Very sad that this hotel added a $15 per day parking fee in the middle of winter when it is basically empty in the middle of the week. I have been staying here for the last 10 years and the fee is new this year. Sad how hotels are looking for new and inventive ways to gouge their guests. Will have to find a new place to stay next year, one without pointless fees.

Terrible experience. I was unable to travel to Ocean City due to unforeseen circumstances and requested a refund in advance, but the managers at Residence Inn by Marriott Ocean City denied my request. Guests should be clearly warned that when booking through a third-party platform, refunds may not be granted by the hotel regardless of the situation. This policy should be communicated more transparently before booking to avoid misunderstandings and financial loss.

Cons..The rooms were not ready even after 4 pm. An inside pool was super small. I think it is good enough only for little kids. My family always like to go to a pool in hotels; so we couldn't do it at this time. \"Restaurant\". I would not call it a restaurant. \"Bar\" is not a real bar. I would say it is a little spot to hangout in the evening time, but quite nice one. Don't expect good food. It is rather ok-food.

Reservation had preference of adjoining rooms. I confirmed at check in and was told they had adjoining rooms available. When we arrived in our rooms none of the 3 rooms were adjoining. I called the front desk and spoke to the same person who checked us in and was told there were no adjoining rooms available, contradicting to what I was told. Also, she did not give any information regarding breakfast or pool hours.

Staff very courteous. Room was not up to standards i have experienced at this location before. Door drag when entering room would not open fully. Shower head leak spraying on ceiling. Toilet tissue holder would not stay in place with tissue on it. Cabinets were not cleaned well around handles. Otherwise room was acceptable. Location is great and convenient to area. Would stay again but property is not being maintained well as it was in the past.

First night there I was locked out of my room for an hour. The battery died in the door and they couldn’t locate the tool to open the door. After they opened the door it took them another 20 minutes to fix it. And the doors lock didn’t work after he fixed it so I couldn’t deadbolt the door at night. The toilet in the bathroom wasn’t bolted down so it moved.

The Residence Inn was very clean and the front desk staff was very helpful. The room above me overflowed their shower or something and water came into my shower through the ceiling light. Staff were very apologetic when I reported it and said someone would be out to fix it. The location is great, it’s an easy walk to the beach and other places, but back from the “main drag” a bit.

A few things weren’t completely clean in our room, inside of oven, a couple spots in bathroom around shower/sink area, and a random lighter left on our balcony but other than that super well kept. Breakfast was very good with a lot of options! We loved that the outdoor pool was open later and was heated. Having a full kitchen and ocean view balcony was also nice. Elevators and area was safe feeling. Easy to go to and from hotel. The bed was super comfortable! Rooms weren’t soundproof because I could hear anything going on in hallway even with bedroom door closed but that wasn’t a huge deal. The last day of our stay at 9:15AM someone did start coming in to our room even though we had the “all-set” tag on door and saw me naked after I had just showered, so that was super uncomfortable and frustrating. Overall we were happy with stay and would stay there again.

The location of outdoor pool is perfect, overlooking the bay and pool has a bar. Staff was amazing and the breakfast buffet is included throughout your stay. It is not just a continental breakfast. We stayed at the property in June 2025 and had two rooms for the family. The property is clean, well managed with courteous staff. The beach is easily accessible by walk. I personally loved the decor of the place. We had rooms at fifth floor and had great views. The outdoor pool was clean and has stunning views as well. Kids enjoyed being there. The breakfast has good options and was being refilled by the staff who were greeting and making themselves available. Tables near buffet were cleaned right away. The rooms were spacious and had stovetop and other stuff which is great to stay with kids. Overall we all had great time there and will definitely stay at this property for our future trips.

Very disappointing. Girl Scout troop, we requested connecting or adjacent rooms for days in advance and on the morning of check in. Was not given their version of adjacent was down the hall. One room ac was broken on a very hot day, they could not fix it and their solution was to move to another hotel. They offered to pay for a lower value hotel for us to move to, we had 10 people in our party (6 young girls who were tired from spending the day outside in the heat). We ended up staying in one room with ac and one with fans. Was told we would be refunded for both rooms and would not be charged for parking - as of today no refunds and nobody has reached out or returned my calls or emails. Extremely disappointing. How does a Marriott not have an emergency ac service? How can they not give adjacent rooms with advanced requests? Sad experience for a group of hard working Girl Scouts.

Having previously enjoyed a positive experience at the property, we decided to return. However, we were surprised to learn about the daily parking fee only at checkout. More concerning was the musty odor in the room and the malfunctioning AC on the second night, which unfortunately led to me waking up with a migraine due to the inconsistent room temperature. Just not what we expected. Very disappointing.

This was our second visit to the Residence Inn Ocean City. The suite was very nice with a beautiful balcony view, comfortable bed and spacious accommodations and the staff was friendly and helpful. We were a bit surprised by the $15 a day parking fee, which we were not charged on our previous visit in September of 2023.

The price was absolutely ridiculous, no accommodations. It wasn’t worth the stay. Our room was half finished with wooden trim showing, caulk in our bathtub falling apart. For a 500$ a night room, I anticipated way better. We stayed in a 75$ air bnb Sunday night, and it blew this hotel out of the water with accommodations.
