Check in was easy and whilst my flight arrived hours before check in time there was a staff member there to happily let me in and store my luggage until check in proper.
My studio was very clean and spacious with quality bedding and everything one might need for a short stay. I particularly liked the little welcome package in the fridge and coffee pods, tea bags, sugar etc were replaced every day. There was also plenty of loo roll and more than enough quality towels.
Soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash was provided and there was a little sealed package of washing up liquid, sponge and cloth under the sink which was so handy. Pots, pans and crockery were adequate as was cutlery, although a sharp knife and bottle opener would be handy.. had I asked I’m sure the staff would have provided them though.
Breakfast is served until 10.30am which is great if you don’t want to get up too early. It was nice.. basic self service continental with cold cuts, cheese, croissants, yoghurt etc. all good quality and fresh. There was also scrambled eggs and bacon so a decent selection. You can take it back to your room if you prefer.
All in all I very much enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend Corte Guelfe. It’s in a great location, 10 minutes from the Duomo and no more than 20 mins from everything else. Very easy walking distance from the T2 tram stop from the airport. All staff are friendly, helpful & welcoming and it’s quiet despite its central location.
