My daughter and I stayed here for a couple nights late September. The location is very convenient, a 5 minute walk from the train station. We were one block from the leather market and walkable to everything.
Staff was nice and breakfast was simple. Pastries,breads,yogurts,cereal. Do not expect a typical American breakfast.
We arrived a couple hours before checkin time but they labeled our luggage, put it aside and put it in our room for when we returned from exploring.
The place is older and showing a lot of wear. The bedroom was spacious enough but the bathroom is TINY. It worked for us but if you are larger you will have a hard time. If you put your hands on your hips in the shower both elbows will touch the walls. It was difficult to shut the bathroom door because you had to try and move all the way to the other side and try to shut it. The sink drained very slow so don’t leave the water running while you brush your teeth. The hairdryer in the room worked for 20 seconds shut off. The office gave me one to borrow instead.
Be aware in the morning around 6:30-7:00 it will be LOUD with banging outside. I think it was the leather market workers setting up and rolling their carts down the road. At night it was also very loud because you can hear the people on the street and outside in cafes talking.
We are not fancy travelers or high maintenance. I would stay somewhere different if I were to return. Mainly for the noise while sleeping.

If you need to stay near the train station then this property is perfect. But that’s about all I can say that’s positive. Mold in the shower, mold in the soap dish, the cover to the toilet button fell off on its first use. Street noise lasted well into the early morning hours. Look around and maybe save some money somewhere else because this place is a dump…

The air conditioning is controlled by the person at the front desk,they require you to leave the key of the room every time that you go out the Hotel.When you leave the room they turn off the air conditioning.Terrible to sleep with in these conditions.

The best thing about this hotel is it's close to the train station. It's also close to attractions. It's very basic but with a decent free breakfast. Staff were very friendly but it's very noisy. We could hear people on the streets until 3am and again by 6am.

This property was a very short walk from the train station, and another short walk to all the attractions. I highly recommend it if you’re traveling by train. It is not fancy, rather simple and everything you’ll need. I requested a street view room, knowing that the street can get loud at night with restaurants, nightlife, but I used ear plugs and it was perfect. The front desk staff were lovely, breakfast in the morning, and there is no fridge but the front desk staff allowed me to put a couple items in the hotels fridge. I would highly recommend this place for easy, simplicity and convenience!

The hotel rooms were nice, spacious, and clean. The free breakfast was good, but I wish the pastry basket on every table were covered so no flies will get onto the food. On May 31 (Saturday), the lady in charge of breakfast was really nice and respectful but on June 1 (Sunday) the other lady who is in charge of coffee and breakfast was rude as she sighed when we got pastries from the closed trays instead of the fly infested baskets of pastries that were at every table. Whenever any guest asked for something she would show attitude as if it was a huge inconvenience for her.

I did not sleep well for the entire stay. The mattress and pillows were awful!!! The room was very simple. The bathroom was very small. You needed to bring your luggage up and down on your own, This place has many stairs! This hotel sells on location. If you are seeking for location setting only and sleeping on a bed of rocks, then this is the place to go!

The bars and restaurants have tables outside so there were a lot of people drinking outside and having fun but unfortunately also getting too rowdy and loud. Staff was not friendly at all, ot a welcoming environment. TV was smaller than the navigation system screen in my SUV. Shower was tiny and rusted. Florence is beautiful and has a lot of better lodging options where to stay more comfortably. I would not recommend.

The location is convenient and staff is friendly. The biggest issue is toooooooo noisy during night. For the 2 nights we stayed, I was woke up by the outside bars and restaurants noise around midnight at every night , and couldn’t fall back to sleep until 3-4 AM the bars were closed. The windows seem couldn’t block the noise at all. Besides, the door lock in the room seems didn’t work well, the door couldn’t close smoothly, so during midnight I was woke up by the slam door sound multiple times. I thought someone didn’t close their door gently, until my son couldn’t close the door in the morning and pulled hardly, I heard the slam-door sound, I realized it’s the door lock issue.

This little 2-star hotel is perfectly fine for the average budget traveler, but the lack of an elevator made for a difficult climb up the long stairway for my traveling companion (she's 75 and doesn't walk very well). It's on a busy street, so it's noisy outside. You might need earplugs. The layout of the hotel is such that the sound really travels up the open stairway, so people coming in late are very noisy, even if they try not to be. The breakfast is sparse, but I think it's included without an extra charge. Other than the noise and lack of an elevator, this was a pleasant place. It's close to the train station and walkable to all the sights.
