The bed and pillows were amazing. Sunset view from our window could not be beat. HOTEL is not compensating their staff correctly. We had a 15 minute conversation with room service about how they could possibly get a job in the USA. It was impossible to shut the door. On the other hand the front desk staff was fantastic. We wanted to buy those pillows. Breakfast was comped. Thank you very much. Omelettes were fantastic as was dosa.

Stayed for one night. Quick and seamless check in, with friendly staff. We went to our room expecting bags to be brought up, but although it was only a few minutes they hadn’t arrived I chose to go back down and get them. No real issue, just mentioning. Room was great with a nice sea view, and breakfast was lovely. All in all this was a very nice hotel and worth staying in to walk to the Colaba area to sightsee

Staff overcharged and underdelivered. Made me change rooms to downgraded rooms for multiple times.
I requested and paid for late checkout but they claimed that I agreed for downgraded room the night before checkout. Did not make sense to pay for upgrade and they shift to different room and twin bed instead of paid double bed.

Yes I had an ocean view room but they were not co operative at all I had a food poison and got very ill there didn't had the breakfast after having for the first time but they didn't provide anything to me except the fruit extended for one more day due to health issues but no co operation from the staff and property

Fruit flies when I checked in my room - took 4 days of pest control to clear it- Stayed here for 9 days.Did not provide an alternate similar accommodation when I requested to give me another room of similar category - I paid for partial sea view and was offered neighboring building view as an alternative , cheaper than what I prepaid - no privacy . Not a 5 star but 3 star hotel
The Executive Room was dark and small. There was no water pressure in the shower and the water was just trickling! The exhaust fan in the shower didn’t work at all. The soap dispensers in the sink and I the shower was broken and the soap would not dispense at all!!! They say their hotel is a 5 star but it is not. I would rate it as a 3 star for the dark room they had given us. Paid more than $400 for a 3 star hotel! However, the breakfast was good 👍 Friendly staff!. I don’t think I got value for the money I paid!

This was one of the best hotels i have stayed at in India. It’s literally on marine drive. It is one of the classic old school hotels to stay at. Looking at from outside its rather quite inconspicuous but this is one of the most famous hotels. One can’t find a better located hotel than this in mumbai.
The rooms are a bit cramped yes, but not to the point of being uncomfortable. Staff at the reception and the in house dining is quite nice as well. The breakfast spread had a number of options and tasted delicious.

No WiFi on the wing I stayed the last night. Employees can’t communicate in english(housekeeping) i requested for laundry for a sweater as I bought it and I wanted to wear it the next day when flying out and the lady took it and the next day I am calling to ask for it they told me is not washed. Until in the evening. I asked why no one told me that? They said housekeeping people can’t communicate in English🤔🤔🤔 They returned my sweater unwashed.

For how much this place costs, I was utterly disappointed. The bathroom smelled like urine, was old, not updated and the shower cold faucet was broken. The room itself was okay but every part of this hotel except the lobby needed updates. The breakfast buffet was also gross- the food looked old and stale. I would never stay here again. The surrounding area also smelled of sewage and feces so going for a walk was not enjoyable.

Staff were exceptional. Keen to please and help you make the most of your stay. Great location we were upgraded and had a fabulous room with a lounge all over looking the sea. Hotel was very nice and the roof terrace and pool were lovely. Would recommend others to stay here

We were initially given a room on the top floor that had a side access door .. although it was locked I didn't feel good about it and asked for a change in room. The window pane of that room was also cracked.. They then put me to a different room one level down but it was not a non-smoking room but I could live with that than stay in a room that had side access door. The place was safe, we were screened by security staff everytime we entered the hotel which was good.

They really need to replenish new towels and provide basic amenities in the washrooms. The towels provided were threadbare and instead of being white, they were stained and clearly had outlasted their usage.

We had great service and an enjoyable experience during our stay. The only complaint the entire stay is that dinner at the restaurant took much longer than expected. Otherwise, the staff was very accommodating and helpful and the stay was comfortable.

Hotel Marine Plaza is such a little gem. This was my second time staying here, as a gift to myself. I love the tranquil relaxing sea view and the pretty art deco design of the interiors, including the incredible glass elevators. Breakfast is always impeccable, with views of the bay. Priyal was a great server who was kind enough to prepare hot water with honey for me when I told him that I had a cold. This is going above and beyond!
The only thing that's missing compared to the last time I stayed there was the daily newspaper and 4pm snacks that used to be delivered to the room. I wish they would bring those back.

Location was very good. Breakfast varieties mostly for Indians so they should consider the International customers as well. There was no fresh fruit juice, I am paying 170 Usd per night for canned juice? Also my main issue was the bed they have provided. I booked a single room but they gave me a single bed, why can't get a King size bed? 170 Usd for small bed, this is terrible, who likes to sleep in a single bed?

The rollaway was very firm with little padding so it was quite uncomfortable. But the queen bed was softer with more cushion in the mattress. If you have back problems and can get a single instead of rollaway, I would recommend that.

Beyond all of the other issues we had here (our room type wasn't available, given a smoking room, etc) this was the worst hotel experience I've had to date. Verryyyy toxic pesticide was sprayed at 3AM and we immediately woke up, as it smelled like there was a gas or chemical leak that was quickly seeping into our room. I called the front desk and they acted like they couldn't smell anything, and then hesitated to tell us that they indeed sprayed toxic pesticide in the middle of the night. Our room windows did not open, the ac was making it worse, and they locked the 5th floor pool terrace doors (I was attempting to go sleep on the terrace). Needless to say we got zero sleep and had sore throats, dizziness, and burning eyes the next morning. Serious health concerns at this hotel that need to be addressed and not brushed off. Basically paid a lot of money to be gassed in my sleep.

Gracious Hotel on Marine Parade
The hotel is an oasis of calm in the most wonderful setting with views over the Arabian Gulf, it is very central for Churchgate and transport options. The staff in the hotel can not do enough for you day and night. I stayed with them for a week and every member from bottom to top of ranking were so nice by the end of the week it was like coming home each day. The buffet breakfast is outstanding on choice and quality offered, and is very popular on weekends with non guests brunching. The roof area has a wonder glass bottom swimming pool and makes for fun viewing 6 floors down in the beautiful Art Deco inspired lobby.

Was just ok. Although location is good. Just make sure that the room you book is what you get when you check in. I had to inform of the booking I did which had a sea view but was given with no view. But managed to get partial view which was great. So hotel staff tried to accommodate when pushed! The bathroom was a squeeze. Reminded me of Paris Hotels but rooms were large and comfortable.
