It's clearly a block of flats that has been converted to a hotel. My room was a bit cramped but for a few nights, I could live with it. There is a slight smell which in high summer is likely to be prominent. If you don't expect a 5 star experience, then it's OK. My room was clean, the staff friendly enough and walking distance to all the major sights. If I was back in Florence, would I stay there again, probably not, but I've no real complaints. Just don't expect too much and you'll be fine.

I was there for three nights and had no issues. Staff were very polite, the rooms/bathrooms were clean and the hotel itself is in a good location. I would say, however, that I was by myself and the room could be slightly cramped if two people (even though double bed was comfortable). Would recommend if you’re looking for mid-budget hotels.

We stayed two nights in mid Jan. I am very disappointed with this hotel. It is 4 stars on Expedia. I would think it is self-reported 4 stars. The owner probably equipped it with a few checkbox amenities such as a safe, a \"mini bar\" and so on to claim it.

1. No reception standing at the front desk (it was 11:30 in the morning). The street door was locked until ring a bell.

2. Immediate sensed an unpleasant smell in the lobby, as if someone just had a smelly meal.

3. The room key card is laminated with the room number for re-use. It is dirty and worn out.

4. The room was very code with a wall AC unit off when we entered. Also, the room had a very strong bleach smell. It took a few hours to warm the room up.

5. The WiFi did not work at first. Wanted to ask the front desk but found out that the phone was broken.

6. The room is very small, barely holds the beds with no much additional space. No table and no chairs.

7. The wall AC unit barely kept the room warm with max fan. It is extremely loud. You feel as if in an engine room or an airplane.

8. No cup or glass

All in all, 4-starts is a scam in my view. If you expect a 4-stars or 3-stars, skip it. If you see a deep discount, don't fall for it. Expedia really should downgrade this hotel.

9 day stay. The property hit my must-haves! Central location, clean, affordable, and safe. 5/5 in all these areas! There is nothing they can do about dirty streets but the filth did not cross the threshold. T2 tram from the airport is 2 blocks away. The central market is 2 blocks in the other direction. Key card swipe after dark. 24 hour desk service. Breakfast on the 5th floor with views. Very courteous staff. The only complaint is breakfast tables are cleared very quickly while I went for a americano refill. Will definitely return here.

Hotel was an 8 minute walk from train station. About 10-15 minute walk from sights, lots of restaurants in area, launderette 5 min walk. Room was small but fine for a few nights. Continental breakfast is included and was sufficient would stay again.

There were no additions such as shampoo provided or coffee in the rooms
The room had an awful smell (urine from the bathroom and vinegar from the bedding)

Breakfast was also poor
They' did provide some gluten free.options which was apprecaited but the bacon was cold and all fat and coffee tasted strange

We spent 2 days here. We had mosquitos in room first day, which I had to use mosquito spray given by reception.
It rained during our stay so had water leaking through ceiling in bathroom through several places - so puddles on floor. Had to put towels all over floor - not hygienic and very dangerous - wife and children slipped a few times could have caused an injury.
I had payed full cost up front - if I could I would have left within first few hours stay.
Not one to complain but I have to in his instance.
No way is this a 4 star hotel.
Only plus is location.

We were able to check-in early. It is walkable from Santa Maria Novella train station and so are the points of interest. When we arrived, the electric metal blinds was not working. Letitia gave us a sheet to temporarily give us privacy. When we came back from our tour the next day, it was already fixed. Great place to stay. Worth the money we paid for. Santa Maria Novella Basilica is close by. Worth visiting. Well recommended.

The bathroom had a horrendous smell that made it barely usable. In property's defense, I don't think it was necessarily uncleanliness but old plumbing that is creating this odor. The bathroom had no ventiliation system; no windows nor an electrical fan system. Room had a single towel (it was a booking for one, as a reference), which came pre-stained and looking rather thin with too many washes.

The door to our room wouldn’t open. He promised to get it fixed right away. We could barely get our suitcases and didn’t get done.
Frame of the closet door was broken. We couldn’t even open it and I took a bunch of pictures. I spoke to them about it. He was gonna get fixed. They didn’t do it. I asked to be moved to another room. They told me to pack my bags this was on day too, and they would move my items. To another room.
When I got back at the end of the day, nobody knew what was going on and the status very rude. They made us feel very uncomfortable as if it was our fault the room we were in should’ve never been booked because everything was falling apart and bathroom smell like a sewer shower door was broken. We took a shower all the water with pee all over the place.
Made us stay very uncomfortable. The cleaning crew is excellent the receptionist they were very rude.

We booked a stay, tried to confirm a late checkin contacting the hoyel from expedia since two weeks before arrival, they never replied to messages or calls, we called the phone number they provided and we didnt get a replied after many attenptsx we looked them up on google and found an email, they never replied to that so we decided to book another hotel amd tried to get a reimburse, even expedia personnel confirmed that it was hard to contact the hotel and they tried to get the reimburse without success. Stay away from this hotel and look for better options they get a negative in cistomer service from even the simplest things like initial contact

I was traveling alone so I didn't need much, and this was very convenient and easy. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were helpful and friendly. My only complaint might be that the room had an odor that did not clear up the whole time I was there. I think this might be due to being in a very old building with old plumbing. The room was so small the only place to open your luggage was on the bed. The only thing on the bed was sheets. The shower was so small you couldn’t even get shampoo on your head without being directly under the shower head.

The hallways and lobby stunk. The street was dirty, crowded and noisy.

Nice little BUDGET hotel with no frills or luxury of any kind but staffed with lovely, friendly people who make you feel welcome. Convenient location close to train station and all the places you want to visit in Florence.
Small rooms but equipped with everything you need including a safe and a little fridge.
Only thing I missed and would like to have is a little table.

The property is very centrally located—just a short walk from the Duomo and the central train station, with easy access to the tram as well. I was pleasantly surprised by how convenient the location was. The staff were friendly, and the included breakfast was a nice way to start the day with a quick bite. This is amazing little property, ran by a great staff. You have the overlook the small size of the rooms for the value. If you are there to walk around Florence and only there to relax and shower this is your place! The staff is kind and respectful, the WiFi is good, and since we were there in the summer we were thankful for the good air conditioning.

I booked a room for four people, and it was so small we couldn’t even open our suitcases. The air conditioning didn’t work even after hours, the furniture was falling apart, everything was dirty, there was a terrible smell, and there was mold in the bathroom. It was simply unbearable.

To their credit, the staff did try to help by moving us to another room — but unfortunately, the new room was just as bad, if not worse. They really tried to fix the situation, but the overall condition of the hotel is just unacceptable. My hisband and I had to leave with my daughters and book a different hotel the same night.

This place looks nothing like the photos, and I truly don’t understand how it has good reviews. Please, Avoid it.

If one is not there for a fancy hotel room, but for sightseeing, this is a great, clean, bare bones room. It is close to the train station. We were on the 5th floor and had a great view! Breakfast was also on the 5th floor. Close proximity to all the museums and Duomo, 20 minute walk or less to everything. We walked everywhere!

I arrived early and my room was ready which was quite welcome after a long train ride. The room was clean.

I saw another review about how small the shower is. Yes, it’s small but you can’t expect a car wash in one of these small hotels. I believe that Expedia gives the size of the room in sq. ft. That should provide a good indication of whether you can fit the Titanic in the shower.

My only comments are that a thicker blanket would have been nice. Even when it’s hot, a sheet sometimes is too little. Also that the internet access was intermittent. WiFi signal was strong but sometimes you just couldn’t get to anything but Google.

シングルの部屋からダブルの部屋にアップグレードしていただき、テラスまで付いていて快適に過ごせました。
フィレンツェ駅より5分くらいで到着しますが入口が少しわかりにくかったので駅から歩いて右側に注意してください。朝食は種類も多くて良かったです。EVには7時からと貼ってあったのに、7時に会場に行くと7時30分からとなっていて扉が閉まっていました。
係の方が到着する時間により多少ばらつきがあるようです
ホテル代が高価な夏のイタリア観光地で満足価格で泊まれました
