Wow!!! The hotel property and room were gorgeous!! Fabulous location, right in the heart of the French Quarter! Yet still quiet and felt like a world away. Fantastic location. Literally everything we had on our bucket list was within walking distance. The room was gorgeous, the bed was as good as it gets and the staff was exceptional. Everyone was over the top helpful. We had a problem with our toilet and they moved us to a new room. The location couldn't have been better. Parking for the car was awesome and safe as we had a months worth of stuff kept in the car. The courtyard was a wonderful escape after a long day of walking the city.

This was our second stay here. The staff is still amazing. This is an old building. It has old building things. That’s called character. We got a larger room this time with a courtyard facing window. Being converted from 200 year old townhouses, these rooms are quirky. Again, it’s a 200 year old building. There are noises. Maybe it’s haunted. There are steep door thresholds. We like these unique characteristics. If you don’t, then you may not enjoy this place. The secure parking and the central location are also extremely important to us. We were able to walk a few blocks to catch a streetcar or bus to go to several destinations where we didn’t want to drive and it was a bit too far to walk. So many fantastic dining options super close. We were really happy with our stay and will definitely book here again in the future.

The hotel was fabulous and for the price unbelievable! Got the rooms with view of the Magnolia courtyard. Staff set up tours for me. Ordered pizza for me on one of the nights I was too tired to go out. Fabulous restaurants within one block. The Vampire and the Stanley within a block are outstanding restaurants. Enjoy!

Room 216 should not be considered “deluxe” under any circumstances. Mattresses are in dire need of replacement. Bathroom too small. Seating area too small and only 1 chair. I have stayed in other rooms in the past in this same hotel several times with complete satisfaction. This stay was disappointing.

This is by far my favorite \"home base\" for visiting the Quarter - location is wonderful, ambience is incredible (better than many, many more pricey options) and the staff always welcoming. Patrice was absolutely fantastic, and the bellman who helped with our luggage was prompt and kind. Great visit, as usual - I'll keep booking you for every stay in NOLA!

We stayed at Place d’Armes on our drive back from a cruise and it was exactly what we wanted in the French Quarter: beautiful, historic, quiet, and perfectly located.

The hotel is made up of multiple 18th-century townhouses arranged around peaceful courtyards, so you get the character of New Orleans without the Bourbon Street chaos. Even though you are literally steps from Jackson Square, it feels tucked away and calm once you walk through the gates.

Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the courtyard was a great place to unwind after a long day on the road. Staff were friendly and efficient, and check-in was easy.

One of the biggest bonuses was onsite parking, which is rare and extremely valuable in the Quarter. It made arriving and leaving stress-free.

If you want to be right in the heart of New Orleans without the noise and hassle, Place d’Armes is a fantastic choice. We would absolutely stay here again.

Everything was great nothing to complain or point out. We stayed in windowless room and this is good room if you want to have good sleep til morning since you cant tell if it is morning or not but in other hand if you need some sun to your room or outside view you have other options.

Lots of charm in this place! Our room had a constant hissing noise coming from the pipes. Not sure if this is all throughout the property or just in the section where our room was. Didn't notice it initially, but once we were trying to fall asleep. When I mentioned it to the staff they just laughed it off and said that is just the \"ghosts\". If you're a light sleeper maybe ask for a different room. Oh, and the parking is not free, $50/ day additional charge to your room. I think that might be standard for the French quarter area as parking is limited, but it caught me off guard. Overall I enjoyed the hotel.

The hotel is beautiful! Just what we were looking for! We loved the feel of historical News Orleans with the courtyards and balconies...it felt like we stepped into a other world! Just keep in mind that there are rats around outside as you walk at night, in the courtyards and on the streets. It is a great walkable location to everything in the French Quarter! Staff is very helpful, accommodating, and kind. They made our 1st visit to NOLA wonderful! We hope to return again and we will definitely stay here again!

The room was clean and neat, though the bed was a little too firm for our comfort. (Not much can be done about that.) The French Market coffee was delicious! Staff were very friendly and courteous.

We have stayed at this hotel many times for many years before our last visit.. The rooms was beautiful.. a bit small but really all we usually need.. In the past we have stay in room 111 and we loved it...maybe the next time we will request this room again...
