Really great location. Step out the door and you are in the historic center area. Staff on site is a plus. There is an elevator for folks who need it.

Overall, I had a great stay here. The location is perfect and close to everything worth visiting in Florence. My only small problem with this was that I had to check in after hours due to a late flight, and it was difficult to reach them ahead of time. I am from the US so I couldn’t make an international call, I would recommend using WhatsApp to contact the mobile phone number on their website, that was the best way for me to communicate with them. Otherwise, the staff was very friendly and the room was clean!

Awesome Hotel and centrally located.

The room was awesome. Large with a small balcony. 2 extra chairs and table, mini fridge, and small desk. The water pressure and water temperature were not the great. It took a long time for the hot water to come through. The staff was excellent. The room was quiet even though we were on a busy street. I had 3 keys and a Fob to manage my access. I would change that and add electronic apps to the doors to eliminate having to keep up with keys. There is a small elevator but there are two small steps you need to go up to get to the elevator. I definitely would stay here again. It’s located in a central part of Florence just a block from the Market and super close to the train station.

The room isn’t very spacious so for our family with a crib, that wasn’t the perfect setup for a room.

Nice place, very close to railroad and very close to main attractions and Art Center. The front desk people were helpful and pleasant. The rooms and bathroom were very small. No phone, no restaurant, although they have agreements with local places for food. Very easy to get around. AC ran a little hot the 1st night, then the weather cooled and it was better,

近中央市場，食嘢無難度。早上可買出名的牛肚包做早餐，市場裹的比外面車仔檔的牛肚包好味很多。酒店在2樓，有電梯。性價比高。只是中午house keep執完房無幫我鎖門，回去時房門沒有上鎖。貴重品不要留在房間。治安比預期好，街上常見警察及軍人。酒店房間不大，只用來睡覺休息沖涼一流，反正旅行也是為了explore the city,酒店提供了基本的設備。雪櫃的水和汽水是免費的，喝完了還可以問櫃臺再取，每天執房更會refill.有甚麼比大熱天回到酒店有罐冰汽水更完美。非常滿意4天的住宿。check in時職員詳細地講解了費羅倫斯的周邊及景點，更告知泊車點及要留意的ZTL.

Hotel is in a very good in Florence -- near the train station and just a few blocks away from the city center. It's close to a grocery store, shopping market, and there are restaurants open late just two blocks away.

This B&B is on an upper floor of what looks like a former residential building (there is an elevator but it is very small) so there isn't a traditional 24-hour reception. However, it was possible to access the property 24 hours a day after checking in.

We were in Florence on a very hot day. The A/C unit was small, but it was enough to cool the room down eventually and keep it cool.

The room is clean, cosy, comfortable and spacious. There is attention to every little details from the owner. The location is near to Mercanto Centrale and train station. Loud room by reception, good location

The front desk guy was helpful in having us store our bags pre check in and post check in. He explained the town and where we should go. It was close to the shopping piaca and mercator for amazing food. The room itself was super loud - I didn't get much sleep because the bed wasn't comfortable and since our room was right by reception we could hear everything - the phone ringing, people talking, door buzzer.. It felt like I was sleeping in a hallway. I am usually not a light sleeper. Otherwise good location, ok for short term stay. The minibar isn't anything to brag about though.

I enjoyed to stay at La Residenza di Michaelangelo. I like the host put the coke, water in the refig. and replenish the plastic utensil daily. I found them very helpful. The breakfast provided by the cafe right next to the building.It is convientient.

Ok for a short stay

I booked this B&B because of it's proximity to the railway station and affordability. The room was clean and I could tell it had undergone somehow recent renovations, except for the walls which had not been painted in a while. I have to say it was really tiny though. With my luggage on the floor, I had a hard time walking around the room. The common areas are not nice though. They are mainly composed of a small reception desk and a corridor leading to the rooms. The staff was nice and helpful though. I had to leave somewhat early in the morning (8.30) and there was no one at the reception desk yet. As for the breakfast, it was served in a nearby coffee shop and was composed of a coffee and a very small pastry...that would be the usual italian breakfast which is not much. I actually had a real breakfast on the train afterwards.

Short walk from train station and tourist attractions. 2mim from both. Staff were very friendly and told us some excellent restaurants and gelato shops which were the best we had in Italy. Wifi and free minibar included. Break was downstairs in the cafe including coffee and croissant. Room was small and simple but looked amazing , well decorated bathroom as well. Only a bit noisy at night as we were on a main road but that was expected. Overall a perfect 3 star hotel and excellently located to see the sites.

the hotel was very nice and very much in the center of Florence where if you come from the metro with two pieces of luggage you don't have to walk so much in a city like Florence. the price was more than decent since we booked the hotel two days prior to arriving to Florence, the staff couldn't be nicer and Alessandro the owner was very honest, direct and to the point unlike many other hotels and staff in Italy.

Food, shopping, etc...this place offers the small things that make a big difference. Worst experience ever! Do not stay here!!!

Our stay with awful. I requested a room with privacy before coming and got the worst room right next to the receptions desk. We heard all the customers talking to the clerk thru the walls. It was so frustrating. This hotel definetly put a HUGE damper on our Florence experience. To top it off, construction started at 8 am every morning. You could hear LOUD noises coming thru the walls even tho the clerk said it would start at 10am. Our room was the size of a college dorm and looked like one too.
This is not a hotel or b&b it is a Hostel. If you're trying to pay nothing- stay here but would strongly advise against it if you're not in college. I was so excited to visit Florence and staying here was the worst part of our entire trip.

Great room, location and staff!

The hotel is just a few blocks from the SM Novella train station and a short walk from the Duomo, Uffizi in one direction and the Museum of Academia (where David is)in another direction. There are great restaurants and cafes everywhere. The owners Alessandro and his wife Angela were wonderful. I would definitely stay there again!

Allesandro was wonderful when we checked filling us in on the area showing us on a map where things were and recommending a great little family style place to eat. Renovated in a more contemporary style with a nice bathroom, mini fridge stocked w complimentary waters and beverages which was so nice, coffee and tea pot in room and they have a deal with a cafe next door to get a coffee and croissant for breakfast which was nice. We picked this place because we could walk from train station and to local attractions and shopping which was wonderful. My only disappointment is that our room was in the front facing the street and the street was extremely loud w cars and scooters until 5 in a.m I didn't sleep much either night we were there which was a bummer. I would definitely stay here again but would request a room on the back side facing courtyard.

This B&B was very nice and secure. Very accommodating and nice hostesses. Large rooms with large bathrooms. Close to all the sights with very easy access to the Main train station. The only issue we had was our room was facing a busy street. There are constantly cars driving and honking horns on this street all the time. Make sure if you stay you request a room facing the back side of the building.

Very well located - near the station, and a short walk to good restaurants, leather market, and other sights. The staff were very lovely and friendly - we had to check in 30 mins late due to our train arrival, but they were very accommodating. The room was very neat and well decorated, the bathroom was Tuscan-styled and just adorable! The included breakfast and wifi was an added bonus! It can be a bit noisy, as it is located on a busy street, but this was not a problem for us and we loved being in the heart of it all. We had a room with a balcony, which was great! Probably not suitable for someone after a quiet getaway. I will definitely stay here again!

La Residenza di Michelangelo è un b&b con camere accoglienti e ben arredate; è in posizione molto comodo sia rispetto alla stazione sia rispetto al centro città. Un po' rumorosa la camera con finestre su via Nazionale. Accoglienza buona, ma la reception chiude alle 18. Nota negativa la mancanza di riordino e pulizia della camera per i 3 giorni di soggiorno, seppure prevista.

Die Lage des Hotels ist super. Zu Fuss erreicht man fast alles. Das Personal kann nicht immer englisch, was die Kommunikation erschwert. Den Strassenlärm hört man durch die geschlossenen Fenster.
