A little noisy inside the house because the door locks are sometimes hard to get. The stairs to reach the floor are quite steep and there are no lights; breakfast was average. Other than this the place is super well located and the owner is a very nice person.

Very convenient location. Close to train station and city centre. We walked Florence. Did not need public transport.
Accomodation clean and comfortable. We were given nice Italian breakfast every morning. Enjoyed our stay here.
Only down side lift is too small. Only fits 1 person at a time. Accommodation on 2nd floor. If you have issues with stairs may not be for you.
Overall good experience and would stay again

I felt very welcome here. The place is everything I needed for a solo trip. Very well managed. Matteo is very nice and staff is also attentive. The breakfast area is well kept. Coffee machine is excellent. Very walkable. I’d stay here again.

Matteo was so warm and welcoming! The breakfast was nice with yummy pastries and fruit, yoghurt, cereals, the works! The building is a bit rundown, but the location is great and the rooms were very pleasant, even if a bit small.

Everything perfect!

Location is unbeatable walking distance with ur heavy luggage from the train station yet it's not shady. Very very nice owner helped us with our wifi problem and everything else. Easy walk to all sights. The hotel made us felt like home. I will come back when I visit Florence again!

I picked this B&B because it was convenient to the train station - and that it was. A five minute walk. Also just a 10 minute walk to most of the main sites. The breakfast also had a good variety of food - nothing hot, but sufficient. Room was clean and a good size. Only complaint would be the bed was not very comfortable in rm 1. Also, the side street the hotel was on was a lot busier than one would think, because it is a shortcut from the train station to the main road. So would recommend staying on the back side of the B&B. Otherwise fine - just a little more than I would have liked to have paid for what you are getting

NOT FOR EVERYONE

Not for seniors or persons with leg, knee or back problems. Exit from the tiny lift is hazardous. No smoke alarms,
entrance and exit is controlled by a very dated metal key system. The plus side is the owner / manager is a very likeable fellow who tries to please, the rooms are clean even though there is a 14\" TV that only receives Italian channels. Even getting into this facility can be challenging with 18\" sidewalks and cars parked up against the front door of ARCO ANTIO. For students looking to explore Florence on a budget - go for it, it will submerge you into the true culture of Florence.

A pleasant surprise

The 6 room property has been renovated beautifully and offers a standard of comfort way above its rating. I had a single room, but even this was quite spacious by Italian standards, with a king single bed, a good sized wardrobe with a mini safe, a desk and a flat screen TV. The bathroom was small but had modern fittings and was spotlessly clean and included a reasonable range of toiletries. The air-conditioning worked perfectly.

My only slight gripe would be that the bed was a little springy though that didn't stop me getting a good night's sleep.

Breakfast was included and was taken in the charming breakfast room. The continental breakfast selection was excellent - juice, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, bread, cold meats, cheese. There was a machine which made excellent coffee. One other thing I liked was that you could help yourself to tea and coffee at any time during the day.

The WiFi internet was free and the service was good and reliable.

The B&B is a 5 minute walk from Santa Maria Novella train station and also within walking distance of the centre of Florence where all the attractions are. There are also many restaurants within walking distance of the B&B.

I felt very comfortable here and Matteo does a great job in running the B&B. It's a shame that the stairwell is a little dark and dingy and that the lift small, but otherwise this is a 2 star property that offers a 5 star service.

Modern hotel with a feel of Italy

We were only at the hotel one evening but it was exactly what we needed. The room was clean, modern, air conditioned and comfortable. Bathroom was nice sized and functional. Location was in walking distance where we were coming from. Friendly and helpful young man at front desk.

Clean and quaint with great location near the main station and a quick walk to the attractions. Staff was wonderful and the room was big by Italy standards. Breakfast is standard Italian with a bunch of small options and there is a coffee machine so you can choose your style (latte, cappuccino, etc.).

Nice place to stay

Staff in this hotel are just great and is good located. Staff will provide you with exact direccion how to get there impossible to get lost with all the small bridges and small streets in Venice.
Breakfast is basic but nice.

Very easy to get to from Firenze S.M.N Station. When you arrive at the B & B it's a little daunting, but just press the buzzer, either walk up the narrow stairs or jump in the one man lift (my hubby squished in, but not with luggage!) go to the third floor. Matteo is the owner/manager, he is very helpful. They provide breakfast (not very filling and no variety though) . We loved that the windows in the room opened up to let fresh air in. Our bed was a little springy. The bedroom was huge but the bathroom was very tiny. They have free wifi that was the best I had out of 15 different hotels in Europe

Excellent B&B & Excellent Host

My husband and I recently stayed at this B&B which we booked through Expedia (based on the reviews). We are so glad that we did this. The B&B was excellent - just a few minutes walk from the SMN railway station. It was very clean and comfortable and best of all the host (Matteo) was just wonderfully helpful - he even reserved our museum tickets for us! The breakfast was plentiful and excellent. We absolutely recommend this place to anyone planning to travel to Florence.

My husband and I (both 27) really enjoyed our stay here. The place was nice and clean and very comfortable. The location was great, close to the train station, lots of restaurants nearby, close enough to the city center to walk and far enough to be away from the noise. We only took a bus once to go to the viewing point, other than that we walked everywhere. Matteo was really nice and helpful. He was always there if we needed him. The breakfast was really good for Italy. The place also has a lift (very small but lots of fun) which helped a lot with the baggage. Would definetly stay there again if we return to firenze.

Loved this place!

The breakfast was excellent. We loved this place..It was close the major attractions (walking). It was slightly outside of the busy commercial districts but this was worth it because when we arrived we were relaxed and felt at home. The owner made a reservation for us to the main museums and was helpful in planning our trip

到着が真夜中となりホテルを探すのに苦労しましたが，立地はよく便利な場所にあります．建物はとても古いですが（３階までは小さなエレベーターがありますが，壁の照明のスイッチを入れないと真っ暗です），部屋は清潔で掃除も行き届いています．オーナーとのやりとりはすべてSNSで滞在中一度も会うことはありませんでしたが，返事も早く親切です．ただ，チェックアウト時に宿泊日数に応じて滞在税が別途かかる点が要注意です．これは事前に支払った宿泊費には含まれていません．食事場所に悩んだら，隣のケバブショップが安くて味もよくおすすめです．

とても清潔で自由なホテルです、そして朝食が最高でした！！クロワッサンとっても美味しいし、ハムやチーズもあるし他のパンも美味しいし、フィレンツェで食べた食事の中で一番美味しかったです！！出入りも自由に24時間出来ますし、いつでも使えるコーヒーメーカーがあります、お湯も出ます！石鹸、シャンプー、コップ、ヘアーキャップありました。タオルも大、少あり、毎日変えてくれました！ホテルにはマッテオというとても優しい方がいます。
日本人への注意→言葉に自信がない方はチェックイン時間必ず伝えておいた方がいいです！ホテルの方いないとき多いので！あとは電気ケトル無し、室内スリッパなし、朝のお出掛けは音に気をつけて、他の部屋に響きます。ホテルは静かですが、ホテル前の通りが夜中まで音します、
でもこのホテルだけではなくどこでもそうだと思います、気になる人耳栓持っていった方がいいと思います！近くにコインランドリーや綺麗なスーパー、中央市場、観光名所ありますので、本当に何にも困りません！治安もよかったです！
また泊まりたいです～

Highly recommended!

Arco Antico is very close to Firenze SMN station, the host Matteo is a super nice guy. We arrived Florence early in the morning, he quickly introduced us the major sightseeing spots in Florence, offered us breakfast and quickly prepared the room so that we can check in early. 10 mins walking distance to the museum where statue of David is locate, and also to some other sightseeing spots as well. I love the cute little lift which is a lovely experience staying at Arco Antico. The room is spacious, clean and quiet. Good wifi connection. Will definitely stay there again if we travel to Florence next time. Love it!

優しいオーナーがいます。

女一人旅で利用しました。
《良かった点》
駅から徒歩で5分くらいと近く、ドゥオモまでも歩いて15分くらい。
オーナーは優しく、いろいろ説明してくれる。
部屋は簡素だが、広く、清潔感あり。ドライヤーも部屋にあった。
朝食はパンやマフィン、ハム、チーズ、フルーツ、ジュース、コーヒー紅茶があり。
バスルームは、ハンドシャワーだし、シャワーブースもまあまあな広さ。
アメニティは、せっけん、シャワージェルあり。

《少しマイナスな点》
鍵を開けにくい。最初は慣れずに戸惑う。
エレベーターが狭いので、大きいスーツケースだと入らないかも！？
他の宿泊者がうるさくすると音が聞こえてくるのが気になった。
朝食は8:30～なので、早く出発しなきゃいけないときは食べ逃す。
オーナー不在の時も多いので何か困るとコンタクトしにくいかも。

総合すると値段が安いし、過ごしやすかったです。女性一人でもお薦めします。

サンタマリアノベッラ駅からも主要観光地からもアクセスが抜群に良い！

３泊しました。まずは悪かった点、というか私がついていなかっただけだと思いますが。
こちらのホテルのシステム、ホテル2か所の入口と部屋の鍵を全て自己責任で常に持っていなければなりません。私が渡された入口用の鍵の調子が悪かったので、オーナーにその旨を伝えました。交換されていることを祈ります。
それを除けば、ｱｶﾃﾞﾐｱ美術館からも割と近いですし、なんといっても駅に近い！おいしいレストランにも困りません。部屋は清潔で、シングルでしたが十分な面積。窓からも風景が見える（ﾄﾞｵﾓは見えません。ただ外が見られるだけ）。ただＢ＆Ｂなので、朝食はシンプル（チェックアウトの日に出た、クロワッサンはおいしかった）、コーヒーやカプチーノはｾﾙﾌｻｰﾊﾞｰ。
泊まってみて感じましたが、給仕さんが朝のコーヒーを入れてくれて、”ザ・ホテル”な感じが好きな人にはお勧めしません。ちょっと質素でした。
でも1泊７０ユーロだと思えば、十分満足いく、良いＢ＆Ｂです。
オーナーかどうかわかりませんが、お世話になったマッテオさん（お見かけ３０代前半位？？）もフレンドリーで大変感じのいい方です。

駅からのアクセスも良く、主要観光スポットへのアクセスも良好。しかしながら部屋は静かで快眠できた。管理人（オーナー？）の人柄も良く、レイトチェックインにも快く応じてもらった。古い建物だが、内部は快適に過ごせる。

Good location and room

The room was larger than we expected, and it looked exactly the same as the pictures on hotels.com, which was nice. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Staff was nice and helpful. 5 minutes walk from the train station, which was convenient.

とても良い！また泊まりたい。

今回のイタリア旅行で５箇所泊まったうち、一番良かった宿です。場所はS.M.N駅から徒歩５分程。車通り、人通りなどそれありにある通りに面しているので、少しうるさいかもしれませんが、私は全く気になりませんでした。主要観光名所などにも、もちろん歩いて行けます。部屋は綺麗で使い心地が良く、毎日ベッドメイキングもしてくれ、とても気持ちよく過ごすことが出来ました。宿のオーナーも適度に親切です。朝食は日替わりでクロワッサンやパンケーキ、常にあったのは食パン２種類、果物、ヨーグルト、シリアル、ハム、サラミ。と充分なものでした。またフィレンツェに行ったら絶対この宿に泊まりたいです。ちなみに、ホテルのとなりのケバブ屋、美味しかったです。店主も良い人でカタコトの英語で楽しく会話しました。

Das B&B hat mir gut gefallen. Es lag sehr zentral und die Innenstadt war super zu Fuß erreichbar.Es war sauber, die Betreuung war super und alle Fragen/Probleme wurden sofort beantwortet. Ich habe nichts auszusetzen.

Hotellet lå nær sentrum, hadde inkludert en helt ok frokost, og hotelleieren var veldig hyggelig og hjalp oss med å finne fram til ulike severdigheter og gater vi ville besøke. For prisen det koster var vi veldig fornøyde!
