay them! I just sat at their closed restaurant, I can use their WiFi. I had an early flight and they were nice to prepare a breakfast box for me

We stayed here for 1 night as we had to catch an early flight in the morning.
The hotel was lovely and staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. They booked our taxi to the airport the day before, which was already waiting for us when checking out. The hotel also provided us with breakfast to take away as we left before breakfast would start at the hotel.
Our check in and out was smooth and our room was cozy and clean. There were 3 of us staying in a room which we had 3 single beds. We didn't have much room to open our suitcases which didn't matter as we only stayed one night. Wifi was fast, the fastest we actually experienced in any of our hotel stays in Taiwan.
We didn't see much of the area as it was 1 night but the hotel is located nearby Taoyuan TRA train station (3 minute walk, take the Wanshou Rd exit) which is handy. The airport was about 30 minutes drive from hotel. If you want to go into Taipei to explore, it took us 35 minutes from Taipei Main station on a local train.

We had to go to the airport at 6:30 am, the hotel staff took the initiative to offer us the takeaway breakfast box even though it's our choice to go to the airport that early which is before the breakfast hour.

Well. We checked in and asked that we have a room with a window. The window was there but about one foot away from a wall so no actual light. The air conditioning didn’t work and although we had someone check it and they said it was working it did not. The tv didn’t turn off.

Value for money. Good location near Taoyuan train station. Family room is quite cramped for 3 adults, with little room to place luggage. Breakfast was adequate. Carpark can be arranged at a nearby carpark lot for a flat rate of TWD200 till checkout. Elevator is very slow.
