The hotel was beautiful and the location was great. The only staff on property were housekeepers, but they were very nice.
Only quibbles were the lack of check in staff (had some issues with the keypad), and the shower was a little confusing

The room is cute but I didn’t like the building. Really nobody to welcome us. The walls are quite thin so you can hear a lot from other rooms. The water from the shower is quite irregular and also the bed squeaks

Chambres spacieuses, décorées avec bon goût, et emplacement parfait. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ces aspects.

Cependant, certains éléments ont nui à notre séjour. L’acoustique de la chambre était problématique : nous entendions tout ce qui se passait dans la chambre 403, comme s’ils étaient avec nous. Leur horaire plus festif a malheureusement affecté la qualité de notre sommeil et de nos deux journées sur place.

À noter également : il n’y a pas d’ascenseur, ce qui peut être important pour les personnes à mobilité réduite ou avec des bagages lourds.

Enfin, nous avons remarqué que certaines portes d’issues étaient maintenues ouvertes. Pour des raisons de sécurité, il serait préférable qu’elles demeurent fermées afin d’assurer l’intégrité des séparations coupe-feu et la sécurité des usagers.

Nous espérons que ces commentaires constructifs pourront contribuer à améliorer l’expérience des futurs visiteurs.

Wonderful location. The property manager was responsive to having our bathroom cleaned - there was something on the floor that may have contributed to an odd smell.

The unit would be perfect if they would consider replacing the carpet in the living room, putting high quality new large towels in the bathroom (the bathmat was quite frayed and towels were thin) and having a better mattress and bedding.

Great stay for a young couple or for short stays.

It wasn't clear that there would be no lobby or staff, just a code to enter and a code for the room. There is no elevator and the staircase is narrow. The lobby and staircase were worn appearing.
The location is outstanding - could not be better. The room was terrific- clean, uncluttered and everything was in great condition.
Now that we know it, we would definitely stay there again.

The room is great, the hotel is quaint but there are parts under a little bit of constitution. You have to communicate your needs with staff via text or email but they’re extremely responsive and accommodating. The area is fantastic and the easy access to the metro for the Canadian Grand Prix is a bonus.

It was a wonderful place to stay. I think though if you have walking problems the stairs might be tough while carrying heavy suitcases. But the folks answering emails do remind us if we need help they can get help but to give them time to respond and get someone to help. My son and I had a great visit and made wonderful memories touring Montreal.

This place is a hotel without reception desk but all the self check in instructions are written very clearly. Definitely a hidden gem in old port Montreal, close to everywhere. Room is lovely with many amenities, I've been to Marriott and Hilton and this place is no different quality wise. The only thing is parking during events can be super difficult, but there is this underground parking called Complexe Chaussegros-de-Léry that was $20 for 24hr, and maybe 3-4 min walk from the hotel.

Very modern and new rooms. Comfortable beds. Even the couch was comfortable to sleep on. Big room! Very modern decor. Stylish. Only cons: walk up stairs only, no in room fridge, bathroom had moldy musty smell and no working exhaust fan (rm 304). Great location. Cool spot! Impressive!

this has a great location to explore the old city and tons of restaurants. The room was simple but comfortable enough.There is access for guests to a minimal kitchen and laundry room. It is an easy 10-minute walk to the cruise port. The negatives are a lot of stairs with no elevator, and no staff on the premises.

This is more of an apartment complex than hotel as there is no reception or lobbies. But it worked perfectly for us. Check in was smooth. You can park right in front, unload luggage and then park car.
Room was spacious. The kitchenette was down the hall. Coffee in room.
3rd floor, no elevator, but was not an issue for us.
Warm bagels in the entry area in the morning was a nice touch. Comunicación was excellent .
We walked everywhere. Highly recommend!!

The small hotel was in the perfect location in the Old Port. We walked everywhere. There are great restaurants and bars right there. The Italian restaurant attached is wonderful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and kitchen on the floor very accommodating with large fridge, cooking available and tea/expresso.

No Personal touch

The hotel is very quaint and right in the center of Old Montréal.
But there are no people in the hotel, meaning no one actually works there. If you have a question or need you have to email and wait. There is no personal touch, you are given a code to get in and that’s the end of it

Because the building is historic and the road outside is paved with cobble stones, every car driving by is quite loud, but the hotel thought ahead and provided us with earplugs if we wished to use them. This was one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. The room was large, bright and inviting—not at all like a typical hotel room! The price was very reasonable too. The bathroom was larger than most and had nice towels, robes and slippers. The location is perfect—on a quiet street with all the great restaurants and shops of the old city close by! Highly recommend and will return!

This property is located in a very safe, walkable,
“happening” neighborhood. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the Metro. On the weekends, it is not quiet, but that only added to the fun.

Very well equipped, had everything we need plus things we didn't even know we needed! Info to access the property was straightforward and although there is no check in desk or anyone on site, the communication is good so I'm sure if we had needed anything it would have been done promptly. The croissants in the lobby every morning were a nice touch. Excellent place to stay!

I really enjoyed this property. Location was amazing. The bed was comfy (and so was the couch as a bed). Only complaint was the shower. I understood that there were two knobs to turn the water on/off and to adjust temp, but it was just too hot for me.

This tiny hotel was wonderful! The rooms are clean and nicely decorated; comfy beds, big bathroom with plenty of space. The room has a sink, mini fridge and microwave, as well as an electric tea pot and small nespresso machine. They think of everything—space heater, Bluetooth speaker, dishes, a comfy chair and little bar area to eat. The location is perfect, right in the middle of shops, restaurants and cafes.

It was very good value in general. Well situated, clean, stylish and comfortable.

We would have appreciated an elevator…my husband uses a cane and found the stairs challenging.

We didn’t like the garbage removal that went on for 90 minutes starting around 6:00 am on a Sunday!!! The hotels in the area should complain to the city.

Shared kitchen was very well equipped, property was clean and self-check in works very well. With texts from the property manager, I felt they were ready to take care of any requirement.

However, the room doors do not have any security locks, so once you are in your room, there is no way to secure the door. This might be a safety issue for other solo women travellers. Unless this property fixes this issue, I wouldn't stay here again. Any staff that has the code or guest who happens to see it could enter the room at any time, I only felt safe by jamming a chair against the door and tying the handle down as it opens both up and down.
