Stayed here for a four day ski trip. Booked a quadruple room for 2 as the rooms for two server very small. This room was perfect for two with plenty of space. Cannot imagine four adults sharing same space. The breakfast buffet was perfect for our needs. Three gripes with the property. They charge for bottled water in the room…. Surely a four star property could offer complimentary water. We asked for the use of the room until 3 pm as we were skiing til 2. They wanted 50 euro for the privilege. They do not offer proper changing facilities other than the toilet downstairs for guests who want to ski prior to departure.

Great hotel in a fantastic location!

Charming hotel in a fantastic location. Rooms were quite large for a European hotel. Beds were very comfortable, rooms were clean. Steps away from the main plaza and several outstanding restaurants only minutes away walking. I will definitely come back to Aosta and stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Great stay!

Although this hotel doesn’t have it’s own parking space, yet the 6euro parking lots nearby are a perfect option, it makes us like local and it mean so much to us just being fewer days to live like a local. Breakfast buffet were a good option if you want get on you outing sooner. We very happy with our stay.

This was a great location for walking from the train station. The rooms were modern and had good sized bathroom. Elevator to all floors. The little restaurant had lovely afternoon tea. Very close to the town square and all the shops and restaurants. WiFi needed code every use but was a strong connection.

A gem!

Such a good spot! Lovely comfortable rooms, steps away from the main drag, and an absolute jewel box of a breakfast area- straight out of a Wes Anderson movie with treats to match and the sweetest staff. Seems like the restaurant was recently updated. Striking views of the mountains right outside.

The hotel was great and within walking distance to the Roman gates. Staff was super helpful, especially the front desk gentleman. Got me a reservation at a local restaurant on a busy Saturday and really made my stay amazing. Went above an beyond to help me as their guest.

Stupidity in the reception

Generally everything was good but is this 4 star ? Great breakfast nice service ,but restaurant not operating in the evening was surprising for a 4 star hotel ? The check in was not helpful . I was expecting to pay for the two days on arrival but they made fuss and wanted an extra deposit ? I refused they seem not trust their customers and need a deposit this is very annoying . I have never been asked for a deposit before though I have often paid for the whole room stay in advance ! Then the other surprise was that they charge extra for breakfast around 12 Euros which I had to pay separately cash why not put in and add it to the room in the first place ? It is a classic case a nice stay ruined by stupidity in the reception some were more helpful than others and the management should take a rain check and sort themselves out !! One good point is the location it is very central , near railways and bus stations.

Charming boutique hotel

Very nice little hotel in great location. This hotel is in the center of town, but just a few stores off the main pedestrian street (so it's quiet). We had rooms with balconies which were really nice. Aosta's mountains are beautiful and being up on one of the top floor was great to enjoy the view. Rooms were freshly and very tastefully redone. Bathrooms were very nice and clean. Only real complaint is the that the pillows were really flat and firms (bricks covered with fabric is what my friend deemed them). Beds were otherwise comfortable. Service was very nice. The hotel restaurant is currently only operating to serve the breakfast buffet (which is okay--lots of stuff, but none of it great), but for 10 Euros, definitely with it to have downstairs off the lobby for your basic coffee, juice and bread/cheese items. Also note that there really is no parking at the hotel. They have a few spaces, but they were all in use when we were there so we had to park at the bus station garage. Good news is you can drop your luggage at the hotel and then leave the car. And the parking garage is only 4 blocks down the street!

The rooms are beautiful and clean. Just make sure to bring your detailed reservation showing how many beds and the size. I had to pull my reservation as they had me down for two twin instead of double and twin combo. Anyways it was sorted out quickly once I pulled my reservation. Hotel breakfast was very nice and the young lady maître D was very friendly . The hotel is well located to the old town so easy access to everything. Thank you!

The location is very central and just off the main piazza. There is parking nearby at a cost and there is a small supermarket also nearby. The hotel itself is very neat and the staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was not included but can be paid for on site.

First rate most comfortable hotel -fantastically well situated — all good -/
apart from one incident when we arrived and noticed that in our room whilst we had complimentary coffee there was NO milk available. When we enquired we were told that the resto where milk could be obtained ( bizarrely ) at EXTRA cost to us was in fact closed (Nov 1) so it looked as is we would drink no coffee at all! Oh Dear! We were also told that most clients there drank their coffee BLACK ........?!?!?! Never heard that one before!!
I in fact went to the local Carrefour and bought my own milk and enjoyed a cup of coffee in the room with my wife! Perhaps in future management could provide milk at all times( even powdered would be acceptable) to avoid an embarrassing conversation such as this to develop particularly after having had to motor some 500 KMS to reach Aosta.. But apart from this we had a great overnight stay and enjoyed an excellent « Cena » in the old part of Aosta which is a lovely place.

Aosta - a hidden treasure in the Alps

Aosta is a very interesting place to stay in the middle of the Alps. For me the highlight of all my Italian trips was the ascent of Monte Biano in Skyway from the Courmayeur valley. The hotel was conveniently located for the train/bus station and for the centre of town.
The one disappointment with my room was that the WiFi was not good enough to support Skype which meant that I was not able to complete my business satisfactorily.
A minor problem was that it was difficult to use the shower and I had to ask for help.

Nice, clean hotel room. Large, clean bathrooms. Close to amenities. Staff helpful, gave discounts for local tourist activities. Breakfast was excellent. Parking in public garage nearby, but just have extra cash for payment, as is 6 Euros stated but ended up paying over 8 Euros (not sure if taxes, etc, as instructions in Italian.) Nice dinner recommendation. Only issue, as with all our Italian hotels this time of year, is it was quite warm and even though listing states air conditioning, it is not turned on until later in year. Room quite warm at night despite open windows.

Nicely renovated hotel in the very centre of Aosta, in fact so central you wonder if the satnav is making a mistake. Presumably mainly used as a winter hotel for skiers and snow lovers, in summer the price is reasonable though not cheap. However, breakfast was included and was very tasty. Well set up for the journey over the St Barnards pass back to Martigny and then Geneva. Recommended!

Comfortable rooms and great location. Stefano at the front desk was amazing and spent a lot of time talking to my husband about things to do in the area. Also the manager was great. The only real issue was they sometimes seemed understaffed- especially at breakfast. We had to clear a table ourselves in order to sit and it took awhile to get silverware and coffee but these were small things. Overall we liked this place a lot and would definitely stay again.

Herrlich unkomplizierter Aufenthalt. Das Hotel hat Liebe zum Detail und viel Charme. Es liegt direkt autofrei am Plaza Narbonne an der Fussgängerzone. 6 breite Parkplätze in einer Tiefgarage in 200m Entfernung können im Hotel gemietet werden. In der näheren Umgegend gibt es ebenso ausreichend kostenlose Parkplätze. Lassen Sie sich von der Rezeption ein Restaurant für den Abend empfehlen! Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, WLAN ist sehr gut und wenn man lecker frühstücken möchte, bietet die hauseigene Pâtisserie ein Buffet. Alternativ genießt man das Frühstück in einem der Cafés in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Bar schließt früh, man bekommt in der Lobby aber auch zu später Stunde noch ein Glas Wein serviert. Insgesamt ein Hotel, in das man gerne wieder kommt.
