It is a hotel inside the historic center. They had parking for us. The breakfasts was amazing. The room had a balcony with a great view. Highly recommended

Stay here!

The location, service, food and atmosphere are all excellent. Jimmy, behind the main desk, is very helpful, proud of the hotel and local culture, and very professional. The hotel is a better place with Jimmy there.

Friendly hospitality! Older hotel but that is the charm in Montepulciano. The location is terrific, easy to park your car and that is a rarity in the area. We had the most amazing view from our room and that was a bonus! Highly recommend this quaint, adorable hotel.

Loved the balcony with a beautiful view. Breakfast was ok and the location in the town was great and easy to park out front of the hotel. It is a bit of a climb up to the room so beware if you have trouble with stairs.

Montepulciano Hotel

Our hotel in Montepulciano was nice. It is a great location, and we were pleased to have parking for our rental car since there is no train station in town. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. The room was clean and comfortable even though the towels were a bit on the rough side. The hotel is older so it feels more like a house than a hotel. Everything in the room worked but some of of the fixtures kept falling off. I'd say the only real problem was the fact that there was no elevator and the office is on the second floor.Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Like a dream!

All was perfect. It was clean, confortable, and super service. The breakfast were very various and delicious. The terracce is just a dream! The hotel is in the good situation to visit Montepulciano and to go to the bus station. Even the WiFi was always correct! This hotel was really too much!!

Great stay in Montepulciano!

Absolutely loved our stay at Albergo Il Marzocco. We only stayed one night, but the staff was extremely friendly & helpful. Room was immaculate, spacious and had everything we needed. It was a very authentic Italian experience! Would definitely stay here again if ever in Tuscany.

EXCEPTIONAL HOTEL

Four of us had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful and charming hotel in Montepulciano in August 2016. We had rooms 26 and 24 on the second floor. Both were large, with ample storage, huge bathrooms, comfortable beds and perfect balconies with a view of the beautiful Tuscany hillside. The rooms were very clean and well maintained during our stay. The breakfast was perfect with a large variety of healthy options to choose from, and eggs made at your request. We stayed at this hotel while attending a Wedding about 10 minutes away. Were were there for two nights, and actually wished it were more. If we ever return to the Tuscany area, this hotel will be first on our list to seek accommodations.

Perfect hotel in Montepulciano

A friend and I stayed two nights and it was perfect in every way. The ladies who run the hotel are so sweet and pleasant and accommodating. Impeccably clean, comfortable, they gave us a huge room with a terrace. Breakfast was perfect. I will return with more friends. Great location in the center of Montepulciano.

The hotel is perfectly located for the visit in Montepulciano . The access by car is easy , just after the city door entrance and the hotel manager helped me to accommodate the car in a space in the square at 200 mt. walking distance. Great breakfast , clean room and great managing people! One of the best ratio quality / price. To be recommended !

The GEM of Montepulciano

The Marzocco is the GEM of Montepulciano. It has got a great location, the staff is wonderful and the breakfast is out of this world. Every morning there are fresh meats and cheeses, homemade breads, juice, espresso and eggs to order. What a GREAT experience. We are definitely going back. The rooms are nice and the hotel just oozes charm.

Una casa antigua , muy bien conservada; excelente atención. Habitación enorme, no faltó nada. Muy buen desayuno !!
Si van en auto: como el hotel es dentro de las murallas, asesorarse bien con las propietarias sobre como entrar y donde estacionar. No es difícil, sólo es mejor ir informado para dar con la entrada adecuada.

It's a great place to stay in when you want to discover Tuscany! The staff's amazing. The hotel is charming, but don't expect all those modern things like fridges in room, safety box in room, and so on. But if you want anything it's just to ask and the staff's there to help. It is a charming establishment, very charming and very Italian. The wifi is superb. The breakfast is good.

Come gli alberghi di una volta, dove ti senti accolto con gentilezza e cordialità.L'albergo si trova in una posizione comodissima, subito all'inizio del centro storico in cui è possibile entrare in macchina e parcheggiare in uno spazio riservato subito adiacente all'ingresso.La camera che ci hanno riservato,un po'old style ma calda e confortevole era munita di un terrazzino con bellissima vista.Segnalazione d'obbligo per la colazione,veramente di qualità con ottimi salati,spremute d'arancia e dolci fatti in casa.Aggiungo che la signora che ce l'ha servita ci ha aiutato con grande cortesia a risolvere un problema che avevamo con la nostra auto, telefonando lei stessa ad un paio di officine meccaniche trovando quella che ci ha messo in condizione di ripartire in sicurezza.Ci siamo trovati benissimo.

zentral gelegen am Rand der Altstadt

Ein nettes Hotel, zentral gelegen am Rand der Altstadt von Montepulciano. Parkplätze sind zwar etwas knapp, aber mit vorheriger Anmeldung klappt das. Das Zimmer war geräumig, aber durch den Steinboden etwas kühl. Dafür war die Aussicht auf das Tal hervorragend. Das Bad hingegen war etwas klein, aber sauber.

Underbart ställe. Gammeldags men mycket charmigt. Det fanns AC vilket vi var lite osäkra på utifrån beskrivningen på hotels.com.
Frukost var toppen.
Ingen hiss. Helt OK för oss.
Hotellet ligger innanför stadsmuren. Nära till vinbarer, restauranger, butiker. Mycket bra läge.
