I love the place. I booked an apartment with 2 rooms. It was very clean and has a lot of space for 3. One bathroom. The property is really close to a tram station, and it was easy to move around. Very easy to arrive from the airport. Just have to cross a steet from the tram. There is no reception 24h, mind that. The only difficulty I had was to find a nice restaurant near that was open on monday night. But I took the tram and found a nice place. The tram costs 1,70 euros/trip. There is no garage to park a car and the street is full.

We loved this place! It is in a perfect location, outside of the city center but very close to the tram/subway. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They stored our luggage for us as our train out was later in the day, a lot later than check out. The rooms were clean and roomy. They helped us take our luggage to our room. It was nice having two bedrooms and we had a small patio. They had coffee and water in the room and told us that we were welcome to all of it at no additional charge. I have absolutely no complaints about the facilities and would definitely stay here again if I am ever back in Florence. My only suggestion would be a later check-out time, at least 11:00. The check-out time was at 10:00 and several guests were all in the lobby at the same time trying to check-out right at 10:00.

Affordable, Clean and Great Location

This little apartment was just the right amount of space for our 3 night adventure in Florence. It was nice to relax in the living area at the end of a long day of touring, although it would have been nice to use the TV but no instructions were left to know how to operate it. The kitchen was simply but adequately supplied but we only used it for snacking and wine. The beds seemed too firm but were surprisingly comfortable. Our only complaint was the skylight directly over the beds that had no covering so it was bright. The price is very affordable and the location was perfect; less than a 5 minute walk to the Tram. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotels.com overview suggests contemporary and instead it was basic and industrial with inadequate toiletries and TP. Currently we are paying the same amount for an equivalent stay in Rome. The difference in properties is stark - the PopArtment in Florence did not meet our expectations. Their spacious rooms/apartment for Italy might be too much to keep clean - there were dirty spots in the kitchen, greasy finger prints around door openings and the tile floors were sticky and dusty. A syrupy spill by bedside table could have been there for a while. The hotel management had lots of rules and seemed to operate the hotel more like a hostel.

The decor is a cool retro chic. A throwback to the 1960s or 70s. However, the mattresses feel like a throwback to the Stone age. Not surprisingly in Florence, off street parking here is nearly non-existent.

I stayed 2 days there. The unit of the property is big, and with the kitchen. The location is good (close to the central train station). But the breakfast is just a cup of coffee and a piece of croissant, call a snack, not a real of breakfast. My experience with the staff was disappointing. I booked a three-day for three families. When we arrived and we were told that one unit was leaking and arranged one family to another hotel far from city (close to airport) without any compensation (we paid high price in order to aviod traffic and close to the center of the city and group together). The reception staff was incredibly rude and made us feel very unwelcome and sounded racist. when ohter client check-in late, the unit is still avariable, just because of us looks like oriental people. Very dicriminatory and it's not based on first coming first serve...

The only thing that we didn’t appreciate was the fact that we booked a room with a kitchenette and after we booked we got an email saying that if we used the kitchenette, we would be charged 28€. Seems a bit weird. Also, check out at 10 am. A bit early.

There is a grocery store that is a 3 minute walk and a kitchen with a fridge and microwave which was nice to have. There were also bottles of water in the fridge when we arrived which was a nice surprise. We arrived after 8pm due to train delays and the staff was in communication with us to ensure everything was ready when we arrived and it was fast and easy to check in.
It was a quick and easy 15 minute walk from the main train station but we also utilized the tram which is 1.75€ for 75 minutes and right around the corner (3 minute walk, from the hotel.
The staff were kind and even gave us a bike to use one day when we needed to get across town for something.
I would definitely stay here again.
The only down side was laundry was 8€ to use the washer and 5€ for the dryer which only went 15 minutes at a time.

We only stayed for the night. The apartment was spacious and clean. It was further to the train station than we had gauged and there wasn’t much real close as far as food, etc. we walked about a mile to eat dinner and it is a high traffic area. If you are staying in Florence for awhile, this is probably a good choice because of the apartment size. The bed was very firm, but most the places we stayed in Italy tended to have firm beds.

Breakfast included and they delivered to your room daily.
Wish they has more variety though.. miffins or toast or even a hot breakfast
croissants daily can get a bit tiring.
Plus they were not very fresh. However, it was included so you get what you pay for.

Nothing much around the area but a great little restaurant recommended by staff and that did not disappoint. A poplular.pizza place and a few sandwich places. All delicious.

Top spot near town.

An excellent location, less than 10 minutes from Snata Maria Novella by tram, the stop is 2 minutes away. Also, a lovely little area about 2 or 3 hundredeeters away with shops, bakery, bar/restaurants if you don't fancy going into town.
Everyone we met was lovely and helpful from check-in to check-out. The apartment we had was on the top. Floor and had a tiny little terrace which was lovely for having coffee in the morning. The apartment was spacious, nicely laid out, plenty of wardrobe space, and the bed was big and comfy. Our son slept on the sofa bed which was also comfortable.
The only slight issue was that although there is a kitchen in the apartment, it is just a microwave, and if you want to cook at all (we made breakfast every day) it costs extra to get an induction hop plate and a couple of saucepans, but it costs very little really.

I was not able to stay at this property. The unit I was assigned was not as pictured. The sofa bed was not a sofa bed it was a chair bed and the mattress was thin as cardboard. I was place in a unit on the ground floor, my preference would have been a room on a higher floor but I was told all rooms were taken. Upon entering the room, I checked the doors leading out to the terrace. The doors did not lock! When I presented my concerns to Simona at the front desk, she was rude and did not offer any solution. She wanted me and my family to stay in the room until another potentially became available. My family and I were in a foreign country and we were not willing to risk our safety. We had to leave this property immediately for one that was safe and suitable.

I spent two nights at this hotel, which was a very special experience for me. I had paid the full amount in advance, but upon check-in, the staff informed me that I needed to pay extra for my child. Despite having already paid an additional charge for my son as indicated on my receipt, they issued a separate invoice for 80 euros.

On the second day, I requested additional towels from the front desk. The staff member rudely informed me that there would be an extra charge for the towels, stating, 'We do not provide housekeeping services like other hotels!'

These two incidents made me feel uncomfortable and dissatisfied. As a result, I hurriedly checked out on the morning of my last day.

Spacious nice apt decent beds add on fees

Spent 4 nights in Florence so preferred an apt with the option of making some meals, washing some clothes, stretching out.
Nice apartment, full of light, spacious, pleasant,, good shower, kitchen had all needed, bed comfortable, WC good & language setting on the TV switches shows to original lang. Bakery, restaurants, market within 5 min.
Excellent communal areas: really nice interior courtyard & very nice lounge (good for big groups!)
Staff were friendly, welcoming.
However, some things that should be noted:
(1) 5-10 min farther out from the historic center than we would have liked. If you're a walker, not bad. Coming from airport or train or bus easy to reach via the tram system: 2 blocks from the building. But it's a 20 min walk to he heart of the historic area, not easy to go back for a quick rest between activities. The walk at night isn't great (not very bad, just not great) Check Google Maps for where you'll want to spend time.
(2) We got a unit with a kitchen: be aware (unique in our experience!) they charge 28 Euros for using the kitchen! Does not appear in the description, only in the fine print in the fees list (along with the parking fees) They waived the fee after discussion, because 4 nights? But if you're only staying for 2-3 nights, be aware of the extra euros you'll pay.
(3) Laundry facilities are available - we didn't use them as the fees for the washer & dryer were higher than other places we've stayed and didn't need it as we'd just had that elsewhere.

Nice apartment. Very spacious with King size bed, kitchen, and a little balcony. Very close to REDI tram stop. Easy to get to/from Santa Maria Novella train station/downtown. Don't wait in line for a taxi for 12 euros take the T2 tram to REDI stop for 1.7 euros! Then a 4 minute walk to Popartment. Easy to drag your luggage along those sidewalks too. Trams stop is to the right when you exit the train station. Girl at the desk was informative as well. Highly recommend!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is impecable, very comfortable and rhe staff is friendly and welcoming. The lady at reception speaks Italian in such an animated way that even if you don't speak a word of it you can understand everything she says. The location is outside the tourist area but 3 stops by tram will take you there in no time.

It’s clean place, there’s tram station across the place so you can take that to go to main Florence train station or city Center (10 mins) some bathroom lights weren’t working but we didn’t bother complaining as it’s not big issue for us. It’s a good alternative for anyone who doesn’t want to splurge on high end hotels. One tip to future customers: call the hotel directly and confirm your reservation as we had a hiccup there, Expedia didn’t notify them or some miscommunication that we almost didn’t get the room however Popartment had one room available so gave it to us. Other than that it’s a good place to stay . Also, confirm whether kitchen is allowed to be used for free or if there’s extra charge .

After paying closer attention to the GPS, we drove right up to the building. There was parking available for our personal vehicle.
We had a lovely 2 bedroom apartment with a pull-out sofa to accommodate the people in my family. The room was clean with 2 air conditioning units. We felt very safe in the building and the room. We chose to have the breakfast, delicious croissants with your choice of drink. They were delivered to our room!
As far as getting to the big highlights of Florence, you are about 200 meters from the tram to take you into the city center. It could not be easier.
Honestly, if we get back to Florence, PopArtment would be my first choice in hotel. Quiet neighborhood and fabulous front desk staff in the evening and the morning.

Second time staying here and it was disappointing due to the cleanliness. Large blood stain on the sheets was kind of a shock. Bed sheets were nicly made so the housekeeping made the bed knowing that there was a 4\" diameter blood mark. They did change the sheets quickly, but still not good. I will not be returning.

Very clean property, very spacious and comfortable apartment and very friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay there. There is only one washer for the entire property and it is only opened from 830am to 1030pm, so if others want to use it as well, it might be difficult to do your washing (although we did not run into this problem). The property is a bit far from the city center (20min by foot) but the tram is really close. Overall, it is a good place to stay as it has a lot to offer.

Our appartment had a very large room with a huge bed, a second room with a single bed and a couch that converts into a bed in the living room. We had a kitchen and a table to eat breakfast in the appartment. We also used the washing machine and dryer in the building. Staff was pleasant and helpful. There is a tram stop just a few minutes away. Would stay there again for sure

Average property. I expected much better accommodation for the price I paid. If I compared this with the other properties I stayed at it was lacking some services. My stay in Italy was fantastic, I travelled and visited a couple of medieval towns. However, this property did not fulfill my expectations . Neighbouring property staff wakes you up around 3 a.m. in the morning with trolleys banging outside as they are bringing clean bed linen for nearby hostel.Reception Staff should speak better English as this is a crucial aspect to communicate clearly and effectively. I would advise everyone to find something more cheaper and closer to the Center as this will be more beneficial for the tourist . I was originally planning to book a different property nearby city Center . However, it was sold out. Please book your trip earlier as you will have better options to choose the right accommodation matching your requirements .

What a gem of a property located just outside of the city core. So close to transit and you have all the amenities of your home placed within a very spacious apartment. The staff were super friendly and attentive towards our needs assisting us also with our tour arrangements. The room had a very nice balcony, high ceilings, walk in closets and so much more. It was just a great place to start and unwind your day outside of the bustle of the busy streets of Florence. They also presented us with a very lovely parting gift after our fantastic two week visit. Why would you stay anywhere else.

Very easy access by tram from the station and centre... and back (5 minutes). Staff very helpful.
