We stayed during the Italian summer, routinely 35°C days or more and high humidity. For some reason, the room's lavatory was swelteringly hot. The AC also wasn't very strong, perhaps as a result of excessive heat emanating from the washroom. Better idea to stay in the winter. They say parking available, but it's very expensive at 10 EUR/night compared to public parking.

This is a nice hotel and old facilities, but the problem lies with the owner. They should put more effort into cleaning and maintaining the corridors and buildings. There are a lot of bugs, and you should never leave the windows open. The staff is very nice, but I am complaining to the manager or owner about these issues.

Very good value hotel within a 10 minute walk of the Firenze Rifredi station. Very clean, plenty of towels, shampoo, air con, TV, and 3 beds in the family room. They stored bags for free too. It could do with a refresh, but everything works, beds are comfy. I recommend this hotel to other travellers.

First time in Florence. Hotel was well located for travel around the city centre, as the tram line started literally two hundred metres from the hotel. Hotel’s website didn’t give a true reflection of the hotel rooms. They were outdated and in need of modernisation. Needs a kettle in the room, but this is generally seen as normal in Italy. Reception staff were excellent, but to pay tourist tax, and car parking charges was, I would consider a little steep, as we have subsequently visited three other hotels which all offer free parking. In short, hotel will do itself a great service if the rooms were upgraded, but great location, as I have said earlier, the staff were incredibly helpful, and friendly.

La ubicación es accesible, no caminable a la estacion mas cercana que lleva a todo lo necesario.
La atencion al cliente en el escritorio no fue nada amable, excepto por una señora que nos ayudo mucho y nos permitió dejar las maletas en recepción. No habia comida disponible, ni en el hotel ni al rededor, las camas son de pésima calidad, seguramente son muy antiguas, no hay televisión y la regadera es muy pequeña, tener todo esto en cuenta máxime si son mas de 2 personas.

The story of our pleasant stay

We were truly blessed to find such a cheap hotel offering free parking just 20 min (by car) away from Florence city center. AC was really good even though there was a bird dancing inside. Water pressure was great, way too great for the space. We checked in twice and they passed the inspection. You can do laundry and hang it from the window. Nice staff.

August stay- decent!

We were a 3 ladies group who stayed at Hotel Corolle. We enjoyed our stay, to be more specific we enjoyed the service they provided (i.e. requesting a taxi service to pick us up, breakfast hosts were on top of everything, and ease of checking in and out. My friends also added that they felt very comfortable in the bed with AC on blast - we visited around August and it was a little hot outside, also we came from France whose hotel we stayed at had no working AC, so this was a total upgrade).
The only things I would point out was that it's a little far from the city center, we didnt take the public transit so we always had to call for taxi - which was at least 20 euros one way. Inside the room, we could also easily hear some regular banging or showering from the other room. Other than that, this was a decent place to stay at.

The property is well located if you do car hire, as we did. It is well located in between Venice, Bologna and Pisa. It has a good parking space, the reception, waiting area and dining area are well maintained.

The staff are very helpful but they need to be more courteous.

The room is quite laid back and outdated, needs improving. The wi fi is slow and can not upload or even watch youtube.

This builfing is super old and smelly.it is a rip off for what you are getting. Shower is wierd and hard to control the water flow, it is super old and no front desk from evening. The next door room coversation noise is easily overheard, annoying while you rest. Hotel’s prople don’t care!

The location of the hotel was not ideal for those unfamiliar with Florence. We got lost many times rn route, going through areas that seemed silent and empty. The rooms were outdated - in our double bed room it was simply two cots pushed together. It was extremely loud in the room due to other guests, and we could hear the actual conversations as if they were in the room with us. The WIFI did not allow for any distractions from the rest. We found ourselves avoiding going back to the hotel until it was time to sleep just to not be there as long.

The walls need to sound proofed. You could hear everything going on in the room nearby and you actually have to whisper to not disturb your hotel neighbors.

Location is not so good, a bit far from downtown and needs more than one bus trip to reach anywhere

Staff not very friendly especially restaurant lady

Got back to the hotel room one day and found the door open wide with nobody inside, housekeeper claimed she was getting fresh towels

I dont really understand why they advertise they have 3 stars. Ok they are cheaper than rest of the 3 stars' but common they are not even a star hotel. If anyone stays next room you are in trouble , when they flush the toilet it sounds like they are right beside you:) you hear anything in that hotel no isolation at all.
No coffee tea machine, forget about fridge i asked about ice they have nothing cold:)
I am not even sure even to talk about A/C, yes they have a/c in the room but you have to see it its from ice age..
There are two elevators but i got scared to get in them. So i used the stairs i was lucky i stayed on the first floor:)
Everything is older than old. Free breakfast is just a myth . So my opinion they have to renovate from zero

Dirty, run down hotel. Found bugs in the room and bed. Room was dirty on arrival. Beds were well worn and uncomfortable. Asked for a wake up call be it never came. Breakfast was included but very limited. Internet access is spotty and goes in and out. Taxi cabs did not want to come out to pick us up due to construction near the hotel. Free parking was the only positive. Price was low but be ready to be uncomfortable. Avoid this place of you can.

Good affordable hotel with free parking

This is my second time at Hotel Corolle, I want to stay in familiar places. This hotel has free parking, and easy access to a bus line line takes you to downtown Florence in 30 minutes or less. Basic hotel however is has all I need for a relaxing night.

Old hotel in Florence

The hotel needs to be renovated, the wifi was not working in the room and we had to go downstairs to the lobby to connect to the wifi. The room was also quite noise as you could heard what is going on outside and in the next room. However, the hotel staff was good and helpful with advice on how to get around. There was also free car-parking.

Terrível. O quarto cheirava a esgoto, havia um problema no sisitema de esgoto do banheiro do quarto que deixava o quarto com um mal cheiro Terrível. Tive que tampar com papel higiênico o bide e manter fechado todas os ralos da bia e banheira. A pia do banheiro éstva trincada dando um perigo a mais para usar o lavatório. ESSE HOTEL NAO TWM CONDIÇÕES DE SER CLASSIFICSDO COM TRÊS ESTRELAS PORQUE O SERVIÇOS É MUITO RUIM. Eu escolhi porque tinha a classificação de três estrelas e pelo preço, mas me arrede ter hispedado neste hotel. Deveriam reavaliar a classificação e talvez ate retirar da lista de hoteis do site. Pelo serviço que prestam a qualidade baixa não reflete o serviço do site.

Esperienza orribile. Sulla prenotazione era stata promessa una singola con letto ad una piazza e mezzo. Assegnatami camera che di una piazza e mezza era di larghezza. Aria condizionata inesistente in quanto l'apparecchio installato, vecchissimo, non era funzionante. Bagno maleodorante. La carta igienica era già sul finire. Unica presa elettrica disponibile per la ricarica era in pratica sul cuscino. Rumori e voci provenienti da altre camere. Notte a 30 gradi e senza frigobar in camera. Fortuna aver scoperto la mattina che esistono dei distributori automatici in una sala attigua alla hall. Etc...

L’albergo ha una struttura anni 70, le camere sono piccoline e gli arredi datati, ma è pulito e con aria condizionata in camera. La vicinanza all’ospedale di Firenze è stato determinante nella scelta ma ci torno volentieri anche perché dispone di parcheggio interno privato gratis. Il personale molto gentile. Chi come me pernotta per poi recarsi in ospedale, non paga la tassa di soggiorno.

La struttura è accettabile, se non sei schizzinoso Abbiamo soggiornato in tre per due notti tra il 14 e il 16 Aprile. Siamo rimasti delusi dall'assenza di servizio di colazione (anche a pagamento), ma solo un semplice distributore per merendine e caffè, e abbastanza seccati dalla mancanza di pulizie. Avendo visto, uno di noi, la cameriera dentro la stanza, ci aspettavamo di trovarla pulita. Invece no. La posizione non è di per sé ottimale, ma si trova vicino alla fermata del tram che porta in centro... quindi ok. Inoltre accanto all'hotel vi è un centro commerciale. Nota positiva: il personale si è dimostrato cortese e disponibile. Per il resto, è un hotel funzionale, ma non ci ritornerei o lo consiglierei se non come ultima possibilità.
