Very close to the Vatican & bus lines in a small quite neighborhood, this place is clean, clean, clean as if an army of nuns do the cleaning, the only dirt in this place comes on your shoes, the room is very modern, bright with white sheets, several pillows, decoratve bronze bed runner & pillows, the room has electric operated roll down blinds that block out all the light so set your alarm clock beacuse you will sleep like a baby, the room has nice modern suitcase & clothes storage & small tv, the bathroom is clean & bright with decoatve tiles, the shower is on the small size so the very robust clients may not find it the most comfortable, the shower has nice warm water with a rain drop shower head & a hand held unit, the bathroom has small low seat tiolet & a bidet, the room is secured with an electron card key sytem, the complex has five rooms all secured by the card key system, a community snack room / breakfast area with an outside smoking viewing area, the building has a small elevator for two so abundant luggage may take a couple trips, our stay was extremly comfortable & relaxing, this is hands down the very best small hotel / motel in Rome, your host Francesco is the nicest, most helpful & considerate person in Rome, he helps with taxis, bus routes, maps, restaurants & sight seeing so enjoy your stay Rome

We picked this hotel because of its proximity to the Vatican City, and it was perfect. From the moment we arrived, our concierge Francesco was engaging, knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable with our options for the week. The room was very clean, and housekeeping kept it so. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic guest house in Rome with my family, and I cannot recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, Francesco, the host, made us feel incredibly welcome. He provided a detailed map of the city and offered invaluable suggestions for exploring Rome, which truly enhanced our experience. His local knowledge and warm demeanor set the tone for a perfect stay.

The room itself was immaculate, with daily housekeeping ensuring everything remained spotless throughout our visit. Despite being in a bustling city, the hotel was wonderfully quiet, allowing us to rest peacefully after long days of sightseeing.

One of the best features of the location was its convenience. It was a short and pleasant walk to the Vatican, making it ideal for anyone planning to visit this iconic landmark. Additionally, the hotel was well-connected to the rest of the city via several convenient bus routes, which made getting around Rome a breeze.

For breakfast lovers, the area offered plenty of charming cafes and eateries to start the day right. We also felt completely safe in the neighborhood, even when returning late in the evening.

Overall, this guest house exceeded our expectations in every way and was a key part of a memorable trip to Rome.

He made a point of being there when we checked in and spent. 25 min with us going over the area, sights to see, dining options etc. He showed us our room and went through everything in detail. When we left he helped us with our luggage and waited with us for our taxi. This facility was great and our host was excellent!

Just stayed here with my wife and we both loved it! The check in process was excellent and he told us great recommendations for restaurants, popular cites to see and ways to get there. It’s far enough away from the center of Rome to not get hit my the tourist traps and get a more relaxed experience. Then he also called us a cab and we saved a little by not getting an Uber.

We had an amazing time. Francesco, our host was incredible. He took the time to explain how to get everywhere. He booked our transport from airport to the hotel & from the hotel to the train station. When we arrived at his hotel he took almost 1 hour to explain how to get to all the major attractions of the city. He explained how to manage in getting attractions tickets at the last minute! Very close to Vatican City, room is very clean, the common area very clean. We had earl check in and we could leave our luggage while we waited for our train ! You won’t regret it!

From before I even arrived, Francesco was so helpful with my planning and arrangements. You will not regret staying at this space!! We had a room with a balcony which was quite lovely to sit out on and relax/regroup after exploring Rome. Everything was immaculate and up to date and modern amenities. We were even able to leave our luggage behind while we did another day of exploring the city, after we had checked out.. which was so appreciated!! The most gracious and kindest host!! He will warm your heart and make you feel like he has known you forever and will guide you along the way!!!

Location....20-minute walk to St Peters/Vatican museums, 5-minute walk to bus stop, 10 minutes to a grocery store and around the corner from a few local restaurants.

Host.... Francesco is awesome!! Answered my questions prior to arrival and gave great advice on getting around the area. A super nice guy!

Room....not huge by US standards but very nice. Clean, well appointed, comfortable bedding, very modern. A nice feature is the blackout shade to help adjust after an overnight flight from the states.

I can't say enough good things about our stay at this guest house and will stay there again the next time we are in Rome.

This is my second time staying here.The property manager, Francesco, is the best. He’s very friendly & helpful with suggestions for restaurants, which buses to take, etc. And he’s always quick to respond to texts when you’re out & about touring around & you have a question. The neighborhood is nice & quiet with great restaurants one block away, and a fabulous bakery 2-3 blocks away. Don’t hesitate to book here. You won’t regret it. The Manger of this hotel was incredible. He was there to help at all times and when we arrived spent 15 minutes walking us through a map of Rome and picking out things to visit and great ideas for everything (shopping, dining, coffee, groceries). Everything he recommended was absolutely spot on. The location itself was really cool in Vatican City area and we walked everywhere for the three nights we were there no problem. So many great restaurants within a couple hundred meters and a nice place for wine and drinks literally 50 meters outside the door. Could not have been happier.

The room was much nicer than indicated by pictures on website. Rooms have been updated in the last couple of years. Modern amenities and thoughtful, too, like a book light for reading at night. But the real reason you stay at this guesthouse is because of Francesco, the owner. We had read reviews of his hospitality and they were not unfounded. He never failed to accommodate us as best he could and his continued enthusiasm for serving his guests was impressive.

We stayed here our first night in Rome and Francesco couldn't have been more helpful. He carried our bags in and gave us a 10 minute rundown of the area as soon as we walked in. He even wrote food and tourist recommendations on the map! Location was a short walk away from the Vatican museum and Sistine Chapel. Property was very clean and quiet. The Guest House is fantastic, and we can't say enough about Francesco and the degree to which he takes care of his visitors. The hotel is spotless, and the rooms are very comfortable. It's close to a lovely cafe where my wife and I enjoyed cappuccinos each morning, and the whole family loved the pastries there. Be prepared to walk, though. The Vatican is a short distance away, but the rest of the city is a little bit of a hike. That didn’t bother us, since we’re city people, and Francesco had a ton of fantastic recommendations for eating and exploring what Rome had to offer. Thanks for everything!

One of my favorite stays in a month visit to Europe! Out of the hubbub of central Rome, but easily walkable to St. Peter’s. Train and buses within 2 blocks. Quiet and local.
Francesco, the owner, was a great host, making great suggestions and making himself available by phone at any time and for any reason.
The room was well appointed, immaculate and so quiet. No big hotel amenities( or charges) but a common room and balcony if wanted. Hearing the church bells was delightful but not loud enough to disturb me.
Corner bakery and lots of restaurants within easy walking.

The property is a 15 minute walk to the Vatican / St Peter's and museum... Ideal location for those interests. Francesco who manages the property is a \"Gem\"!!! We would go back simply because of him! Extremely helpful, very knowledgeable, he spent 30 minutes when we arrived and mapped out all the sites we would want to tour and provided restaurant recommendation in close proximately to the different sites. He also provided insight to the local transportation including how to navigate and costs. He provided his personal mobile number for us to call anytime if we needed help. We did not realize the need to get tickets for some of local tourists sites (Colosseum, Vatican Museum, etc.) that were sold out weeks in advance, Francesco connected with tour companies to get us in with only 1-2 day notice. On the last day, we needed to leave for the airport at 6 AM and he made arrangements for a transport van that was on time, very professional, at an extremely affordable price. The property itself was VERY CLEAN, comfortable, quiet, and overall a great experience. My spouse and I are 60 and did 27 miles of walking throughout Rome over 3 days... the Leonardo Da Vinci Guest House was a great place to relax and refresh when returning from the day trips.

This place is a little Gem!!!! From the moment we arrived to Rome, Francesco texted us to let us know the driver was on his way and the apartment was ready, allowing us to check in early which was very appreciated.
Upon arrival he was waiting for us to help with luggage and showed us on the map everything we needed to know to get around and dine nearby.
The room was amazing, comfortable, clean and remodeled with a very modern design.
The location was PERFECT! walking distance(5 min) to Vatican and so close to Restaurants.

My husband and I had a wonderful time here! The location was perfect for walking to all our destinations and was a quick trip to the train station. The room itself was immaculate and we were given incredibly useful tips for stops in the area!

Perfect accommodation/spectacular host !

This Guest house is perfect … Francesco the owner is spectacular !
He looked after us with great information and kindness !
He met us at the door and saw us off at the door … you could not do any better anywhere else !
He gave us a map of everything we needed and the suite had everything we could need … first class amenities , clean comfortable we really could not have been happier !
We would book again in a heartbeat ! Thank you Francesco for making our trip so perfect !

Amazing Leonardo da Vinci guest house hotel

Rating this guest house 10/10. It was the best hotel we ever stayed in many trips we had. Very clean Everyday you arrive from visiting places he make sure the room is clean.👍Franchesco is very nice and accomodating. He treat his guests like a family. From day 1 til our last day. One thing that amaze us is.. he even sent us to the train station for our smooth transfer to the airport.. and guess what? He carries our luggage onto the stairs at Sn Pietro de Roma.He guide us everyday with our etinerary plans using the map. It made us easy to go around considering its our first time in Rome.Down the hotel is a resto called Goose where we go for our daily meal. Teodora was very nice! Always smile and the staff there knows us whenever we come for a meal for our dinner.Its highly recommendable to tourists guests and if ever we decide to be back in Rome. This will be the same place of our choice.And one more thing. Even we were delayed with check in due to delayed flight. He still waited for us in the reception arriving around 10 ish in the evening.The location is perfect! Just about 5 mins walk to St Peters Basilica where you could be early avoiding ques as Franchesco will help in requesting tickets to enter the Vatican for free..

Best little place in Rome

I stayed for five nights. Francisco met me at check in. Very very knowledgeable and friendly. Never had a bad word. Room was excellent. Very modern clean 10 minute walk to the Vatican. I don't think you could find a better place. I loved it. I will definitely I heard you for some reason it will not let me download photos

Francesco was amazing and so helpful! He spent so much time pointing out all of the best restaurants and things to do. He made the whole process seamless in terms of getting there from the airport. The room was a great value and very close to St Peter’s. Very clean and new looking rooms.

Wonderful Stay! Book it

Francesco is amazing! When we walked in, Francesco was at the front desk, he allowed us to check in early, he gave us a wonderful overview of the city, recommended certain places to eat, and was very warm and caring. The room was excellent, especially for the price! We would definitely recommend starting here.

The room was immaculate and very comfortable, with all the amenities including a safe and tea kettle. The blinds and sound proofing were especially effective!

But it was Francesco and his great hospitality who made the stay perfect. He organized transfers and took extra time to answer my (many!) questions. He also shared helpful tips on sights, restaurants transportation, everything I needed.

The guest house is ideally located near Vatican City (10-minute walk), with small convenience shops and restaurants around the corner.

All together, It's a wonderful place to stay. I reccommend it highly and hope to return!

This property was walking distance to the Vatican. The property was very clean and spacious. Francesco was so nice and very helpful. He speaks English which was a plus for us. Check in was very easy and smooth. Francesco was there to greet us and give us a map with places to explore. There are restaurants and stores nearby. The area is safe to walk around.

AMAZING!! Francesco is an outstanding caring professional owner. He took care of all our needs. Booked us a great shuttle from the airport, gave us tips on where to eat, etc. Great location. Beautiful modern room with balcony. Black out shades.
